- As I leave Breckenridge and began climbing over the Ten Mile range for views of both Breck and Copper Mountain from above the tree line, I run into Levi "Square Feet". This fortunate encounter gave me a hiking buddy for the long trip to Twin Lakes, my next resupply stop and my first zero. With Levi's company, the next 5 days flew by.
We also ran into Sage on our way towards Kokomo Pass, and enjoyed a few hours hiking with another friend, whom I was able to share a beer or two with later on the adventure.
With beautiful views, good company and exciting weather... this was another amazing week on the Colorado Trail.

Enjoying the videos and reliving the trail. Nice work on the videos
Thanks 👍
Nice!!!
Amazing brother, what an adventure. Truly in one of the most beautiful ranges in the 🇺🇸. Have a safe trip back to Arizona.
You said it! It felt like being in another country at times, especially above the tree-line. Absolutely stunning scenery I won’t soon forget!
Thanks for sharing. 😊
Such pretty trails! (Trying to catch up)!
Moonjuice has good tunes. Great video, thanks.
Nice! We heard those coyotes a couple nights as well, though they definitely sounded closer to you. Also stayed in the not so great cabins as well. Waiting for part 3!
Love it! Man I miss the trail!
Glad we’ve got this video to keep the memories fresh!
The most true thing ever said: "It was just a Coors Light, not really a beer."
Right?!?! Lol
Enjoyed watching!
Thanks for sharing your CT adventure.🙌
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned… much more to come!
You know these vids are gonna be good when the music is from Pink Floyd and Guns N Roses!
Nice hiking!!!
7 was one of the hardest segments for me. I cried right before the high point of that one. I thought for sure I would die there. Finally gathered up my strength and made it to the top and sat for a few and took in the beauty. I didn't get to the bottom until sunset. There are a few segments with hard climbs, but for me, none harder than 7.
Oh yeah, definitely a grueling day!!
@@MoonJuiceHikes I am so relieved when people confirm I am not a whimp 😄
Flexing the comedy muscles on this one 😂
Oh that’s just B game… the A game material comes later. 😂
Well done Agent MoonJuice 😂
Lol! Thanks Robert. Detective Juice, out.
Hi MoonJuice! Is was a smart decision on your part to shave your head prior to being in the outdoors for an extended period of time. I hope to see you climbing a difficult 14er in an upcoming video!
Hey PW! Idon’t want to give anything away, but the sunrise on San Luis peak was a definite highlight of the entire trip!
Loving your videos. Such pleasant weather so far! What was your start date?
Thank you! I really lucked out with the weather - was expecting rain every afternoon. My start date was June 24th. Took me 28 days, with 2 zeros.
Not going to lie, but you saw hippie structures out in the middle of the woods. You probably came across a Sasquatch Structure
When I was in 19th Special Forces Group in the early ‘90’s we used to conduct winter warfare training at Camp Hale.
Was that donut shop in breck Daylight donuts?
That’s the one!
you're not you when you're high man.
I did the BW at night 😂 good thing I didn't see anything 😂😂😂
😅I think she’s a changed person at this point. Got her own trail… making “sorry I killed you” stickers…. she’s busy with her Shopify store! Lol
