Woke up early with wife and daughter to watch it as soon as it was released. Wife thought I was hilarious and my daughter loved it. Great editing Ronny. Thank you.
@kenshin-1 what a truck ! I really learnt alot from this episode. Can you provide more detail on your rear wheel Maxtrax/shovel mount please, who made it ?? This is exactly what I've been looking for.
@@dirkmatthiesen1038 my friend fabricate it for me. it was a custom job. its a triangle welded on to a plate bolted to the wheel. then a plate with where the trax we can bolt the maxtrax mounting screw can fit on, then 2 extension plate to bolt the yakima shovel holder on. its very simple but does the job very well.

This guy has got it spot on. He knew what he wanted to achieve for his lifestyle and bought a car that most suited those needs. No need for gvm upgrades and chassis extensions, just the right platform as a base and creature comforts from there. 👍
Any wonder this guy is so happy, lol way to go! There's a shipload of cash tied up in this impressive vehicle, all credit to him being able to take his home on wheels wherever he wants to go in style and comfort too. Living the dream!
Nice video. This man knows what he wants, what spec he needs and has worked out how to use it all in the most practical manner. Plus he is still enjoying himself. Thank you both.
Perfect camper setup if you enjoy having a crap within arm's reach of the kitchen, without leaving the dinette table and with the added convenience of being right next to your bed.
The owner is refreshing - its okay to want all the electricity and water you want when its your time off. Good sheets and temp control when you want it is great too.
I appreciate you call it a hotel on wheels. I live in the most outdoorsy place in the US and people just don't need the 4x4 - but this thing is huuge and 4x4 if u need it, but huuge - which is what distinguishes it to me
Great Episode! That guy is awesome too. It cracked me up when first thing he mentioned was the Rice Cooker (I am asian too) it was all laughs from then on.
here in italy Daily 4x4 dinasty is considered legendary since mid 80's... and well, for us 3.0 liter 4 cyilinder engine it's huge, anyway since almost 20 years one of the best reliable powerful engine IVECO build for small truck...
Reliable? What about the well documented transfer case and brake issues? Hope they’ve fixed them in the latest version - iveco dealers have said yes, hope that’s the case.
@@Expedition_Tranquilo it's a new gen of automatic gearbox from ZF, this is the main issue with modern global economy, when you put in stuff that comes also from other builders, even with a solid reputation could happen. Anyway, Daily it's an ultra reliable small truck since decades and generation, not days.
I saw this truck on the side of the road heading north on the Princess Highway just north of Albion Park. I thought it was a very cool vehicle. This is my future camper. That was yesterday Friday 24 February 2023.
Haha 🎉 I love this guy his a funny one, reminds me of a friend I know actually, but he seems to know his stuff and knows what he (and his family) wants when they are away… great setup.
Absolutely brilliantly practical setup. Critics are just envious mate! Why upgrade utes to run heavier and bigger when you can get commercial grade light to medium duty trucks that do that kind of work effortlessly, everyday without mods?
Hi Ronny & Crew Great episode enjoyed it laughed heaps. This Gentleman was very cool smart ( Happy Wife Happy Life ) Fantastic show just awesome love the Iveco
Good luck to him. It is a well built and thought setup. But, I’ve dealt with a lot of people who own them. Everybody has the same opinion of them - an incredibly capable vehicle that is completely unreliable. It’s such a shame, because when they work, they are seriously impressive
That’s the feedback from many, particularly issues with transfer cases - which if I recall correctly is why the one in central oz got stuck - and the brakes. Love the iveco’s capability however we want to travel the world. No thanks, we’re going either unimog or artego.
hey Ronnie great ep mate, just a point of criticism i found the vid over edited and it came through as the conversations were very rushed. Keep up the great work!
Really nice build! It looks identical to the Earth Cruiser EXP except he used an Iveco cabin instead of a Mitsubishi or Isuzu... and he has a 5000w inverter lol.
Good spirited video. I want one. (17 liters) / (100 k) = 13.836152 Miles per gallon (For us in the States) I know of Benz Sprinter vans fitted out with just the basics, gas engine 11 mpg, so this is pretty good.
I'm looking at a set up with Patrol Y62 93K and a caravan 70K or so. Not much change from 160K. Things get expensive quickly if I need to accesorize after that.
I think its awesome. if you can afford it why not? Also if it gets his wife and kid out there with him ALL TH BETTER. My best camping experiences are with my family.
Nice truck, is this the latest version of the Daily? The previous version was notorious for poor reliability, particularly with the transfer case and brakes. Iveco dealers have said these are fixed, I’d love this to be the case as it would be ideal for our expedition vehicle, but still to be convinced. We’re favouring the unimog or artego, bigger than we need but at least assured of being reliable. Having sailed the seas and far from help, reliability is everything.
When the option is this or drag a van I agree with this bloke. I'll stick with camper and boat though, I don't need air fryer, rice cooker, ac or induction.
