Sadly, the last great game my uncle Ickey Woods played in the NFL. Got up EARLY to watch this at my grandparents and was so psyched they had won, I didn't even bother with the Bears/49ers game later on. Had no idea the arc of his career would veer off against Pittsburgh just 1 1/4 regular season games later.
I just moved to Cincinnati in January of '89 when this game happened, I was 6 yrs old & your uncle Ickey had the city on 🔥we loved Ickey & looked up to him as kids.

This wasn't really one of the better ones but luckily that year the SB was actually pretty great except it went the wrong way for the Bengals. This weekend is going to be AWESOME. I really hope the love between Buffalo and Cincy fans can continue but I know it probably won't. Our fanbases really built up a true friendly rivalry. GO BILLS!
