So.. Sun Tzu did what he writes about in the art of war... turning one's enemies onto each other. This whole battle is so deeply layered with not only lyrics and philosophy but with execution, technical and lyrical.
Honestly, I wasn't totally on board on some of your earlier ERB videos. But I can really tell you are reading these comments and making a point to educate yourself on what you're commenting on. I'm enjoying watching you improve. Keep learning more about how Pete and Lloyd create content, I think you'll gain a lot!
On a side note that doesn't involve the rap battle, studying western philosophy compared to eastern philosophy is very interesting. The east had a very collectivist focus. As long as the community thrived, the army had good leadership, and the nation was healthy, then all individuals apart of the community, army, and nation were sure to thrive. In comparison, western philosophy had a very individualistic focus. As long as the individual soldiers were loyal, the community members productive, and the families thrived, then surely the army, the community, and the nation would thrive along with them.
Glad to see another person - especially a talented rapper, apparently - get into ERB. I'm a big fan of theirs, and watching their videos you can really see them sharpening their skills over the years. There's a bunch I'd like to recommend, but I'd check out: 1) their first Darth Vader vs. Hitler rap. Probably the first real gut-puncher bar they ever wrote is included here, and if you watch all three you can watch how they improve over a few years. 2) Stevie Wonder vs. Wonder Woman. Just a solid battle, and there's some lines in there to appeal not only to comic nerds, but music nerds too. 3) Alexander the Great vs. Ivan the Terrible. Definitely in the top five of their entire career. 4) Martin Luther King Jr. vs. Gandhi/Michael Jorden vs. Muhammad Ali. Key and Peele kill their bits, man, it's great. 5) Tony Hawk vs. Wayne Gretsky. I don't know if you follow sports or not - I'm new to the channel - but there's some solid hits in there. Thanks for posting these! Good luck dealing with the Coronavirus, and I'm definitely looking forward to more! PS: Oh, and the Dr. Seuss and William Shakespeare one - not as big a fan of the battle overall, but hearing Shakespeare's flow by itself is worth checking it out.

I love these ERB vids. React to more!
If you love how the french one's flow was you'll love the Edgar Allen Poe vs Stephen King!!!!! He play Stephen King and he's fire!!!!!
The beef franks rhyme has gotta be my fave. Clever writing there.
"Keep you fat nose in your coffee" Voltaire infamously drank over 40 cups of coffee a day.
Dang
Maaaaan these reactions are quickly becoming my favorite
8:38 The out of focus made that 10x more dramatic than it needed to be XD
Awh hell yeah, keep the ERB reactions comin'!
you want to see some real battle dude? some real smoke and fire?
Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood
Lance Armstrong vs Babe Ruth
Michael Jackson vs Elvis Presley
Tony Hawk vs Wayne Gretski
Michael Jordan vs Mohammad Ali
Noobly you forget the best one, Alexander the Great v Ivan the Terrible
Jrr Tolkien VS George RR Martin
Michael Jackon and Bruce Lee ones definitely savage af
yeah, I would just put Wonder Wonder vs Stevie Wonder in the list, and that was the best list of old ERB (I mean, old, because those guys disappeared them came back when almost nobody was expecting)
@@sendouvincent8232 Yeah I just hope Scru see this list too, I really want to see he react to this battles
Bruh, you have more energy in these twelve minutes than I’ve had in the past twelve years of my life😂
I love your commentary, I was just grinning this whole time
If you loved Voltaire(French guy)'s lyrics so much, you should check out some music from the rapper who plays him, Zach Sherwin. He knows how to use English like nobody I've ever heard before.
I love how even your camera needed a sec to process that "Third Richie" Bar.
I love these reactions! You should do Romney vs Barack Obama next!
Liked. Keep dropping these, SFJ. I'll keep watching.
“I’m liking how these guys are comin” boiifyoudont
Mildo Maggins no homo
Holy shit. That's crazy. I watched your Thor vs Zeus vid and someone said to watch this one. So I go look for it and it was dropped 13min ago. Subbed
So.. Sun Tzu did what he writes about in the art of war... turning one's enemies onto each other. This whole battle is so deeply layered with not only lyrics and philosophy but with execution, technical and lyrical.
Seen all ur ERB reacts. U keep rock on’ the rap battles, bro!
It's not really a mutiny. The collective term for a group of philosophers is "argument".
My fav ERB battle ever! I'll never get tired of this!
12:07 this guy said “Nick Peters”...
anthtony t I was just about to comment this lol
LMAO
Can't wait to see your reaction to this. Video!!!
Your intro killed me 💀
PLEASE START DOING THE PRINCESS RAP BATTLES! They're just as savage! 🔥🔥🔥
I just started going through SFJ's reaction videos and I love how you comment on how great the writing for each battle is
Fun fact: fortune cookies never came from China. Fortune cookies came from United States.
Been waiting for this one
"Western medicine on this east infection" - OH BOY, that line did not age well!
How so?
@@BeautifulEarthJa Uhhh, the Chinese being blamed for the Corona outbreak?
Lmao
@@Nyrufa because they are to blame?
This is my favorite battle, great reaction!
Weird question, but are there any rappers (or even just songs) that have a style like Nietzsche does here? I could listen to that regularly.
Glad to see another person - especially a talented rapper, apparently - get into ERB. I'm a big fan of theirs, and watching their videos you can really see them sharpening their skills over the years. There's a bunch I'd like to recommend, but I'd check out:
1) their first Darth Vader vs.
"Dropping medicine on these East infections" are they talking about Covid19?
This was written 4 years ago, hence the SARS reference. The "east infections" line is likely a reference to yeast infections, a fungal infection most commonly affecting the mouth or vagina.
The East infections line was only referencing SARS. Hence why Sun Tzu responded with "but no, this isn't SARS." It has nothing to do with yeast or CoV
@@DontCallMeYourSlime I would assume the reason they said "east infections" is also because it sounds like "yeast infection." It's a double entendre. I'd be very surprised if that was unintentional.
@@DontCallMeYourSlime actually, SARS is actually quite similar to COVID-19
Im going back and rewatching any ones I forgot to hit like on. The amount of ground you gained since this video? Phenomenal fam. Love your energy. GokuVegeta hit number one on my spotify rewind 🤘
So, we bout to have another playlist to watch!!
F*ck yeah this is that I need in my quarantine!
Lloyd as Socrates gave the same wink delivering the method man reference bar as he did with William Wallace's Denzel Washington bar. I love that consistency of character as an actor even behind the characters
You the only reactor I can actually stand with the pausing 😂
Man I just started listening to your album on pandora and from what i can tell its fire
Keep up the great Vids man love your music as well!
Man i came back to see where we came from, i'm so fucking proud of you brother.
I love ERB, and your reactions are a lot of fun. Keep it up!
I love your analysis Scru
I'm glad to finally see you react to this. This is my absolute favorite ERB. ^ㅅ^
