I am the number one fan of this video :-) It's awesome to see everything finished up there, great work Neil! Especially love the sign and posted notices and flags, those were great little touches. The yellow roof was a great call. I'm excited for phase 2 now!!! Keep workin buddy! :-)
Thank you for bringing me here ;)
Thanks Brent. 😊 😊 And yeah, those little things are my favorites as well.
I did think about the warcraft 2 roof colour remark when that yellow desicion was made, if i recall the remark correctly. Looks great.
Brent you have to fly back out for help on the board!!!
this friendship is my new favourite thing now
Title: "I'm not a painter"
*Goes on to freehand the pumpkin on the sign in perfect detail*
You're an amazing painter, man! Keep up the good work!
That ruined townhouse looks like it SMELLS burnt. Awesome effects.
haha! actually, whenever i touch it now I feel without thinking my fingers are getting all black and full of soot!
What an amazing end result, be happy to see this on a table anywhere.
I wanna make something similar for when my buddies and I play DND 5e super excited to draw inspiration
@@talonabuser1072 That would be amazing :O
I still can't wrap my head around how freakin detailed those buildings are!
Neil! You ARE a painter!
Haha thanks Emil, you're too kind! 😊 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Right? Classic Neil fishing for compliments :-)
Hahaha😆
Congratulations on finishing this amazing town, after your marathon with Brent. You did an amazing job for someone who refuses to be called a painter.
I don't know why but catching a glimpse of Little Gandalf strolling around the town feels so satisfying.

Also, check out the shop while you're there to pick up the paints and pigments I used for this project as well as tools and supplies for all your hobbying needs.
I still can’t get over the brick work on these building it is just amazing. The pigment powders are brilliant, it just adds so much to these beautiful buildings. Way to go finishing up the rest of them! I cannot wait to see what’s in store for the terrain!
I want to live there .. i know you say your not a painter .. think again you def brought out the atmosphere and character.
Thanks man, glad you think so.🙂
YES! Phase 1 complete! I knew you could do it. Just finish up those tiny details and itll be 100%! I'm curious to see where phase 2 ends up. I havent seen anyone do a lot of water resin work outside of small puddles, so the build with the paddles from.the paddle wheel sticking into the water will have my upmost attention. You did a great job!
Thanks very much! Glad you're excited for this as I'm right there with you! Yes, there will be a decent amount of resin work so it's I think you'll be well satisfied.😊
Love the idea for the red, yellow, and blue bunting. I’ll be using that technique for a Hobbit shire board. Glad to have found your channel through Goobertown Hobbies.
Yeah they really add a lot of character to the scene. And welcome!!
WOW. Looks amazing. I can't wait to see the whole board come together.
Holy cow, I'm so glad you managed to get the remaining pieces done! I am SO excited to see you throw together all of them into a board
Thanks Sally! 😊
I can hear the clanking from the blacksmith, the smells of the hearth fires-- I can feel the calmness of the village, yet it's lingering fear of the innumerable hazards and imminent foes beyond the monolithic- walled border...
Insanely detailed models, and you guys have created some award- winning quality final products here, its beyond fantastic. Can't wait to see the expert level terrain/ base done and completed with these masterpieces.
Oh yeah... 😎 These things just pull you right in to another world. Really looking forward to doing some gaming with these. And thanks, it's hard to mess them up with all that detail already there for you!
@@RealTerrainHobbies Absolutely, that'll be awesome to game some sessions with them, wish I still had my Chaos Black Legion Army hah (ohh nostalgia hah). The detail is really something, top notch products for sure-- you guys really brought them to life. Looking forward to much more, cheers!
Awesome as always!!! Really would love to win the stables. Thanks for all you do!!!!
We loved this video! You should definitely call yourself a painter! Your skill is crazy good, the detail and how realistic you make these are insane!
Im not even sure what I would do with these buildings, but man...they are just fantastic! I can't wait to see what you have in store for them. Well done!!
Beautiful I love those buildings!
This is so cool I wish I had your painting skills can't wait to see it on your board
Stoked you got this done so fast. Can't wait for phase 2!
Jeepers, those are incredible! Great job, sir! I'm very excited to see what you've got cooking for the table!
I think all three of you guys are awesome! Love the paint work.
Can't wait to see all of these awesome buildings arranged together - great work!
ahh perfect, you added the green. It looks absolutely stunning!!!! 😍😍
I just got into terrain building and painting with my kid. This stuff is simply amazing, and how you painted these are astonishing. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome you're painting with your kid. Very cool.
phenomenal work... i LOVE watching your videos... it was so cool to see this entire village come to life... really looking forward to seeing u assemble the terrain and everything... so so awesome
Awesome! I love this video I. Can’t watch it right now because I’m at work but I’ll download it for later because I don’t have Wi-Fi going home. Thank you for sharing!
11:28 someone walking on a second floor of the merchant's house!!!
Wow! That's really impressive. Both the time you pulled it off in and of course the results.
Absolutely superb!
What a fantastic journey!!
So pled to see it almost completed, can’t wait to see it on the setting table 😀
LOVE the Moss look on the roofing
The amount of detail is this piece is incredible! Keep up the awesome work, dude!
Great work! The primary colours on the banner was an awesome idea! 😎😁
I was so impressed with these buildings I have ordered the cottage for starters to see how I get along with painting it. Excellent couple of videos looking forward to the next one.
Awesome good for you! Good luck with it and just take your time and enjoy the process. 😊
The buildings look absolutely amazing!! I am very excited to see the final result when you have this all laid out as a cityscape. Awesome work man.
Thanks very much! I'm looking forward to it too😊
You do amazing work my friend i cant wait to see all the building done on the table. This would be great for DnD( been playing for 20 years) and other Fantasy games.
Not a painter HA! You have a natural knack for the right color combo's from start to finish!!
Being human, most of us are naturally our own worst critic! I bet that your terrain for this is going to be just as stupendous & I have only seen a few of your videos besides this project! You seem to have an eye for detail. So pat yourself on your back and be proud. (And DON'T WORRY, you don't seem the type too get full of yourself).
P.S. I'm sure I speak for everybody, that we wish we could all see these pieces (and the final terrain) in person, but your video is also such a great work that it is a very close 2nd to being there! Thanks so much for sharing everything!
lol thanks very much Val. Your words are very encouraging and appreciated. 😊 I wish you all could see them in person as well. I feel pretty spoiled having these all here alright. At least these videos are the next best thing.
Very awesome build, great work, ty for showing us.
Incredible work as always! This has been a great little series!
man! this whole build is going to be killer! can't wait for you to finish! :D
Watching you guys work on this and all the other tabletop World buildings as well as the terrain and things you work on is so inspiring. I used to do something similar before UA-cam came along, and I did it to the point where I got kind of burned out. Watching you guys do this stuff makes me want to get back in there and play. I'm going to be starting a little village / Terrain here shortly
although I'm on a budget I'm going to do my best. I'll be recreating Shadowdale from TSRs Forgotten Realms. It was my absolute favorite as a kid so I'll give it a shot.
That is so awesome. Take it slowly and remember why you love to do what you do and not get caught up in just getting things done. Best of luck!🙂
This is another amazing work of art, I love the little Wizard showing up now and then.. NICE TOUCH! Great Video.. GREAT WORK!!
i always listen to audiobooks while building/painting , ps new to the channel . great stuff !
Nice job
Yea totally agree :)
Dude, respect man. I really love the dedication you put into this! And it came out VERY nicely
Thanks man. 🙂
I was so amazed all the way. I must have said "wow" at least 15 times. I even woke my roommate...it was 2 AM. This is just awesome.
Instant subscription. I also watched the video you released a couple days ago with the foam and the toilet paper plaster...WOW!
Thanks man, really appreciate the kind words. Glad you’ve enjoyed it😊
Omg this is beautiful. I would use this at every tavern situation
Excellent as always!
I was one of your first hundred followers.
You did a great evolution. Now you inspire nealy 70k abonnents.
Congratulations. Keep it going :)
Cool. Beautiful building
Super nice buildings. Great work!
Thanks :)
This is a fantastic work of art!
great job and the painting guys!
Damn, I'm used to painting miniatures but I think I wanna get into doing dioramas like this as well, this looks awesome and could be a very interesting thing to have as a hobby
This series is so good!! You've made a new fan!
😊 💛
This is absolutely beautiful! Great job, I hope I can make a similar project in the future. You gained a new subscriber!
Absolut T O P danke fürs zeige , ich bin sowas von begeistert schön Ihren Kanal gefunden zu haben !! Beste Grüße und bleibt Gesund , Dieter
What I really enjoy about all your videos is "Spot The Wizard"
Fantastic work, Neil. You kept your promise and didn't give up, even without Brent by your side! 😉Way to keep the faith, brother. You have accomplished so much, with such exciting times ahead.
The pennants are a super charming touch - truly evokes that joviality! Have to say, the methods you've developed are very inspiring: thank you for sharing 'em with us.
The terrain for this magical town will be phenomenal. Yep.
Thanks Heather! It was difficult, but I knew I had to press on. Yeah the little things like the flags, food, posters on the doors etc are my favorite little bits. :)
i still cant believe how nice it is , im gonna look on your channel everyday to see the next video!
😊
I'd love to be able too create something like this, let alone paint it. Great job! Ive been working on a little tavern but nothing as awesome, or even close to this type project. Congrats bro!
Hey, whatever you're making, as long as you're making something with your own hands that is totally awesome. :)
Lol, you’re not a painter...you are now! Great job, fun to watch - definitely picked up a thing or two I can use.
Really really fantastic work, you are a great painter !!!
Very nicely done sir...now all we need is a hillside and some mnis
Absolutely great stuff
Awesome work!
Super excited to see this project board complete! I have about 10 of these buildings painted myself
Wow, right on and good for you. I hope you enjoyed painting them as much as I have. :)
@@RealTerrainHobbies i had someone commission paint most of them but they are fun to paint! I painted a couple and added details to the ones i got back from the painter.
GORGEOUS!!!!😍😍😍
Beautiful
congrats man for completing the buildings - so epic
Thanks Debbie!😊
Amazing job on the accessories too! You are a painter sir! A great painter!
Thanks man :)
Awesome!
I can be OCD but the patience an dedication you put into these models unreal
Congratulations and huge respect for you, Man! This project looks really nice) And it was cool to watch first episode with you and Brent painting 5 days for whole.
Keep goin!
Thanks man! I will. Thanks for the encouragement. :)
I just stumbled on this video and really enjoyed it. You are such a wonderful artist and I had no idea this type of modular building kits where avaliable. I'm a model train hobbyist and so loved beautiful and detailed painting and weathering. Tell the kit maker that if they make kits in 1:87 scale they might reach a whole new market. Specially for old castle and bridge and tunnel openings and statues and such.
It is amazing what you do
What a great Saga! I found you through Brent's Channel. What a dream project. Makes me want to buy all of them so I can experience that table.
Awesome, glad you made it on over. And yeah, dream project is right. Just happy I'm able to share it in a small way like this with everyone
Wow an amazing series! Cannot wait to see the table! Keep it up! It looks stunning! If you didnt consider yourself a painter before you can call yourself one now! Those are very detailed painted buildings. Also thanks to the series I got to know you and you win a sub!
Awesome stuff! Thanks for the words of encouragement and glad to have you here😊
awesome video
Very high quality work! Great movie!
Thanks man, LOVE your Subaru Dio!
@@RealTerrainHobbies 😯
Man these videos are inspiring me so much! quick question though, for your stone brick process how many layers of paints do you put on the stones before the pigment? and do you go from light to dark or visa versa?
amazing! awesome work.
I love this. Keep going.
Thanks🙂
Love your work only thing I think I’d add to them is interiors and small Electric lighting I think but I don’t really have the cash or know how to do that I’d have to watch some more video to learn how and get a job to fund it.
Love it.
Nice stuff Neil, I've been working on the Tavern that you made awhile back. Stayed awake for 24 hours and got the first floor done.
Ahhhh, the tavern. How I miss her. That's awesome man. I'm really looking forward to getting back to that build and finishing it up. Its the next big project to wrap up after this.
@@RealTerrainHobbies were you going to shingle the entire roof or leave part of it open to show the structure?
This table is going to be epic once fished can't wait to see it
I'm loving this Neil, been watching several of your vids, I'm trying to do similar stuff in terms of Das clay modelling as well as premade kits myself, but life just gets in the way at the minute. Your vids are keeping me going through the void till I get a chance to do some myself. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
yeah life tends to get busy and in the way at times. Glad I'm able to at least help keep you going in the mean time at anyway. Hope things can eventually slow down a bit for you. :)
@@RealTerrainHobbies yeah, I can't grumble, my sister over with her new born so my wife and I rotating shofts to get up with them while we juggle our own kids, she's heading home soon but all good really. I made a textured roller after watching your vid on it about a year ago, I made a sweet medieval keep with textured stonework, took photos outside and some people on my FB page thought it was a real place (others knew it was a model) I should really have acknowledged Real Terrain Hobbies' input to the project too 🤣🤣 love the wizards tower also. Cheers fella, and thanks again for helping to cross the (hobby) void 👍🏻👍🏻 (I'm just going back to settling this new-born here.... )
You make super content bro!Good luck with your work.
what a Great work! ! !
Its such nice terrain, I can see why the price tag is what it is. But the hours it takes to paint makes it well worth the price!
Plus all the crazy DND stuff you could pull off with this setup!
Absolute Awesome Job done
I would recomend the citidel Lahmian Medium, you can use it to make any paint a wash
Amazing!
looks so good
You did an amazing job!
Thanks very much🙂
Love to paint these structures and design in miniatures.
Nuln oil comes with 2 variants :) gloss and shade :P
the gloss one is shiny, very shiny :)
