Solidarity is an instant-speed High Tide-based combo deck that looks to untap its lands using the cards Reset and Turnabout to generate mana. After casting enough draw spells such as Meditate or Consider, we eventually use the card Brain Freeze to mill our opponent's deck.
In today's video, we're playing a brand-new card from Outlaws of Thunder Junction (MTG OTJ) - Lock and Load. By playing this card alongside Borne Upon a Wind, it allows us to cast this powerful draw spell as an instant.

702.170d A plotted card’s owner may cast it from exile without paying its mana cost during their main phase while the stack is empty during any turn after the turn in which it became plotted. Casting a spell this way follows the rules for paying alternative costs in rules 601.2b and 601.2f-h. A plotted card may be cast this way even if it doesn’t have the plot ability while in exile.

Nice card and a perfect addition to a fun deck.
I have no problems with losing the games, since I play MtG for fun.
I am definitely trying this card on a next tournament.
Regarding suggestions, I have one you most likely won't like:

Theory is that opponents will sideboard out all creature removals and sweepers and creating a couple of zombies on our turn can steal a few games.

Banger deck, love that lock and load card. At first I was thinking is quicken back but instead it's a newish card 👀 though if you wanted a 5th copy of the effect could run a 1 of quicken since after one lock and load you probably have a borne upon a wind for future lock and loads if you used quicken for it. Can also function as another 1 mana cantrip in dire situations too I suppose though not a very good one. Only weakness of impulse IMO would be daze like effects, but otherwise it is really good digging power and I do like impulse a lot.

If you plot, you can't cast as an instant even with quicken/leyline of anticipation/t3feri effects.

If lock and load was an instant that would have made me so happy. I still agree with you about it being a choice, but it's certainly a cute deck, just it needs too many pieces and falls to hand hate.

The only problem High Tide has ever had is needing to get to turn 4 before u can pop off, everything else about it is pretty redundant n gives u free access to Force of Will

This feels a lot like the Rakdos Wheels deck where you can just draw an ungodly amount of cards in a turn and win in response to your opponent. It's kinda crazy how much mana you can produce and how many cards you can draw out of thin air lol
They’re pretty different decks in my opinion and the wheels deck can’t win in response

Lock and load seems like it could work in other storm shells too, maybe with dark ritual rite of flame seething song etc, but then the colored mana might be awkward

I have no clue what I'm talking about but could you become weak to wasteland and include bubbling muck (using underground seas and undercity sewers) I mean you are a borne upon a wind deck anyway right?

I think Lock and Load is a lot easier to play online than in paper because online it's much easier to track how many cards are left in your deck.

Would the other force be good since you’re trying to win on the opponents turn?
Yes, Ive played it in the past, but the reality is there's only so many deck slots and you don't want to draw into all countermagic.
I wonder if lock and load is good enough to be in other decks! Maybe even contend with galvanic relay!

Would a single Jace be useful here as plan B? Seems easy to deck yourself for the win just drawing. I feel like it needs a plan b beyond a single zenith. Jace, brain freeze, idk something

hiya, at 10:55 I would have cast dress down on your end step, so opp couldn't vial in kaldra until their end step. Merchant scroll could hit most of the pieces besides lock and load, but it likely costs too much

My only concern is that this build just instantly loses game 1 to a maindeck chalice on 1 if you don't have FoW.

It’s the name of the deck - I didn’t name it.
It's been called solidarity since 2005, it's no worse than other deck names like trix and golden grahams that also aren't telling you what a deck is doing. Bad deck names aren't unique to old formats either, back in OG Ravnica there was a deck called solar flare that told you nothing about what the deck was trying to do they just called it that because a card in the deck looked like Krillin from DBZ.
Legacy deck names are definitely weird, and frequently don't help you figure out what the deck is unless you already know. It's just part of the format. Sometimes you don't know things about a format, and sometimes that includes what a deck name refers to. Legacy isn't alone in that, it's just the most common here.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my league playing against Mud, Nic Fit, Bomberman, and Cephalid Breakfast.
