"We've stopped to talk with you because you're out of the norm... so it you'd like to explain yourself." 19 words that should scare the sh!t out of everyone. Welcome to "the ends justify the means" rationale... The camera scans AND CAPTURES the faces and compares them againat a database. That means they are, in fact, recording images. The fact that they are subsequently deleted, regardless of the time interval between capture and deletion, does not mean they weren't recorded, just that they weren't retained for a lengthy period of time. It would not take much to simply "forget" to take the last step of deleting the images. Nor will it be long before we see abuses of the "wanted" status for this technology as we have seen in the Licence Plate Reader technology.
You get one of these and scan it with your phone, it gives you the information on there website and then what does it do to your phone and all the information on your phone.
It's ironic that while the police are using facial recognition to record everyone, supposedly under strict rules, the officer in the video didn’t follow basic body-worn camera guidelines for turning on his own body-worn camera, breaching police regulations and transparency principles under the Data Protection Act. If the police can’t get simple rules right that have been around for years, how can we trust them to handle new facial recognition tech responsibly? From watching this video, the auditor may have had his face covered, raising police suspicions, but the officer’s casual chewing didn’t exactly convey professionalism. I can’t think of any other job where it’s acceptable to chew gum while speaking to another person.

" People We put Into The System", whether you're wanted or not.
They were fishing for info all the time , well done mate
Power and control.
The more this is exposed the more people will cover their faces!
Consistently good auditing.
Wait for the 'Hits' to pour in for them when everyone who uses 'Social Media' is forced to upload a photo and ID info.....(Oh it's coming people!)
That propaganda leaflet looks legit tho
I believe every word of it, it was approved by the government so it must be true
@ImBaudits Our government only wants the best for us 🤭
@@T1mPanda EXACTLY! You get it 🥰😍
🤮🤮🤮💩
You get one of these and scan it with your phone, it gives you the information on there website and then what does it do to your phone and all the information on your phone.
They always have to have the last word.
I can hardly wait for the police to be told by they're bosses WE don't need to employ you because use facial recognition now.
I liked you saying that you're not normal, neither am I, I'm not normal and wouldn't want to be. Normal is boring.
They dont follow body worn policy so why would you believe they follow policy on this over reach?
Nicely done 👍
