With my Class A my max drive day is about 5 hours before I start to get tired. I hate those nut lugs. Great talking with you this week at the RV show. So far we are staying with the Class A.

My wife's comment about the lug nut incident is to be thankful it was the front cap, and not your windshield. Take care guys.
We where say gin the same thing about 10 min after we shot this clip!
It was probably better that lug nut hit your RV instead of your windshield. A piece of wood flew off of a construction truck and hit my windshield in my little VW convertible like a javelin. It went through the windshield and landed on my lap. So scary. That weather system you were talking about was pretty bad - we were near Keaton Beach and it was not fun. We have a small trailer - less than 22' and love Harvest Hosts. We have been members for many years and have done over 100 (but being smaller we aren't as limited). Safe travels!
We where talking about that after we filmed that section, we are VERY lucky it didn't come in thru the windshield!!
I wouldn't say it's a MEGA FAIL...it was outside influences that you had to overcome...so, you stayed safe, kept the rig between the ditches and are ahead in your travel plans...so, it's a win in any book!! And to be honest, there's another better than to drive into a sunrise..they are the best.
