I am originally from the UK, but in my younger days, I had the opportunity to travel to various destinations around the world. I even had the privilege of residing in the USA for a period of five years. However, everything changed when I met my wife, who happens to be Turkish. For the past twenty years, Turkey has been our cherished home, so it's natural that I may be a little biased 😊.
From the very first day I set foot in Turkey over two decades ago, I have continuously been awestruck by the Turkish hospitality, the genuine kindness of its people, and their inclination to embrace others with open hearts. They take immense pride in their country, culture, and traditions, constantly striving to present themselves as good ambassadors. Of course, like any country, Turkey is not without its flaws, and there may be some individuals who don't embody the best qualities. However, it was about fifteen years ago that I decided to acquire Turkish citizenship. While this act does not magically transform me into a true Turkish individual, I can confidently say that my wife, her family, and the Turkish people as a whole have played a significant role in shaping me into a better person. I am eternally grateful for everything Turkey has given me.🇹🇷
We discovered 🇹🇷 11 years ago and have been coming here constantly ever since! I find it fits my personality well despite being American. I like the reasonable personalities of Turks, the beautiful landscapes among other things. I would say this is my soul country!

Me too! Because it takes me back to my time in the Air Force. I lived off base and absolutely loved my Kapegi Dulmus Karsli and his family: Sekine, Omar, Meliha, .Mehmet, Tekin, etc. (Please excuse the spellings.) Everywhere I went the people were so great.

Imi vine sa plang cand vorbiti despre Turcia si despre oamenii frumosi de aici! Iubesc Turcia si in fiecare an imi petrec cel putin 15 zile aici, chiar si 25 de zile am stat in Turcia in vacante, merg chiar si de 3 ori pe an cu autoturismul desi drumul din Romania prin Bulgaria nu este unul prea cofortabil, doar pentru a inspira aerul de acolo! Va apreciez foarte mult pentru ceea ce faceti pentru ca am aceleasi simtiri pe care le aveti si voi! Va iubesc dragilor, cum iubesc si Turcia ..foarte mult!💙🧡❤

I just love the cosiness of Turkish beaches! Everywhere else is crazy while in Dalyan, Kas, Manavgat etc it is like time stops, so relaxing while even watching.
You have made so many good friends on your journey so far. All your good will towards the Turkish people have come back to you both ten fold.I feel like they have given you both a great big hug in appreciation.
What an emotional rollercoaster, I was crying with tears of joy when you returned to Turkey, what a reunion that was, yes what fond memories you guys built in Turkey, it truly is a special place in your hearts. In November 2019 my professor and I had an opportunity to fly Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Chicago in Business Class and loved the food and hospitality. Staying in Istanbul for four days was an amazing cultural experience!

Enjoy your time in England, the country I call my second home since not only I lived there for years I also have been there many many times and traveled all over the country and saw many wonderful plays in London and translated some of them into Turkish.

I am planning on going to Turkey Istanbul and Cappadocia in July, you both have inspired me. Great vlog, surprisingly to see a cat travelling with its owners in a car must try that with mine 🐈 😅
Do not go to Istanbul. People there have become incredibly aggressive due to the current economic crisis and illegal immigration. Cities like izmir and antalya are much more beautiful.
It is true, but to be fair people in big cities at western side was always tense. More rural it is, more welcoming people are.
