- In this video we will putting 1.5 Inch wheel spacers and All Terrain tires on my 2012 Dodge Journey. This make this not so cool SUV look a little more aggressive and unique.
Tips: When using the Orion Motor Tech spacers on the Journey be sure to use the factory lug nuts to attach the spaces to the vehicle. then use the nuts that came with the spacers on the wheels.
There will be a minor tire rub on the back of the front tires. It is barley noticeable.
The tires on the Journey are 225 65 R17s. The tires I am putting on are 245 65 R17s.
Here is a link to the spacers on Amazon-

Well done
Matt is the man ✅😎👍🏽
I love it!😮❤ want to do this soon. My Journey is 2014 looks the same😉😃
Awesome!
Te quedo muy genial la journey
really nice, I got a 2014 rt 3.6 journey. which spacers size did you use ? you mechanic got nice skills!
I believe they were 1 1/2 in spacers. Got them on Amazon.
You can heat up the plastic reshape it. I had to do the same with my lug nuts . Mine has mud flaps and they do rub a bit on full lock but I might remove the mud flaps
Think I'm gonna do a lift on it next. 🤔
@ 15:00 holy sh!t that’s an original HEMI
It's a 1955 354 early hemi
Do you have to remove all the bolts from this car to replace the hubcap or can you just take off three of them and keep two on because that's what it looks like to me
excuse me I'm looking for those center caps what size do I need?an where do I get them
@ 12:05 it was only 5 weeks ago I made that video not 5 years ago lol
Oops I thought it was a long time ago my bad. Lol
Hi I have a question have you had any issues with it like a long drive or road trip
I did not. It actually got better gas mileage which was weird. Just a slight rub on the front but that was easy fix.
Do u think if I went a tire size higher to 255/65r17 or get a 2 in spacer that rubbing issue would be more of an issue?
Yeah probably would get more tire rubbing for sure. Might look into a lift on it. Like 2in lift
Que medidas son los espaciadores
Have you put a lift on your journey yet I’m looking to put some strut spacers on mine.
I have not. In fact I dont have the journey anymore. Kinda wish i did . We traded it is for a better family vehicle
Hey boss, why did you sell your journey?
You are in York pa?
No I'm in Oregon
Center Bore Hub
71.5mm or 82.5mm ?
When you turn normal ( not hard ), does it rub?
It did rub a little bit. I did end up taking off part of the rubber wheel well out. But for the most part it didnt rub. So if it does just cut out some of the plastic or rubber wheel well cover. Mine was kinda broken so that might have been why.
Good info. You are like the only youtube video i found with 245/65/17. I have 2018 dodge caravan.. i believe is the same specs as Journey. Factory came in 225/65/17. I currently have 235/65/17. And i want to go 245/65/17. So i was kind of worried. But this video really convinced me to get that size
@MKGti-xz4ve yeah that should look very good! I had the same van as well! And i believe those vans are pretty much the same as the Journey. They may be a bit lower though. So might need to look into raising it like 1-2inches. Not sure though.
Can you fit those tires without spacers? The 225s are very small so I wanted to upgrade
Yes I do believe you can fit them on without spacers. It may rub a lot more tho. I get a lot of rubbing when I turn hard. It's annoying. I may be putting a lift on it to help with that. Or just cut out part of the plastic wheel well
What is the inches of the spacer
2inch spacer
Thank you 😎
Awd?
No unfortunately it was not.
