@@sloppyphart7879 I just think and believe that each Anakin/Vader is different like each one from the comics shows and movies like this Anakin/Vader is always wanting to kill Jedi but the one in the movies isn’t quite that obsessed with it and I almost forgot about the previous comment I posted
@@michaelverdon7252 By the time we see Vader in the movies (Rogue One and episode IV, V & VII), all of the Jedi & Maul at that time were long gone, and the inquisitors all either dead or dissolved into undercover spies for Palpatine. Only Obi Wan, Yoda, and Luke remained. Obi Wan was of course gone in Ep IV, and only Luke knew that Yoda was still living, no one had heard a whisper from him since his failed attempt on Palpatine's life at the same time as order 66. Kanan Jarus was dead, and Ezra still missing, Ahsoka apparently also was quiet at that time too. Even though Vader knew she was still alive, I don't think he could bring himself to ever go after his old padawan. She had never hurt or injured him to the extent Obi Wan did, she left the Jedi on her own will, so there was no obsession over finding and killing her. So his obsession turned to crushing the Rebel alliance and then to Luke once he found out he had a son. Vader had to be obsessed about something. It kept him from thinking of Padme and all he lost of his old life. He would never be content to just run an empire and the mundane tasks involved with that.
Yoda that was when he was first called Darth Vader, but as I see, he was only fully Vader when he “killed” his old self, as Kenobi describes on Return of the Jedi. He only did that when Padme died. While she was alive, he still had ties to his past, even though he was changed. Also, Vader was seen as “more machine than man”. Anakin was far from that both literally and figuratively when he fought Obi-Wan on Mustafar. If you want an aditional source, there is a comic where Vader has a vision where he is back to the moment of Anakin’s defeat on Mustafar. Vader fight and kills Anakin in this vision, showing that he was still not Vader on that moment. But of course, that comic is canon while this one from the video is Legends. Not very good for a comparison.
I don't Think loosing a Fight is the same as Failure in this context. In that case, its not really your fault, even if the Fight was lost due to carless mistakes, as it was a Fight. But in this case, he was told to defend a Factory, and left it, and it was destroyed. There is a big difference.
Vader comics are so good... Wish they'd make an animated series on Vader. Alot of people don't know how conflicted with regret and pain he was right after episode 3. Darth Vader's story has never really been told. Anakin's story was told in the prequels and Luke's was told in the original. We need a Vader series man
Yeah, also Disney did a fantastic job with Mandolorian, book of Boba, and obi Wan. Yes they completely ruined the main story of star wars (I liked them, but unfortunately they're just not that good. Legends is like George giving authors the freedom and direction to write whatever interesting, different ideas or approaches they had for the story, characters, factions, ships, planets and aliens they had in mind to create. Sounds like Palpatine has at least been portrayed to be more of a teacher than the evil man he’s made out to be. By leaving Vader there, he gave him time to learn from his mistakes. The real villian here is Vader, letting his anger and hate completely cloud his judgement. He needed to learn that either you control hate and anger, and use it as a weapon of energy, or it will control you and use you as its own weapon instead.
It's called Pragmatic Villainy. you have to know when it's best ot cut your losses and act like a decent person in order to fulfil the greater evil plan.

The first time Darth Vader failed Palpatine was when he lost to Obi-Wan.
Palpatine and Vader consider that Anakin's failure more than Vader's, that he was, in that moment, Anakin more than anything.
@@pubcle source? Because Anakin was fully Vader once he fucked up Windu
@@drlecter2077 Hm confusing matter this is. Speak to the Jedi council I will.
We need a Vader series man
I am afraid disney would find a way to turn it into some woke nonesense... Still love the idea!!
Nah a vader trilogy would be the best
Yeah, also Disney did a fantastic job with Mandolorian, book of Boba, and obi Wan. Yes they completely ruined the main story of star wars (I liked them, but unfortunately they're just not that good. Even worse compared to the originals.) However they have made some awesome strides with star wars as well as horrible tragedies lol
Hey Disney, get on the Vader series
@Kreepiehouse 2 good seasons of bad batch 2 good seasons mandalorian and rogue one is the only good thing star wars has put out since Disney and Andor
Man legends is real SW to me. Always will be.

Everybody was human, then.
i agree. Legends is like George giving authors the freedom and direction to write whatever interesting, different ideas or approaches they had for the story, characters, factions, ships, planets and aliens they had in mind to create. Its also VERY big in terms of scale to the current canon that disney is making from the ground up. Here are some things that legends has (i know there is a ton more) the yuzon vongh war, abeloth ,the rakgoul plauge, jacen, jaina and anakin solo. the eclipse (massive ship that clone emperor has), emperor palpatine cloning himself, the story of the jedi master ikirit, darth nihlus, revan, malgus and krayt, durge and the mandalorians backstory and so much more.
@@ezequielquiroz935 YUP. Legends feels like real SW to me from the first specs if life on Goroth Prime, the Celestial civilization the rise of Hutt space the Rakata Empire and Xims Empire to the Pius Daea era of the Galactic Republic(crusades, Contispex rules and all) to the great schisms of the Jeh'di(think that's how its spelled) and the rise of the Jedi Order and the great schism separating light and dark force. The Mandalorian and Human ancestorial split
To the 2nd great schism and the 100 years war. King Adas of the sith the first Sith'ari(not the WOW one). The Sith Empire, Marka Ragnos, Naga & the hyper space wars, Freedon Nadd and Onderon, Exar Kun and the great sith war, Darth Vitiate, REVAN AND KOTOR events. The Eternal Empire, The triumvirate & KOTOR II. The events of SWTOR.
To Darth Ruins order, Darth Bane toppling the Brotherhood of Darkness, Yoda's birth. The 1,000 years peace. The Rise of Sidious and the great coup the 1st Galactic Empire, the Imperial Remnant wars, Yuzong Vong(spelling I forget) and events you seem to know of already, aallll the way to the 2nd Galactic Empire (MY GLORIOUS EMPIRE) that lasted a whopping 7-8 years! Cade Skywalker The Death of Darth Wredd etc.
I left a lot out for convenience sake. Cannon ain't got shit on Legends. Its no where near cought up. P.S. I grew up with Legends being unofficial cannon. It was more so then it is now.

I feel it speaks far louder than words for sidious to just show up, look at the rubble without saying a word and leave. The disappointment was immeasurable. If he was angry, he would've choked or hit Vader with lightning but he was just in pure disgust.

I like how Vader just stands there like a child who just received a bad scolding from their parents as Palpatine is leaving, it’s usually Vader being a powerhouse and near unstoppable force, but it’s when Palpatine is involved that we see his true vulnerability both physically and mentally.

Anakin failed when he prevented Mace Windu from killing Darth Sidious (“just stay in the Jedi Temple, Skywalker”)
I used the exact same tactic on Balkoth in Lords of Magic. We would make Balkoth waste all his time chasing seagulls across the shoreline while we sent eagles to torch his guilds and burn all his resources. My master sseth called this tactic "Dabbing on Balkoth."

This has to be the most merciful punishment I ever heard Palpatine give to a pupil of his.
