ok, fine, you sold it! we're on our way! Interesting fact: The ol' Brazen Brits used to be a Boondockers Welcome host. Interesting experience that's for sure ;-)
@@dianashelton1371 A lot of them tell you in their information on the website and app. But definitely ask! I have no problem with grabbing dinner or breakfast in their restaurant (if it has decent reviews)
What a lovely location. I’m not a drinker but will still stay at a few I’m sure through Harvest Host some day. It’s still fascinating learning how each place makes their own.
Wife and I were at 3 Brothers 2 years ago. We did the Bourbon Trail for our 30th. It was great to sample straight from the barrel so we could pick what we wanted. Good stuff. We enjoy watching and wish yall the best.
Wow- looks lovely. I did not know that about the Bourbon barrels. You both are fun, charismatic & educational :) Keep having fun and sharing adventures :)
Doing the things! :) I LOVE Harvest Hosts & BW, they've been amazing enjoyable experiences that add to the fun of traveling around and seeing things we wouldn't normally see.
We love Harvest Host! Its great for a one night stop. Its worth the money if you like to go on long trips. We are also members of Boondocks Welcome but haven't tried it yet. Love your new adventure!
I'm commenting. Sorry it took me so long to watch this video, we've been really busy which has been nice. It looks like ya'll are doing ok so I hope that the good times keep rolling. Please have blessed travels.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure that's not it".....snort ~ some of my loves in one vlog! Copper, the art & science of moonshining & Sheila & Todd~ wasn't Frankfort a nice surprise? We loved that part of the country on our visit back in May.
HH is great we’re weekend warriors in our class B and HH is our go to for overnight stays in Northern and Southern California. Only done one BDW so far but great host there too.
Fun Fact 😆 I digress..... Todd you have the American flag on your shirt...have you been watch the Olympics too? Enjoy your videos, stay safe and Switch It Up!!!
I love fun facts!! Surprised that Todd would stay at an address with ‘crab’ in it - lol. Looking forward to getting a chance to meet at Hershey! Stay safe.
Todd while on your trip you will need to learn differences between whiskey and bourbon as you continue your journey to refinement theyre not so subtle I highly recommend tour some of the bourbon trail tour wealth of knowledge and great gift shops. Safe travels guys.
@@SwitchItUpLife not on bourbon trail but if opportunity check out limestone branch in Lebanon two beam cousins only been going since 12 their yellowstone is amazing
We just stayed at a harvest host in New Brunswick. It was a brewery. We arrived late and as we were transferring the cat from the car to the trailer he got loose and ran off. They where wonderful. We stayed another night. The brewery posted the info on the cat and the whole town was out looking for him after church. We had to continue to Halifax. The beer was good, the people were great and it was pretty.
Y’all are heading to Lexington or Georgetown to the Horse park I hope. Do the Thoroughbred Horse Farm tour. Calumet is so beautiful and stately, some of the greatest Kentucky Derby, Oaks, Preakness and Belmont winners are retired there. And then head to Red River Gorge, best hiking and kayaking in the state. Then of course you slide over to Mammoth Cave National Park.
Looks interesting! Guess you're not a bourbon fan Sheila! I have to say I do like a good bourbon. When I was in college, oh but I digress! ( it happens to us all Todd!) This story can keep for the huddle! Once again, great video!
So, let's say you are searching for a place to stay on Harvest Hosts. Do the places indicate what time you need to arrive, or do you not know that information until you book? You mentioned that the place you booked required you to be there before 3:00. So, I was just wondering if you found that out after you booked, or do you know that before you book? Thanks.
Sandra Westley from the UK you need to arm yourselves with wax ear plugs, wouldn’t go anywhere without them, I use them every night, so it’s very peaceful 😂😂
We have a hard time getting somewhat level if we don't unhook from Shrek. I'm sure there will be a day when we just need to get to the bedroom to get some sleep and we won't put the slides out and unhook but we haven't done that yet. We typically try to be somewhere by 5 for the evening so we still use the kitchen/living area.
Love your video. Being from Louisiana and just starting out I would love to join Harvest Host but not sure how many locations are in Louisiana. Are most of the host pet friendly as we have two fur boys that travel with us. It's really hard to get information to see if this is something that would work for us. I still work but would love to do weekend trips or mid week trips for a few days just driving and staying one night and moving on.
You should be able to see the locations without being a member - looks like 12-15 ish in your state of Louisiana but quite a few on the border states - most usually allow pets - in fact I've only seen a couple that did not and it was because of different farm animals they had most just say they have to be on a leash. Hope that helps!
Absolutely I think this would be a very safe option - every place has a host, some hang out with you and chat, some are super busy and working but you have a contact person, just read the reviews from prior guests to get a good feel of the surroundings.
Thanks for watching and doing all the things - I don't think we are patient enough to make a good bourbon who wants to wait 7 years to see if it's any good?? LOL

HH is great. You can stay in some amazing places. Always quiet. Boondockers Welcome is hit or miss in my experience. Great video.
Oh wow, again y’all were so close to us, only a 45 min. drive. I agree a Huddle in KY in the future is a must!!!🤗
We really love the music you use in your videos
We have the golf membership although we don’t golf. The restaurants are usually great, always so nice in the evenings.
Good tip!
Beware that some of the golf courses require you to golf and pay for the tee times. 👎
@@BillUtah Good to know. We’ve not ran into that if we patronize the grille/restaurant/gift shop. I’ll start asking prior now.
