    Im stoked u got the three point five it's much smoother and better for the kind of work u do it's amazing I like it on responsive mode with long taper mags I get the effects I like amazing machine it's so soft I like the way it runs even the sound it's so satisfying bit I like the d grips the shop I work at provides the grips and Cheyenne carts I personally use this machine because of this I do own flux and avenger2 aswell as force by stigma but I always go back to unlimited

      yeah. this machine is easy to go to everyday. it's just simple and works.
      I also have many other machines. but I feel that some of them has too much options and adjustments what puts me off using them.

    I love this machine. I went from a EZ V2 pen to this. I use 3 liners more than anything else and when I used 1 liners with my EZ machine it really struggled to get in the skin. Left me with the odd slightly wonky line. This just hammers it in no trouble. Sharp as a diamond

      Good to hear! I have an EZ V2 as well, but looking to upgrade now that I have an apprenticeship and I'm no longer messing with fake skins in my free time. Thanks for your comment, I was really curious if I could get away with the V2 in a professional setting or not.

    Hi anrijs love your work !!
    I wanted to know i watched your video on the sol terra and i wanted to know how is it for 3rl shading and can you tell me more about the sensi(the two dot) mode what’s your opinion on it and how is it comperes to the sol nova unlimited 4.0 in terms of the hit etc. Thank you .

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  2 роки тому +1

      hey. sorry for late reply, didn't notice this comment. the way it performs there's not much difference. both are Sol series machines with 4mm stroke. so both hit same. both are also lightweight and comfortable to use. just depends are you looking for wireless option or not. as it goes for 3RL , all depends on you and your preference, I don't do that type of work to know and suggest what will be better. and about sensi drive , it just feels softer to the skin. I believe it will be more helpful for larger magnum soft shading/colouring

    so for dotwork i should pick the 3.5 version? because you said that 3.5 works perfectly but later that longer stroke would be better. anyway thanks for your videos they are super useful!!!

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  3 роки тому +1

      all Depends on your preferences. if you already do dots with shorter stroke then yes. I'm not a dotwork artist , both machines works really good for me. I was able to do and achieve same results with them. But I believe that 4mm will work better for dots (from what I've seen that artists who do dotwork use longer strokes most of the times)

    love the wizard you don't want to be! trying to decide on this machine, 4.0 model. Not knowing the power voltage did you find it an issue? would you say it would be fine for lining with a small group like 3's ?

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo

      I don't find it being an issue at all, I never really looked on voltage anyway. more like adjust it how it feels.

    Hi Anrijs ! How are you ? I would like to know which machine you use most between this one and the Acus after months of using ? I m still hesitating between both :p I have the impression the Acus could be more versatile and with the different strokes it’s like you buy 3 or 4 different machines ! but I’m afraid to overthink the different modes with every tattoos I have to do ahah ! And finally I don’t know why, maybe it’s the Cheyenne effect, but the Unlimited just seems good and easy to use ! I’m lost and afraid to do the wrong choice.. Anyway thank you so much for your great reviews, as always !

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Рік тому +1

      From those 2 Moslty I use this one - Cheyenne. I think Acus is better machine overall, it had lot of options/cam changing/display readouts/different modes , Autoclavable body etc. That makes that machine much more better for $.
      But it does make me overthink too. (I'm pretty sure I have mentioned that in the video too) I believe Acus is something more for people who love experiment and have time to do so. I'm really struggling with free time, so it's easier for me to use Cheyenne daily. When I wasn't so booked up I LOVED spending hours and hours on experimenting. If that was still the case Acus would be 100% option.

    • @dafa1868
      @dafa1868 Рік тому

      @@AnrijsStraumeTattoo Thank you so much for those precisions about your opinion ! I would like to ask you a last question ! If I buy the Acus and use just it like the Cheyenne, just one stroke (3.7 if I want to compare with the Unlimited 3.5), not try to much different modes etc. what do you think about the feeling during tattoo ? I know the motor is pretty the same but I know that two machines with same motor can really feel different in hand because of weight, body construction etc. I tried the Unlimited and it’s was really cool, does the Acus feel the same ? Sorry if it’s not clear and I hope I don’t to disturb you..

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Рік тому +2

      @@dafa1868 Yeah I think it's about the same. (if you would find the same mode of-course) as even 3.7 cam will still have 6 modes available. (one of them should be exactly like Chayenne) I think that Acus is little better balance too, feels lighter to use in hand. (weight / grams if it's similar, but Acus feels lighter) Battery life - about the same on both too. (maybe Acus tiny bit less) Both machines needs 1 battery swap for (6-8 hour session) Hope that helps!
      Whichever you go form, let me know in few weeks what do you think!

      yes, you will need to autoclave grips no matter how you wrap them. Unless it's disposable grip, then you can dispose it.

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo

      I personally don't think it's true. I think it runs really smooth and that's why it can feel sometimes that there's not enough power. of course hard to tell as there's no numbers on it, so maybe what I think feels like 9V is actually 11V. But I also don't do hard hitting work/bold tattoos. maybe for more traditional style it can feel that it's not enough.

    Bishop wand shader or sol nova 3.5?

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Рік тому

      all depends on what you're looking for. Both are great machines / both will do about the same type of work. I think Solnova feels faster/sharper. I like that it uses standard batteries that are easy to swap. I prefer how the voltage adjustment is on Solnova. Bishop is smaller/lighter machine, so that's a plus. It has voltage indication what could be also helpful. It's harder to get additional/disposable grips for bishop. It's not that easy to pick between 2 machines and suggest which one is better, as it all depends on personal preference. If it was my choice which one to buy for myself - I would probably go for Cheyenne. more because I'm used to their products.
