I like to view full content, and what Samsung, Apple, LG etc. do with those rounded corner is just plain stupid because it leads to cut content. I hope that trend dies out soon.

But viewing full content? You are seeing full content in a Samsung S8/+. No one puts something on there and you dont lose any screen estate really. Never had any problems with it.

Oneplus 5T will probably have best battery (maybe less than OP5) but bigger mAh doesn't always mean bigger battery life. You should do a battery life test with other top end smartphone

Phone is still buttery smooth even in 2020. A week ago got android 10 update aswell. Never had any problems till now. How cool is that?? One plus is awesome. Waiting for Oneplus 8 pro to go on sale in India for an upgrade after almost 3 years. Meanwhile 5t will serve my sister for another 3 years probably..😆😆
My 5T arrived yesterday (actually drove 20 km to the post shop after work cause I couldn’t wait another day) and I‘m super happy with it! I was a bit worried about the diamond pentile matrix since I‘m sensitive to it (hated it on my Tab S 8.4 and Note 3 back then) but thankfully it‘s far less noticeable on the 5T. It‘s incredibly snappy, even when you’re used to an iPhone. Just waiting for my dbrand skins as I hate cases.

oneplus 5T , if you want reliable performance and good camera performance or pick razor's device if you game a lot ,that 120hz display will not disappoint you!
The Razer phone seems gimmicky with the 120 htz screen, but that's not to say the 5t isn't following the bezel less gimmick. Personally the Razer phone isn't so worth it considering not much mobile media would support the 120 htz screen. I prefer OnePlus, but that's because it's exactly what I want in a phone. It depends on your preference in the end, but my vote is for the 5T
It's weird to see major phone manufacturers hopping on the face/iris scan bandwagon 2 years after Fujitsu first introduced it. When I was visiting family in Japan back in late 2015 my loaner phone was the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G and it was one of THE best android phones I have ever used. I think they called it the Iris passport or something, but their iris scanner worked so well. I wish I could get it to work in the states.
Finally someone talks about battery. Thats my only concern. I am using OP5 and i am happy with the stamina. But i am not sure how taxing the screen size and resolution would be on the battery of 5T.

Agree about the ridiculous 18.9 aspect ratio, I chose the only near bezel-less phone that fitted a 16.9 on, like we all expected bezel-less to be. The Mate 10 is nigh on perfect, even managed a faster front mounted fingerprint scanner than Oneplus and it’s slightly shorter than the Oneplus 5.
Engadget reported that after a few days of use that the battery life was very close to the same as the OnePlus 5.. basically unnoticeable. I'd say that's pretty good and when you pair that with Dash Charge, you've got a solid option here.
I’ve been waiting for bezel-less phones for years. All they need is to finalise the fingerprint in the display and I’ll be happy 😊😊 which I think will be next year
I'm keeping my OnePlus 5. The specs are the same. I have no problems with the camera in my opinion. Though it do needs an upgrade in the software. I'm not bothered by the display because I prefer front screen fingerprint.

I've got the Pixel 2 Xl in my cart now.. But man I can't deny that this has me intrigued. How do you think the camera compares to the pixel 2? The Pixel is SUPER sharp! I take a ton of photos and video with my phone. A solid front camera is a must. My wife and I both need new phones, but $2k for two phones is a bit hard to swallow. However two OP5T's is very doable.
Please, look at the camera details when you zoom a picture, after you took it. My OnePlus5 shows me they went with a very aggressive noise removal algorithm that smudges fine details, and I think this can be fixed in software if they want to (maybe leave the noise-correction level as a configuration by the user?)
The OP5T looks and feels super premium for the $500. Anyone thinking of picking one up? Thanks for watching!
