I think I've been feeling so connected with your thoughts and points of view about very interesting topics you've talked about. I can also feel your deeper insights on this topic and what you say about a particular situation you used to face. I'm a kind of machine-predictor of key points 😂. You deserve more views and comments on your channel. I love the way you explain some uncommon things that turned out to be totally new to me. Thank you so much for your meaningful, valuable work.
Austin, Your videos are so refreshing. I have been "detoxing" my life for the past year. I don't use my phone as a habit anymore, I read, I have learned to make huge changes stick. I like that you said that we need to focus on what we can take away before we go adding a bunch of things we think we need. I have gotten to a point where I have eliminated a lot of unwanted habits, but I have failed to replace them with things I enjoy. I replaced unwanted habits with different types of work. How do I find enjoyment in things again?
I would recommend start slow, and give yourself more unstructured time. Allow yourself to be bored and you will start to find the things that you actually want to do, not the things you feel obligated to do. That's what has worked for me! Or just try things that seem fun, surround yourself with people who you can learn from
Another SOLID video. I appreciate that you not only sourced where the thoughts came from (Triggers book) but continued to call back to it. I've seen "self help" videos that present a subject as if it were their own original thought and I was like "Oh, that's from Atomic Habits". :) Anyway, great job!
Usually I come to these types of videos and conclude that I need to micromanage small things in my environment. But for some reason, today the conclusion I'm drawing instead is that I need to move to a different apartment. 💡
4:50 kind of called me out there, but I don't turn to phone because I'm bored. It's because I'm anxious that I can't socialize. There's nothing on my mind that I could say and since this is something that happens to me often, it just makes people uncomfortable with me. And that's where they start to hate me and make fun of me.
You are the most underrated UA-camr I have found. Thank you for your videos. They are at once, inspiring, informative, and entertaining.
Thank you for the kind words!
for some reason i am really happy to see that the pocket notebook is still alive
It'll make an appearance in the next video as well haha
