Toning down the drama and flowing concept of the original album has worked making the listener become more 'involved ' with the record . REDUX is a highly personal re-working by RW and by being less dramatic makes this new version more fitting for these troubled times ... For me this version of DSOTM fits very well in the current 'Zeitgeist' and 'could' in turn make the whole piece become more powerful in a much more subtle way ( and I did say could !) ... Best advice for that first time listen ... 'Dark room . candle burning , headphones on and become one with this new version , got a feeling this could be a game changer ... !
