The change from a man who looked tired and fed-up with life, to someone filled with joy . . . well, that's a miracle!
The change in his face is why I couldn't stop crying! I watched years be added to his life instantly! Like the opposite effect of being told you have a terminal disease! I am an orphan as well. Words can't describe how much I want this. But,knowing life the way I do now....I was probably very very blessed to not have known him. I probably dodged a real bullet.

I made it a mission to find my dad when I was 38 years old. I finally found him and got to spend a day with him. It was the only time I ever got to meet him as he died less than a month later, but that one meal I got to have with him will never be forgotten. I love you Dad. Wish we could have spent more time together.

I am 52. I found out through Ancestry this past September my mother's husband that was killed when she was 2 months pregnant with me is not my father. My father is alive and we have started a new journey together, a long with my new to me 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Family is everything. I hope you got everything you have been missing in an instant as I have. ❤

Okay, so his daughter said they actually often go for a vacation to Colorado, and this is the only shirt that he ever gotten from there. And this a coincidence.

Sweet but also so sad. As a child whose dad deliberately abandoned them it breaks my heart that a dad that wanted to be there didn’t get to have that opportunity. So glad he was still alive so they could still meet each other and at least have those end years.
It's so senseless. The dad found out and not only wanted to speak to him, he wanted his son to come visit him ASAP. He would have loved having a son. And now he does.

Besides my 2 grown children I don't have any close living relatives. My mother and father were only children so no aunts, uncles, or cousins. My only sibling has passed.....I would be so happy to find any relatives. I am very happy for him ❤

I know what he's feeling.
All of my immediate family are gone. My dad died at 47 when I was 16. And that's the last time I saw my only family member that I have left. He's my half brother. I know he lives in Kansas City but that's it. I have tried messaging everyone there with his name, no replie.

I never cry but this hit me hard I just Burst out crying like baby thinking I hope it won't be long till me and my boy of 13 are reunited after the mother stops poisoning him. Oh I just thought of him being that man in the future and I bust with sadness for us and tears of joy for this guy. He really transformed into a little boy full of happiness hearing the news. I feel his joy, for over years I finally found my dad with no name. Did the same thing. However, he passed away many years ago. But I'm grateful beyond that I at least have a brother and a big family and have his name. Something as a kid I never thought I would. The amount of joy, happiness and gratitude could never be expressed in words.
When he got excited he looked like a kid again. You can see the life long wound just heal and the scar that its left wanish.
