I think this is a good example of how to make Star Wars a connected franchise. Instead of making reading required to understand a character they bring in a character to serve a certain role and have the background reading be optional.
thats how star wars really was from the beginning they dont tell you how the moisture farms work or how the droids were invented in a new hope, Lucas throws you into the world and only explains when necessary or genuinely rewarding, and in an entertaining manner lightsaber - an elegant weapon from a far more civilized age hyperspace and the calculations is han yelling at luke, not a bland explaination

I liked the content, but the execution didn't quite stick with me. The swoop gang that Boba Fett hired on is a nice idea, but they do kind of standout a little too much. And the speeder chase was just so-so. The wiping out of the Tusken village felt a bit cheap too. It was alright, but nothing really caught me by surprise.
It’s just my opinion, I like the slow burn approach and way it’s filmed. Great action scenes to. If you think this was worse than the steaming pile of crap that is the sequel trilogy, I want what your smoking. Actually maybe not.
This absolutely unit forced himself to get captured by a single slaver he left alive.. put himself in a position to get imprisoned and won all his fights in the arena.. not only that he met and fought iconic heros and met some well known villians.. what a character to have seen and do so much.. I feel like even though John Favreau is writing good episodes, Robert seems to override some decisions (as Executive Producer) to put in the shield fight scene in the 1st episode, and the slow chase and Krrsantan deciding to pick up a vulnerable Boba instead of blasting him in the face of episode 3. Why didn't they just write in an alarm tipping off Boba to narrowly miss a Krrsantan attack? If they fixed those few things it wouldve gone down better.

I have a personal theory regarding why Black Krrsantan just straight killed Boba on the spot is that the twins ordered Krrsantan to rough Boba up so they can use this as a way to use Boba into aiming at the Mayor and after smoke settles they will clean up whatever is left
The hutts could easily handle the mayor, he isn't a crime boss or really dangerous in any way if the huts try and control Mos Espa and tattoine they'd have to fight Boba, the Tuskens and the Pikes

Also why is it that Boba seems like he doesn't know Black Krrsantan?! I mean he even says take it from an ex bounty hunter don't work for assholes, he also says no hard feelings. What makes no sense is that they've worked together many times before they know each other he knows Boba Fett used to be a bounty hunter that's why the line really made no sense...
