They had to de-escalate a situation and keep the peace while struggling to find any legislation to help them do so and clearly they were more than happy when DJE offered to leave and thus de-escalate the situation. These aren't bad cops, they're good cops in the making imo. They just need experience and time will no doubt give them that.
