I fell in love with my curls yesterday. Weird, I know… but I DID. 😍😍 Lol. I cut my hair January and was dealing with the insecurity of it being short. It’s pretty long now, and the curls are doing what needs to be DONE. 💁🏽♀️😂 I LOVE IT.
it’s true!!! my hair reaches my back, yet they was out here worrying bout my braids or not doing hairstyles all the time… i didn’t go bald to stay bald… this new growth has purpose!
Man I felt every word! I make it known that I’m comfortable wearing my natural hair in whatever state it’s in and even if I’m not I still wear it. Lol and learn to love it. right now I’m wearing mini twist without extensions bc I don’t want to fall in love with the look of the length and it’s not my natural length. Social media will make you think you have to look a certain way. I lowkey look 12 but I can’t change that I have a baby face with mini twists I want healthy hair 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you for this video it is very inspiring. It's like you're speaking exactly how I feel. It's very empowering to have our own natural hair out but some days it can feel discouraging. You are definitely helping me get back to my natural hair journey. Thank you again😀
@@HoppinwithhagoHello👋🏾, hope you're doing well. I have been wearing lots of hats and wigs. At home my natural hair would be mostly in corn roll twists. Since I'm getting older I do have greys and dying it is not always the best. However I really wanted to get out of this routine. I was feeling self-conscious since I haven't had it out in so long. I didn't like having this feeling. I actually saw your hair Journey video and that gave me the push I needed. I dyed it and I have been wearing my hair out for 2 weeks now. It definitely is different but I'm loving it because it's me.😁
So many Black women put down other Black women over things regarding hair texture and skin color. A Black woman doesn't need to be told to wear a certain hairstyle to be a baddie. So a certain hair texture doesn't make a Black woman a baddie?
No babes that’s not what this video is saying. She’s basically using the word “baddie” to refer to the trend of the baddie hairstyles. Slick back ponytails, wigs etc. she’s saying that when you prioritize hair growth over looking cute you can’t wear those baddie hairstyles all the time. She’s not saying it literally she’s just using the trending term to make a point.
You’re a baddie regardless, there’s no designated “baddie styles”. You’re a baddie in your undefined fro, you’re a baddie in your bonnet, you’re a baddie with a pineapple , you’re even a baddie in your dookie braids!😂 Being THAT b’tch ain’t a look or a hairstyle, it’s a lifestyle .💓
As a white woman, I absolutely love seeing natural hair on ANY race! By that I mean no coloring, no relaxing, no weaves, wigs, etc. Nowadays you see white women running around with raggedy weave, and my Lord does it look awful....just cheap! We should love and embrace the hair that Our Heavenly Father blessed us with! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I absolutely agree, wigs have killed my hairline and then sometimes when I can’t get my wig off I just pull it I’ve even just shaved it .. and I used to have really lovely long hair and I just don’t see my hair ever coming back
This is true. If you just moisturize and leave your hair alone, it will grow. Loose twist are a plus. You don’t need to apply tension 24/7.
AMEN!!!
yesss!!! i lived off of nothing more than moisturizer the first year of cutting all my hair off & that jit worked WONDERS!!!
@@SaskiaTheBosswhat kind?
Nah. I'm a baddie because of my natural hair. Wigs aren't even that cute tbh.
@Ferrist1 yes indeed! Your energy is strong. Keep it natural❤

I thought protective styles were a thing. I'm tryna grow mine and i really find long period styles allow my hair to grow in peace
What was breaking my hair off was heat damage in high school, pregnancy, and the main killer-relaxers
You'd be an exception to the rule babes! What kind of protective styles do you wear?
This is the video many people need

Not to mention how many of them use blonde color. Blondes make up like 2-5 percent of the population but somehow they’re everywhere 😂
Why would we care what a white women loves seeing
