I like how Kelly isn’t afraid to tackle the unspoken questions . IE: regarding how they reacted to finding out their newest son was white. It’s so refreshing
I saw this comment before the bio dad came out, but I still was not prepared to for just how young he looked. I'm so glad he and the adoptive family have such a good relationship. These kids are going to have such a great support system.
I would worry that he would change his mind. While this story is heartwarming and the family is awesome, I prefer the idea of a closed adoption. So many horror stories of people changing their minds which would be devastating.
Beside blessing this family but i dont why this lady look like a emplear person her stlye and the father is an angle sometime people walk around without showing there wings
This is OUR Son 😭 I'm feeling very emotional. The way they communicate with everyone in their Family and with their 'Bonus Families'. 🥰 The way John held her hands and he smiled because she instantly started crying happy tears.
A black family adopting a white kid shouldn't be any weirder than a white family adopting a black kid 🤷🏻♀️ the most important thing is that the adoptive children get loving families.
When that mother was saying that the police were called and she had to show documentation that he was her son, you could hear the absolute pain in her voice. I’m so glad Princeton has found such an incredibly strong, loving family. The luckiest little boy in the world 💚
Honestly I don't understand why would someone do that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with African American parents to adopt a Caucasian baby and viceversa. All that matters is Princeton had a loving family and the stability he deserves to grow up.
Yea that honestly sucks but I can understand and appreciate the cops for doing so as kids are stolen all the time, it upsetting I know but it's important they do so.
She’s a great mom, from what I’ve seen, and this reinforces it to me. She knows a two year old is full of energy and would rather he run around a little and be happy than be miserable and forced to sit still. I don’t think Ellen would have been nearly as great about it.
This is the most organic talk show I've seen in awhile. It feels like their just at Kelly's living room and chatting. I think Princeton just walking around added alot to that
I told someone once, who said he was adopted, and actually lowered his head when he said it, I told him, "I respect kids who were adopted more than the ones who were born" and he asked why, and I said, "think about it, when a kid is born, you get whatever pops out, you don't have a choice, but when a child gets adopted, someone said, we love YOU so much, we want YOU to be a part of our family" You should have seen his face light up, the big smile that crossed his face, and the way he raised his head, he was proud.

@@Ian-dn6ld Not sure if you got to that part of the video. When the mom said that she was referencing the birth father. Many times when a child is adopted the birth parents are not involved. Many adoptions used to be closed because birth parents wanted not to be identified Then there are other cases where the birth family has been deemed unfit to care for the child. Or even the times when the adopted parents don't want to confuse the child. I know someone that had a child young, knew the adoptive parents, spent some time with the baby for years and the adoptive parent kind of asked her not to come around anymore; which is within their rights. To say this is our child means the family is open to share with the birth father.
You can see how the biological dad looks at him, he loves that boy. At times he looked like he was tearing up. He made the best decision for the baby but u can see he did not do it lightly or just so he wouldn't be bothered. That made me tear up over everything else
@Apple Pie Parents decide to place their children for adoption every day for varied reasons. Some feel they are not equipped to give the child the life they want them to have.
TalyaT922 Right but I think she’s saying it’s usually beyond money. She was saying young parents should receive more help or something and not feel pressured due to financial reasons to give their baby away to strangers. That’s just what I gathered from her comment.
@@BS-dq1kz I agree that a parent may place their child due to financial considerations, but as I said before, the reasons are varied. Even when it's financial, it's not always "we just don't make enough money", it may be " I am too young and immature to support a child right now." Some families are able to support the couple, like my 17 year old parents' family when I was born, but some are not. The young man was 17, but the birth mother might have been even younger. Also, adoption can be a hard but beautiful thing. It is bittersweet, for sure, but the hope is that it's more sweet than bitter for everyone involved.
not necessarily it is definitely a case by case situation and people change names and history of children for very important reasons. In this case tho it wasn’t an issue which is great❤
Being the child who this happened to my history was eased which was always a sore spot for me me n my adopted dad had a major falling out but i love my mother so much and my fam i grew up with
Honestly good on the bio dad for openly saying “hey, I’m not ready for a child, I’d much rather he be in the hands of better parents” and still kept in touch with the adoptive parents to ensure his son was treated well. Might be an unconventional family, but goddamn is it working well.
The family contacted him to give him opportunity to be in the life of his son which is really great of them. Without their permission he will not have anything to do with the child. He is not ensuring anything, he is not there to oversee their relationship with Princeton they are doing him a favor He did not give him a child to keep for him. That couple are the child's parents now. foster parents but
@Mj Jones I mean that’s kind of valid. My friend got pregnant with an abusive guy and she wasn’t ready for kids so she had an early abortion. She didn’t want to get tied down to him and had so many health issues money issues etc she and her child would just suffer. Add to that a stalker ex who wouldn’t leave her alone. It was just too much for her. She would’ve killed herself if she went thru with it.

When that mother was saying that the police were called and she had to show documentation that he was her son, you could hear the absolute pain in her voice. I’m so glad Princeton has found such an incredibly strong, loving family. The luckiest little boy in the world 💚
Would be nice if people only saw a happy, healthy child that's part of a family that loves him....
Honestly I don't understand why would someone do that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with African American parents to adopt a Caucasian baby and viceversa. All that matters is Princeton had a loving family and the stability he deserves to grow up.

She’s a great mom, from what I’ve seen, and this reinforces it to me. She knows a two year old is full of energy and would rather he run around a little and be happy than be miserable and forced to sit still. I don’t think Ellen would have been nearly as great about it.

Happy Go Lucky organic was fitting for his sentence
I told someone once, who said he was adopted, and actually lowered his head when he said it, I told him, "I respect kids who were adopted more than the ones who were born" and he asked why, and I said, "think about it, when a kid is born, you get whatever pops out, you don't have a choice, but when a child gets adopted, someone said, we love YOU so much, we want YOU to be a part of our family"

@@Ian-dn6ld are u dumb or r u stupid...
U obviously didn't get what she said dumb fuck..
@@Ian-dn6ld Not sure if you got to that part of the video. When the mom said that she was referencing the birth father. Many times when a child is adopted the birth parents are not involved. Many adoptions used to be closed because birth parents wanted not to be identified
Then there are other cases where the birth family has been deemed unfit to care for the child. Or even the times when the adopted parents don't want to confuse the child. I know someone that had a child young, knew the adoptive parents, spent some time with the baby for years and the adoptive parent kind of asked her not to come around anymore; which is within their rights.
To say this is our child means the family is open to share with the birth father.
sad for the biológicas dad as well
You can see how the biological dad looks at him, he loves that boy. At times he looked like he was tearing up. He made the best decision for the baby but u can see he did not do it lightly or just so he wouldn't be bothered. That made me tear up over everything else
Ree MJ: But the little boy is so lucky. God saw to it that a family filled with love is giving him a home and raising him right.
@Apple Pie "supports" like give more to parents to take care of children?
This is a healthy adoption! No one should ever adopt a child and then erase their history or birth name. The past is as important as the future!
not necessarily it is definitely a case by case situation and people change names and history of children for very important reasons. In this case tho it wasn’t an issue which is great❤
I absolutely agree to every word.❤
Being the child who this happened to my history was eased which was always a sore spot for me me n my adopted dad had a major falling out but i love my mother so much and my fam i grew up with
I think if the birth name remind them of trauma then it is better to change the birth name. But this boy was still a baby.No trauma there.
But the needs right now are most important!
