I feel like the change in intro song is kinda like when anime openings change, at first I did not like it and missed the old one but this video when I heard it I got hyped. The guitar combined with the pictures of all your big wins makes me feel like I am about to spend time with this forbidden master of mtg.
25:00 I think MTGO brought back burn. The Legacy deck that comes with the new starter kit is burn, which maybe isn't always the most competitive, but it is straight forward.
Thanks for play testing my brew! I really like the addition of the two Archmages Charms. Cutting the third Back to Basics from the board for Dress Down is also fair. I do admit that I am a bit of a sicko for Back to Basics.
I don’t know if many people have said it but I do enjoy the ability to play a single color deck with 20ish lands but only 8 of those are basics. That’s easily something you can do in modern, vintage, and legacy but in other formats running too many non-basics tends to mean you won’t be able to cast your spells on curve. Fetch lands help with flooding without having a mana outlet so that a land isn’t a dead draw.
I haven’t seen a muxus resolve on the channel in a long time. You’re very good at stuffing goblins historically, and when you do lose to them it’s usually to go wide beats, not the 6 mana boi
My fondest hope for the future is that Insect, Rat, Spider, and/or Squirrel end up as a creature type on a meta staple so we see swarmyard as a free crime tech land. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Unrelated: Mashing this together with the Proft's Eidetic Memory deck from a few weeks ago seems interesting.
Match 1 game 3 your analysis feels like it missed the decision at 13:31 to not force the bombardiers pitching borrower, which would have left us with a threat in play and a dismember in hand instead of force + borrower vs the cavern.
Suspend lets you bounce a Delver either before or after combat without it being redeployed the same turn. That's a benefit over the other Unsummon variants. Bouncing a thing forces you to choose before or after combat, meaning it might be redeployed that same turn, forcing you to take damage first and then end step remove it. Suspend does not have that problem. The card is underplayed. Also, a Suspended Murktide comes back as a 3/3. Your opponent will have rather you actually bounced it, I swear.
i feel like if they have cavern and traitors, most of the time it seems right to attack the cavern. i dont think ive seen many interactions that long term favor attacking traitors
5:15 - given that they tapped Ring immediately, any consideration to bouncing Ring in response to the activation? They don't have the 4th permanent mana source to recast it. And yeah, Chalice sucks, but I'm not sure if a delver and ponder beats Ring. We might have to hope their deck doesn't deliver on mana for a few turns and 3/1 flying beats is good enough. They've already hurt themselves a bunch and have Tomb in play.
Can you make a small video or post about your ingame settings? I was trying to get into MTGO from playing Arena but it's quite abit harder then I thought...

how much does it cost for a deck suggestion, i really wanna suggest eldrazi in legacy as the new leaks such the colourless counterspell make it look playable
Im just no getting into Legacy. I previously played Pauper and Premodern and I have the Mono U Delver/Terror Serpent and Faerie paupwr decks. What would be a good jump in lost for Mono U Delver? Id use most of the pauper list and slowly upgrade it, but need a baseline for it to be somewhat competitive and fun.
@@BoshNRoll is there an ok substitute for FoW? I have Pauper Ninjas and Mono U terror, but PreModern hasn't been launching as much anymore and Legacy looks fun.
Wait. I think you think you spewed but i don't think you did. You're at 3 they're at 9, you have a 9/9 and a 7/3. Yes the 9/9 forces a chump, but if you attack them to 2 with the duelist, the beast kills you. You can hydro to cantrip and add 1 damage, but then you're hellbent on the loot and out of gas. I think you played it perfectly. What did i miss

Four fetches in a deck with six brainstorm effects seems a curious choice.
There are also 4 Ponder and 2 Lorien Revealed, but yes, especially with 8 basic islands.
You were right that I've never seen Eris, Roar of the Storm before, but damn I'm glad I've seen it now. That artwork is sick.
Mono Blue Delver needs chill in the sideboard to fight all these goblin decks.

Glad the audio problem was fixed, but the jump in volume from round 1 to 2 made me jump!
I know its a mono blue deck but the surveil lands are soo good it might still be worth putting 1 in and an extra fetch or so.

Yes, Suspend lets them get the recast for free. These are tempo removal spells. None of them gets rid of the thing for good. Tradeoffs.

Not all the time in all formats. I did like Duelist better in this deck though.

Duelist has vigilance, so the attack was completely free
