Great video as always. I can’t seem to understand however why people keep complaining about the price of the X since Apple offers cheaper alternatives that are just as good. It’s a premium product...that’s all it is. Don’t hate it because it’s pricey

I really enjoy how laid back your videos are. Most UA-camrs seem to be shouting at us and trying to overhype everything. These videos are so relaxing by comparison.

Oneplus are playing the game absolutely perfectly. No performance issues, beautiful phones, amazing hardware and software. Cameras are amazing. Pricing is very cheap. Nothing wrong...

Great performence, camera is okay, cheap, does everything its created to do perfectly.
oneplus 3t user here, absolutely hate the software on the oneplus. it is extremely buggy and at times, slow to the point of unusable.

It's a fact that iphone these days copied Samsung, even if initially ridiculed as gimmick. If not for Samsung's bold move, we would not have big 5+ inch screen, amoled, face unlock, waterproof, round-cornered display, bezelles and wireless charging. Thanks samsung for real innovation

Bezell less is not a samsung creation.. Who created the bezell less was sharp, but it did not popularize, and that was forgotten over time .. but then came the xiaomi with the Mi Mix, and created the smartphone without borders, and from there, all companies began to copy Xiaomi.
if not for Apple to start the phone revolution back in 2007 with the iPhone that has a familiar face, because no phone literally looked like the iPhone back then, we wouldn’t have phones. I’m not an apple fan whatsoever because their iPhones are overpriced, but Apple and Samsung both innovate. Apple hasn’t done it in a while, and Samsung has done it recently. Imagine if the iPhone never came out in 2007. Would smartphones probably be the same?
Darryl :D Why not? Someone has already figured out how to make touch screen phone but Apple was the first to launch it. There are already windows ce and pda at that time.

Well I feel so sorry for SONY. Sony Mobile were like the best. Best camera best audio, awesome built quality and elegant superb look. I don't know what happened to SONY

Kudos for sounding so true in suggesting. A price tag that's more or less affordable, headphone jack, not-great-but-good camera, dash charging facility, screen that looks fabulous, and almost stock android; all these make OP5T my favorite phone as well. Thanks for this video, Dave!

SO basically these phones are all good, but the 1+ 5T wins because it's the most cost effective and the others cost more because of features we don't necessarily need.
Woooo watched it on my OnePlus 5T! The battery life on this phone is incredible. I get 7+ hours of screen on time and don't even charge it overnight. I wake up in the morning, pop in dash charging while I shower and eat breakfast, and I'm good to go! It's also super fast and clean in software!

I came here to this video to see the massive haul of phones you have. I'm planning on buying one of these for. My first ever phone. My price range is 1000$, and I'm considering buying the OnePlus 5t. If my choice is correct and an amazing pick for my first, please reply that it is. If it isn't, reply what you think would be a great pick. Also, iPhones are not included.
Update: I settled for the Note 8 because of its screen size and the camera. Also the intense power this thing has is more than enough than what you want.

Got the red 5T and Iove it. Great phone, AMAZING battery life! I get like 8 hours SoT with this phone, it's insane. Also, OxygenOS is really good imo, way better than other roms like touchwiz and LG's skin. You actually get more value than your paid for imo. Even the camera is surprisingly decent.
If they start making phones become $1000 I'm just going to have to wait until whenever it's Black Friday to get a new phone

They are just doing everything that Apple does. From removing of the headphone jack to Pixel Buds (which btw are extremely ugly).
Akhil Trivedi The Pixel’s were basically intended to be Google’s take on the Apple iPhone, just within the Android ecosystem. They have succeeded in doing so. I just find it funny how Android fanboys seem to ignore the fact that Google has copied Apple’s business practices (no headphone jack, substantial price increase etc.) and yet they go about it like Apple are the only ones doing those things.
PHXNTXM yeah I hate that too. Tho I am an android guy, I always call the pixel an android iphone…

Funny thing is, i settled with the oneplus 5T even after buying the oneplus 5. I just gave the OP5 to my wife.
She is happy with the 5 and i know that if i need to call her she has enough battery and a good reception. These points are important to me when i think about her smartphone.
For me, it's the sheer performance, the elegance, the minimalistic design, the quality, the features "jack" and the awesome price that made me buy the 5T
Keep those videos coming man, i will always drop a like and support as much as i can.

I love your views on how a specific phone, despite the specs, may be a better choice for each consumer. I'm rocking the Droid turbo 2 and thought not the greatest specs, it works very well for me. Thanks for your work and keep up the good work!!!!

Dr. HavocX sony are not even fucking trying, I remember the only good phone they made at the time was z2. but they kept making the same z2 and the market moved on without them. i know apple does the same thing but the android game is tougher

Having owned a few of these my favourite one surprisingly to me was the Essential Phone. I think its the best design, has the nicest build by far and since the updates it finally works how it was intended. I still much prefer the screen on my S8+ but I can't deny that feel when I grab the Essential. If you've only ever watched videos, try one, they are super cheap now at $499 and it really does make the iPhone feel less classy. Lets just hope they get OLED screens for the next model.
Absolutely agree with ur choice of the best phone in 2017! I was an iPhone user for years and Oneplus 5t changed everything for me. Such a great value for the money paid .

Well, your opinions are always so down to earth and that's appreciated. Most reviewers ignore price, for instance, and that's part of the deal so yeah. iPhone X makes no sense at that price, as good as it is.

Great work Dave. Not only do you offer great reviews but i love that u still view price as a key factor influencing purchasing decisions sth which seems to have been forgotten by most reviewers. Currently using s7 edge and planning to upgrade, if s9+ will be 950 will go for the 5t, could even get 2
Literally LMFAO cz dbranding the phones for a thumbnails.. but hey! the red heart thumbnail from a cyan loving guy does attract a lot of attraction. I think the dbranding was worth it.. They are awesome and so are YOU!!! Keepup the good work mate!

Got the LG V30 and man they really stepped up its game, the camera is pretty similar to the OP5T but I hope it gets a software upgrade when it goes to Android Nuagat, Don't mind the lg skin tbh but I can understand where people don't like it, great vid as always!
