Today is my first time watching both NOW fishing and Outdoor. Lucky me I discovered them side by side, and lucky for clicking on a video with both of them in it. I have good memories of limiting out on razor clams as a kid on the Long Beach peninsula in Washington. I'd definitely like to get back out there sometime soon.

Hope you loved WA! Future reference for clamming, never push your clam gun straight down. You will almost crack them everytime. Face the water and dig in diagonal direction. Love your vids!

i live on the LongBeach peninsula & clamming is an absolute Blast. i like to use the "clam gun" just to get the top sand off then reach down in the hole and grab 'em by hand. current toxicity levels have CxL'd clamming till Dec.
I'm from New England & I lovveee New England clam chowder, BUT this just made my mouth water!!! I bet it was fantastic😍🤤

Go closer to the receding water, look for big dimples for bigger clams, twist the clam gun left and right while pushing down so it goes down easier and faster so the razor clam has less time to dig down. Plug air hole on gun and pull with your legs. Always check where you are reference to the shore, lights, cars, etc. Cheers!
