He's using processed, shrezded cheese. Just use the proccesed cheese slices and throw that cheese in a little more than halfway through the cooking time. But you gotta cook the chorizo and egg at the same time. That's the whole point off egg and Mexican-style chorizo.

That chorizo mixed with eggs and sometimes some re-fried beans eaten with side tortillas was my go to cheap delicious meal. Beats ramen when money is tight!

Exactly. Mexican chorizo mixed with eggs was my go-to in college after ramen. He didn't even cook all those ingredients together. That burrito is dry as hell.

@@brianguarnieri491 As someone who's never had Chipotle and doesn't know much about Mexican (or Tex-Mex?) cuisine, the rice seems so out of place in a burrito for some reason. Is it a common ingredient or just a Chipotle thing?
Phyllum Up common in American burritos. No burrito in Mexico has rice. It’s all meat. Then again, burritos aren’t too common in Mexico as people generally prefer tacos overall.
