Although I don’t purposefully wear the dewy look - my skin is extremely oily, so I’ve begun to accept some shine. I also love the CT matte palette. I’m much older than you, but I’ve started keeping my makeup simpler as I’m getting older, and love your aesthetic ❤

I love love Drunk Elephant’s O bloos drops. The most natural glowy blush ever. You can also put it all over your face. At first I wasn’t sure because it’s quite subtle, but it’s not meant to be just makeup. So good!!

I picked up Lisa Eldridge's Luxuriously Lucent lip colors in Je Ne Sais Quoi and Night Thoughts in early summer and the formula is so beautiful. I've been wearing JNSQ all of summer and can't wait to start wearing more of Night Thoughts as the weather cools in the northern hemisphere. The Chanel Water-Fresh Complexion Touch has also been a game changer. Such a lightweight formula with a beautiful natural finish and great coverage.
I ordered Night Thoughts too Hannah! But now I'm wishing I tried Je Ne Sais Quoi as well 😂💄 Can't wait for that new Chanel formula to finally launch in Australia! x

I live in Australia too so I love that the recommendations will work in a climate where it’s challenging for make up ro even stay on your face for half the year. Minimal make up ends up as a default. It’s a shame that a lot of the favourites in videos aren’t easily obtainable outside the US.
It's a struggle for all of us Safira! 😭✈️🇺🇸 I used to visit the US more regularly and would stock up on brands we couldn't get in Australia, but I've relied on friends to bring orders back or mail packages sometimes in the past few years x
I'm more of a lip balm or gloss gal, but I recently received the Merit lipstick in Baby for my bday. And I loved it so much that if I wasn't on a no-buy mode, I surely would've ordered L'Avenue & 1990 (maybe 1 or 2 lip oils too) immediately 😆

Pink beet and taupe. Actually I prefer thinner lip oils and thanks for the tip to blot for a stain effect.
I don’t know if elf is available in Australia but I got their new brightening concealer that’s in a clicking pen format and I was blown away, it’s so good and lightweight. If your Chanel one ever get discontinued, I’d give it a try! Lovely video as always! ❤

Love your make up bag videos. Perfect content for a nosy person like myself. My Ilia multistick in Dreamer is almost used up. It's my only blush and I am very proud that I used it before it expired. Sadly, the highlighter will probably expire before I can use it up because I don't use a lot of it (even when applying every time I use make up).

I looove Merit’s Signature Lip! 1990 has been my go-to shade to create that sultry brown vibe look that lives up to its name. Recently told my friend from the US to carry the shade Baby back home 😊
My only critique with the Signature Lip is its fragility, my 1990 broke only one day after I got it 😅 apparently a lot of people had the same problem, wish they’d improve the formula!
I think a lot of MERIT has been making its way around the world in suitcases Hanny, that's how I got some of my products too! 😂✈️ Oh no, sorry to hear about the bullet issue, I haven't had that happen with mine (one was squished inside the lid in my Sephora order though but I stuck it back together and it's worked perfectly). I wonder if they'll strengthen the packaging like they did with The Minimalist recently x

A new product I love is Coola Organic Liplux Classic Sunscreen Lip Oil. I put it over lipsticks, balms, etc. to protect my lips from the sun. I often use the Coola Mineral Tinted Balms, with the Liplux oil over it. The tinted balms fell pretty dry, so Liplux adds moisture and a pretty shine.

Victoria Beckham Beauty has some lovely shade combinations (toasty Tweed is my favourite and Silk looks stunning) and the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions in Medium and Dark have a better variety of shades. There's also a Dose of Colors palette called Sassy Siennas, love that colour group! Do you have any favourites in this area already? x

Regarding concealer: I have two rosy brightening shades. One is from Pixi by Petra in Brightening Peach. Very thick, putty texture, not so good on the 56 year old circles and bags under my eyes, probably better for youngsters. The other is from Nyx in CW03 Light. Liquid, decent coverage, matches my skin well enough I don't have to cover the whole face to even things out.

Most products have a suggest expiry period written on the packaging in a little symbol, but I never really follow that... I try to prioritise hygiene (only applying makeup with clean hands, never sharing with other people, putting lids straight back on, cleaning up packaging after use etc) and if it still looks / smells / performs the same, I keep it! But that’s always a personal call 👍 x

I'm annoyed that Merit is being pushed so much, and their products are right up my street, but they don't ship outside of US or Canada. Being in Aus i'm unable to get them. *sigh* Love seeing your video and what you're using. I'm hoping they'll expand shipping soon.

I just feel like they’re on every channel I watch, and have been for the last 12 months after they did their big PR send out. Those ilia sticks are so tacky in my opinion. When I set it with a blush and powder though it looks super natural and beautiful. And I love that it’s clean beauty
They're definitely dewy Victoria! Really patting / tapping the formula into the skin helps it to settle, but I use that technique to blend every cream blush ☺️ x

Completely understand the frustration Julia and Amanda, I wish we could head to the shops and see MERIT in person here! I hope they might ship internationally next year, but for now, I've been getting friends to mail my packages or sneak products home in their suitcase ✈️ (For context, my overseas audience is much larger than my Australian viewer numbers, so that's why I usually have the chance to work with international brands. I'd love to partner with an Aussie company one day if approached!) x
