@@PixelRacer64 Really just a thumb??? I'm a snowboarder that does steep chutes and I also have a sled and I can tell you it doesn't matter how good the sled is...to rip up those chutes takes enormous balls just like holding anything fast WFO is going to tax even the best riders. I give these dudes full credit, I'd like to see the people that go pffft that's easy go do what these guys do. They make it look easy that's probably why some think it's just a thumb and anyone can do it. What I don't get is how come they all don't instantly die in a massive slide? I live in the san juans in colorado and I'd kill for a snowpack like that. Ours is usually touchy and scary even without sleds.
My Sidewinders could outrun anything going up the slopes in Sweden, but the weight can really kill you if you get stuck a lot ;) Running Skidoo now since Yamaha doesn't really care about anything than changing colour schemes on their "new" sleds these days :/ We don't have these super steep chutes here though, looks really scary!
Same...watching and listening to those Yami's scream, knowing how much hp they were making, was absolutely ridiculous. Wonder if he's still our there ripping on those sleds
So awesome. I used to watch the revy Chute Out videos every year that Laird used to put out too. This video is very reminiscent of those days. So cool to see these types of videos too. Outstanding video once again Matt!!
Really liking these chute pull videos. When I see chutes with tracks going up them sometimes I'm like a snowmobile can go up there? Another great video Matt!
Another great video brother. Man, those sleds and dudes riding them are out of this world!! Gotta love those bluebird days up in the alpine. Can't wait for your next video Matt.
The proof was at the top. Your Skidoo is far more rideable and one hell of a machine to even give that a run for its money. Nice tumble down the hill for you lol. That got the blood pumping I'm sure. Kick ass dude.
The Nascar of the snowmobile world. Don’t get me wrong, it’s bad ass, as are the sleds and riders, but you get what I’m saying. Those sleds are built for one thing and one thing only. Going straight up those chutes. Gnarly.
Just showed my mother this video and she couldn’t get enough lol back in the 90s my parents and their friends had a little crew/ club they called themselves the “snow warriors” hahah they may be in their 50s & 60s now and have old 90s sleds but that doesn’t slow them down.. anyways thanks for the upload we can’t wait for the next ! - the moxon family
400HP!? That's like more hp's then 90% of cars n trucks on the road! Freakin crazy hairlips! How can they ride them things with balls that big? Lol mint👌
It’s an entirely new world now dude. It’s unfortunate that it’s so expensive to get a newer sled.. I really believe that’s what holds sleds back from being as popular as dirt bikes.
I can't comprehend how you stayed so calm and started chuckling when you dropped the sled on that chute, I would've been terrified 😆 Great content as always
These guys make it look easy......I was getting beat on hills 1/3 the size of these. I'm sure they have way better horsepower and tracks but still this is not an easy feat.
Even a bigger holy shit when you are dug in stuck 3/4 the way up a 500 foot wall. You think to yourself sometimes How TF did I get up here. 😂 I t’s a long way down with a huge 2-3 foot deep trench to ride down that you dug on the way up.
Thanks man. I would never get to see or enjoy those climbs without you. Thanks. I'm just a worn out 53 year old carpenter trying to ride an old RMK 700 151. I suck but it's fun trying.
You gotta start somewhere, Muskoka freerider you tube channel is a good place to watch and learn. Doesn't matter if you're any good, the main thing is your out there having fun!
Yeah I have an old trusty Yamaha Nytro with mcxpress 270hp, Factory clutch and 8DN belt. Drive a whole vinter on one belt, if I don't mess up and hit full boost pull on a cold belt or something... It actually eats much less belt than the "Non turbo" Nytro I had before, that's insane 🤘😁
Hey Matt wasn't the snowmobile over revving last video? I thought your adjusted your clickers. Either way wouldn't that help get the RPM back? Thank you for sharing, like always awesome content.
totally different day for you, those mod sleds are insane and we even got to see some carnage of what can go wrong on a chute climb. Great vid, keep it up Matt.
Been in there many times but never had the balls to wreck my sled doin chutes. Tree riding is way more fun and typically less expensive!! Brings back tons of memories. Great vid!! 🛷
Another great vid. I've watched all these chutes ger pulled many years ago in the BOOST series of vids. Turbo Apex's, and Nytros. Amazing that a completely stock factory sled can climb those chutes now!
Finger throttle I like it, I used to race jetski X2’s back in the day and everyone switched to finger throttles, years later I bought a Summit X and immediately rotated my thumb to finger throttle, all the guys I rode with didn’t like it but it always made more sense to me.
An insurance agents worst nightmare. I bet your heart was fluttering when you didn’t make that pull and your sled was headed down the hill. Sure glad you made it out with out to many scratches. Great mix up of content.
Thanks to the guys that sent me some extra clips and sorry to guys who I could find their social media to tag them!
Who was on the sled with the winter nutz decal?
Sheldon kelly! He's my uncles friend and filmed with him
20lbs of boost holy shit that is crazy.
@MuskokaFreerider Was going to sub.....but then your greed was apparent when putting another commercial in at the one minute mark of this video . Push pause and stop watching people mIIm
The 4stroke sound is what I’m talking about. Muskoka you need a custom 400hp chute monster now.
Exactly!!
I'd have to say we have to thank Randy Swenson for the big 4 stoke turbo yammies, he's the God father of them.
Very true. Look up to him

These guys are riding up the kind of stuff I used to ski down in my younger days. Those sleds are completely insane.
@@PixelRacer64 this comment made everyone more stupid thanks
@@PixelRacer64 yeah technology is getting better, still takes hell of a lot of balls, money, and skill that most riders don’t have to get to the top

Everyone talking trash about heavy Yamaha 4stroke until you need 400HP 🤘
😂
Love the Yamaha 4-stroke!
The stuff dreams are made of!
I have to admit it was a bit fun to watch you not make it 😅
oh man this brings back memories of watching Thunderstruck films when I was younger. More of this :D
As an old diehard hillclimber, what a treat to watch these guys and their custom sleds! Thanks for the great video!
You know you have too much HP when you catch air going up hill. Insane
That big chute guy realizing he isn't a big chute guy 🤣 😉 those are probably the few Yamahas you see on the mountain.
0:36 the only Polaris i like is the pro-pex. Polaris with Yamaha apex engine. You should buy a four stroke (yamaha sidewinder) with big turbo
One. Of ur top videos great scenery great chutes.lots of good times.going downs cool 😎

Love these big iron chute climbs! When I hear hill climb, this is the kind of pull I think of. Awesome vid, keep up the great work!
Man this brings me back to watching laird macdougall on UA-cam back in the day! Great video
Same...watching and listening to those Yami's scream, knowing how much hp they were making, was absolutely ridiculous. Wonder if he's still our there ripping on those sleds
Pretty amazing what stock turbo sleds can go up. That Doo turbo is so impressive.
Love the vids man! You’re my idol❤️
This is where Yamaha snwmobiles shine the most. Big power turbo 4 stroke.
Good to see some of the Cranbrook lads, like Shelly Kelly, out with you Matt.
Thanks man. Didn’t know u watched these. 👌
So awesome. I used to watch the revy Chute Out videos every year that Laird used to put out too. This video is very reminiscent of those days. So cool to see these types of videos too. Outstanding video once again Matt!!
Freakin awesome ..good job capturing this for the World to see
That gash climb is Unbelievable ….it’s a monster Hill
Reminds me of the Laird MacDonald videos
Powerhouse customs
Glad you were able to make it out with us ! Hopefully my sled works properly next time!
This was probably the best video all year! Loved seeing the carnage and the crazy chute climbs!
Really liking these chute pull videos. When I see chutes with tracks going up them sometimes I'm like a snowmobile can go up there?
Another great video Matt!
A few of those climbs are not steep. They are bloody vertical!
Another great video brother. Man, those sleds and dudes riding them are out of this world!! Gotta love those bluebird days up in the alpine. Can't wait for your next video Matt.

Awesome! There’s something so fun about watching chute climbs and it’s always interesting to see these powerful mod sleds. Great video.
Great viddy. I hope you will continue to film this event in the future. Those four strokes put out some crazy horsepower.
20 pounds of boost 😂

Bad ass chute climbing 😉🙏keep safe
That was a cool change of pace 🤘. Unreal HP in some of those machines .
Right on Boyz!!! Throttle out!! No doubt!!Whooooh!!!!😀🤘🤘
Totally insane sleds killing it up those chutes
These guys make it look easy......I was getting beat on hills 1/3 the size of these. I'm sure they have way better horsepower and tracks but still this is not an easy feat.
From the distance shots, the “hills” don’t look all that spectacular. Then he rides over to the group at the bottom and we’re all like, Holy Shit.

Man I'm kinda glad when I started I didn't have this kinda access to these kinda sleds,40 50 gs for a sled is alot. Luv the content. Im In awe.
400 hp on factory apex clutches, probably a 8DN belt too. Man I wish Yamaha wouldn’t have given up on snowmobile innovation.

Them boys must run on jet fuel and testo😂
I like the propex! That's awesome! Finally a Yamaha engine in a good chassis! I may have to build a trail version of that!😅😅
Amazing skills! Wow!!!
They make it look so easy, next years challenge is to do it with a passenger lol
My favorite video of the season!
These videos are Awesome!
More 4-stroke
Can’t beat the sound of a tuned sidewinder
Love the vids watch then daily

🎉This is the most gnarly snowmobile video I've ever seen.🎉
Man you just keep getting better and better
My sled half way up: “Release brake. Limp mode activated.”
crazy stuff man❤
My Jesus lol. Airport and such not so bad like what you did. But those 4 stroke guys are a different bread.
Just curious, anyone know what the general vertical angle is on these chutes?
Been in there many times but never had the balls to wreck my sled doin chutes. Tree riding is way more fun and typically less expensive!! Brings back tons of memories.
Great vid!! 🛷
Rolled my sled out many times, And it never hurts them. Which is why we climb in the soft snow.
It’s Irman’s Arm and McLaren’s Mile. Named by the guys that climbed them first.
21:45 this guy really just used a mountain as a jump...
9:50 Didn't just hit the tree - he made it to the top!
It's look like crazy :-)
Just get a Yamaha sidewinder mtx with 270kit
Gotta put a new belt on show them boys what a stock doo can do
This was extremely interesting and a great episode, even though I like when you are by yourself with the gopro through tree's and whatnot
This guy is good my favorite UA-cam guy
Those built 4stroke turbo sounds so powerful going up but it’s still not enough to change from the beautiful 2strokes 😂😂
Love hearing all that power
Next we need to see you riding one of those big power 4 strokes! Would love to see your reaction and thoughts on them

Love the energy from you and the boys in This one!
love the bro out team effort at the end... you guys are amazing riders.
Have you ever seen grind hards hayabusa snow bike?
BRO , my car only has 330 hp and its a freekn rocket , i cant imagine having 400 hp on a sled
Thanks for the winter videos! Good stuff!
Enjoyed this, fun little changeup in content. But I wanna see you on one.
I offered him to ride mine…. Lol
Amazing guys... I couldn't even imagine the thrill...
This was your best video to date those old boys are BADASS
That's the type of group of riders I would avoid. Haha.
An insurance agents worst nightmare. I bet your heart was fluttering when you didn’t make that pull and your sled was headed down the hill. Sure glad you made it out with out to many scratches. Great mix up of content.
That’s why we only climb with soft snow.
So Knarly !!
