Great and informative video, my personal findings are that the roamer isn't as fast as the Pilgrim, so I build that one for speed and getting about with all the boost and engine upgrades, because it's so much fun to max boost over a ridge and jump at the same time to get crazy airtime. The Roamer I have my scanner fully upgraded. The Colossus I use as a mobile storage unit. Then I simply keep the materials (the only slightly rare one being paraffinium) for building the bays in my cargo slots and when I get to a new system that my freighter isn't in, I can just build the bay for whichever one I need and choose the right tool for the right job.
Video on the Pilgrim will definitely follow and due to it’s very limited space will be for speed only. I intend to have them all do their own thing just like you, going for a mining/storage for the Colossus as well! 😃
Btw, why not just summon your freighter and spawn your exocraft that way? I truly love how convenient that is!
@@CookingDoor Agreed, I do love that feature but my freighter is still very underpowered for its warp jump distance because I don't like to attack NPC freighters to get the salvaged frigate modules so it's a slow grind for me there. Only really applies during Nexus missions which send me all over but I've been doing a lot of them to try and get frigate modules! Haha the irony.
Just make sure you have the possibility to summon your freighter in all system types, this way you can summon it everywhere to summon your exocrafts! It’s brilliant!
But I feel you, it’s a tough long grind for all upgrades!

Update I just went for the boost and engine modules and they don’t spawn anymore
how do you refuel an exocraft? i am not sure how to do so

WHY won't anyone explain why we can NOT max out inventory slots in the exocraft or if we can, HOW do we do it?
If we could, I definitely would've explained how! But unfortunately we can't.
Why the hell am I only getting fuel usage upgrades. Like who tf needs to save carbon like that like omg I want it to go faster.
Is the Roamer the fastest exocraft?
No it's not the fastest! The Pilgrim is, followed by the Nomad.
