Love you guys! We are currently doing this same thing in West v. Our offer is in today, on 72 rolling acres of mixed cover with an older house on it. Fingers crossed here. Y'all are inspirational!
Absolutely agree with you and with restrictions finally calming down in the UK I was ready to go out and work hard to be able to build my dream. But doctors had a different route for me. Just got blood results back showing I have type 2 diabetes and anemia. And if that was not enough they also want to send me to specialist for cancer test. Many would think life is cruel and see it as another roadblock but I firmly believe a positive mindset will get me through this. Save a prayer for me.
@@SheratonParkFarms Thank you and bless you. Your videos give me so much joy. Looking forward to follow your journey! All we need to remember in hard times is that GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest warriors. This may all be for a reason.

You had me with the creek and well :) I just retired early and my search for my home in western NC as been on since last november and its difficult buying from out of state (Alabama)
Great video. Really enjoyed exploring with you. So many possibilities . Can't wait to see how you get your pigs set up. Thanks for sharing you adventure !
Subscribed. It’s great to find you here! My wife and I are under contract on a nice acreage in Spring Hope. We are researching now what to do with our land. We appreciate your vids! God Bless.
Wonderful place, congratulations on the new purchase. Looking forward to all new upgrades you have in store for us. Look forward to seeing the house when the former tenants move out.
There are actually 2 right there together. Not sure if there are any more on the property. I’ll keep my eyes peeled. Be glad to show them in some videos. Thanks for watching!
Nc mountains are so beautiful my grandparents are from Avery county i hope to find me a spot there later in life congratulations to y’all on such a nice place to call yours
I have learned to love polyline I have somewhat the same issue you do about water have it just need to run it. I think the pigs will love the areas that you have chosen I just love all the green plants and pastors on your property I'm in the desert and there is very little green
Now that I watched the entire way through, you are right about being self sufficient, things just keep going up in prices, employers are having to pay a lot of money to start people out because it's the only way people will work these days and it's not sustainable, eventually it's going to crash and being self sufficient will save a lot of people
So? how do you like it now? 3 years in? You've done well for yourselves and we r very proud and happy for you both. Moving those boxes? yeahhh... I'm truly lazy - I'd back that truck up to that building and off loaded straight from trailer but then that's just me. BTW... no, I'm not jealous - not one bit.... ok, that's lies! I could b very jealous and so happy for ya! Prayers for you both!
Took me the ride to work one bathroom break and the ride to lunch to watch this whole video🤣. We know how you feel!! We went from 2 to 40 acres! It’s great to see you guys happy!!
Nice place you have, we're looking forward to seeing this come together. A couple of things I thought about... I think you could just energize the bottom 1 (or 2) wires for your purposes right now... also you should find out who's using that creek down stream and for what, and figure that in to your calculus. Good stuff! Happy for you!
This place is awesome. I will definitely be watching for updates. This is exciting. I just subscribed so I didn’t catch what part of the country your farm is and how many acres?
Very nice looking property. Be able to raise lots and lots of animals. And is your new house a trailer? If so hopefully it has either central air or some air conditioners because I live in a trailer and these places get hot hot hot. But I love them because less time spent cleaning inside means more time to spend outside doing things. I am looking at some land in southern Virginia, I told my wife I would rather get a loan and buy some property pay it off in 3 years then get another loan and have a trailer put on and in 6 years total have it all paid off. But where I am looking the employment is not there. Congrats on the new farm. Looking forward to seeing lots of videos.
Thanks. Yes it is a trailer with central heat and air. The current owners only used this as a weekend spot so it looks brand new. We were much more concerned about the property as opposed to the house. It’s kinda small but you are right, quick to clean 😆. Good luck on your search.
It'd be nice to know how many acres you got there versus the layout, that last area is ideal for pigs with the shoot being there the way it is. Of course that's kind of good for cattle too. !
Hello chuck I live has far west in nc. West of Murphy NC what county did youall move to. I need a good source for some pigs if it’s not to far. We really enjoy your videos.
Hey Ronnie. We are up in Wilkes. About as far away and still be in the mountains of North Carolina as possible. Thanks for watching. Be glad to help you out if we aren’t too far away.

Why don’t you eventually run some frost free Spicket‘s out in the fields eventually Wouldnt take to much you have a machine to dig trenches and run lines

I ran 720 feet of 1/2 PVC on our place a few weekends ago. Lots of work but will be worth it in the end
Nice. Gotta get that water passed around. Great investment
You could use a ram pump to bring water from the spring or creek, use that to fill a couple of those huge plastic containers, no power needed.
I’ve always wanted to build one of those. Perfect opportunity to try one out!
Beautiful property; can't wait to see what ya'll do with it. Congratulations!

what you yall going to raise
Going to keep raising everything we are now (pigs, chickens, turkeys) and hoping to add some cattle.
How quickly do you move your paddocks on a level area where your not worried about erosion?
Here in ms the agricultural people with come dig u a pond for free for farm animals
