heard quite many versions this is one of best; sound is just awesome and Jimmy was at his peak best since early 70"s I would considered his performance even better cause there is more maturity and his guitar sound much more subtle, rich harmonies, better sustain all in all powerful sound but also recording is better quality than those in 70s hence effect is better--and Jimmy solo part is otherwordly, immense technical mastery collides with his soul result is infinity !
This is an excellent performance by JPP, BUT THE 73 SOLO from TSRTS is spectacular and much better...that les paul was screaming in that performance....

Terry Mitchell Where did ye see them Terry.? Caught this tour in Glasgow, Michael Lee, the drummer passed away a few years ago now, he stole the show playing The Wanton Song...astounding!
Terry Mitchell I wish I had been 20 years older, TSRTS in Madison Square would’ve been my first choice to see LZ live had i the option, grew up on this as my auld man loved them, I picked up a guitar because of JP. I was only 25 when I first saw JP and RP in Glasgow in ‘98. In the O2 reunion with JPJ and having Bonham Jr on drums, Page’s back was severely damaged he had to cancel on touring with The Black Crows and required a secondary guitarist. Best gig I’ve seen, Michael Lee was a very efficient drummer who passed away, Lee was staying In Inverness at the time (Boleskine perhaps?) 🍻
up against the doors the stones even the memory of the beatles. this band, this trio took us to places that were open and free. this music doesn’t live in a compartment or a cage. This is what it is like to look at yourself
Saw this tour in san Diego California in september 1998, The best concert i have been to. Still have the tshirt from The concert. 21 years have pass, now i understand when they say time is just and illusion.
Its a cute thought, but those days are far far gone. Asking Plant to do that is like asking you to go back to high school. It was a time in their lives music history when a certain thing was happening, and now its happened and now its over..Especially with Bonham gone....
I never quite understood or truly found the truth of why John Paul Jones was not playing with them. What was the reason? Because it would have been like a Zeppelin reunion? With the remaining members? And Page & Plant didn't want that? I remember Jones telling them they have his phone number.,so obviously he wanted to play, such an intricate part of the Led Zep sound. Jones was and will always be Zeppelin. Him and Bonzo the back bone of their sound ,and live fed off each other From Jimmy's Guitar work Changing from Concert to Concert. A well oil Machine ,without Bonham they lacked the Hardcore and the softness John Henry provided as no other Drummer could replace for Zeppelin.,I can understand Bonhams Son Jason coming in to play in 02. He was Family,John's Son and a great Drummer at that time. John Paul Jones was there as well and put on as usual a great performance as he did every album and live Show. Never ever a Bad show for JPJ. So why was he not included before that. With other Drummers playing in for John Henry Bonham. Please enlighten me to this. From a huge fan of Muti talentated led Zeppelin Bassist and Keyboards player ,Mr. John Paul Jones. "Jonesy". Thanks ,Rich from Brooklyn...
Yup! John Paul Jones should have played in this concert but he was not there! Wow! They forgot John Paul Jones and his phone number that's the stupidest thing Robert and James Page have done! Even though, no matter how the Led Zeppelin was with all four together would've made this their good time of their life the three of them! But it never happened without John Paul Jones is never a great performance! Yeah! The sound of the music is there but it sounds like something is missing! Wondering why that didn't happen! Maybe they think it's ok without him they're being selfish!🤔 They should've stayed together no matter what! In the remembering of John Bonham! They weren't strong but their weakness took over! It's too late now that we can't bring the passed back only to the sounds of the music 🎶 is alive and well! 🤔
Saw them in Phoenix 98, Jimmy is bad man a very bad man and very loud bad man, so many jealous out there try to tear him down but all of rock and roll tried to get tickets to the 02 arena show, I'm so glad they made a DVD from it.

Me too.And I have kissed them.Look at my profile photo.
@@eminkurnaz6480 oh wow that’s special 🙄 do you seriously think your the only one that has? I seriously doubt it. So get over it.
I have listen to Zeppelin a long time, this Song of no quarter is my favoritt of all. They have made sow mutch good musik, sow tank Paul Jons
Simply the best
That tone of that guitar!🤘🏻
a JPJ classic still listening to in 2020
heard quite many versions this is one of best; sound is just awesome and Jimmy was at his peak best since early 70"s I would considered his performance even better cause there is more maturity and his guitar sound much more subtle, rich harmonies, better sustain all in all powerful sound but also recording is better quality than those in 70s hence effect is better--and Jimmy solo part is otherwordly, immense technical mastery collides with his soul result is infinity !
Mostly, I agree, but that organ is truly awful. Just wrong sounding. It sets the tone for the whole song and this version is just plain wrong.
This is an excellent performance by JPP, BUT THE 73 SOLO from TSRTS is spectacular and much better...that les paul was screaming in that performance....
Tool is good on this
Still listening in 2020
This is sooo good
Beautiful song thank you for sharing what a wonderful band ! ❤️😀✌️
Damn! The lighting was good at this gig, the camerawork too! The performance was excellent of course
Was this really over 20 years ago? Some shit is timeless!Timeless
Yeah! It really sounds like yesterday it happened but it's years ago! My gosh! Recently, I started watching these videos 📹 of Led Zeppelin that I didn't know about! I like Robert's tiny shirt 👕 on him just cute when he sings and his voice is amazing! If I was born in those days I would've went to see them! Now! That I looked them up they're very good and old! I like 👍 ♥ those dimples on John Paul Jones's cheeks 😍! They're cute!🎶🎸🎤🎹🥁
Page still hot and love his boyish smile and plays like a master 👍
Agreed!!
Hell yeah! Jimmy is eternally sexy
Ditto! 😍
Best plant and page were since zeppelin of course. Page playing best since 1973 haters are probably mad they didnt go to this concert tour. I'm glad I did!! Probably last great zeppelin performances from them together well have beside the o2
Glad I got to see them live!
Best ax player I ever saw live!!!
Terry Mitchell
Where did ye see them Terry.? Caught this tour in Glasgow, Michael Lee, the drummer passed away a few years ago now, he stole the show playing The Wanton Song...astounding!
Every time they came to Maryland area

I wish I had been 20 years older, TSRTS in Madison Square would’ve been my first choice to see LZ live had i the option, grew up on this as my auld man loved them, I picked up a guitar because of JP.
RIP Michael Lee. Excellent drummer.
up against the doors the stones even the memory of the beatles. this band, this trio took us to places that were open and free.
this music doesn’t live in a compartment or a cage. This is what it is like to look at yourself
Haunted sublime performance! The climax of tihs song always amazed me! R.ip Michael Anthony!
Michael Lee was the drummer,Michael Anthony was the bass player for Van Halen,Chickenfoot.
Hard to think this was 26 years ago playing a 51 year old song! And I'll be back...
Saw this tour in san Diego California in september 1998, The best concert i have been to. Still have the tshirt from The concert. 21 years have pass, now i understand when they say time is just and illusion.
Mr Plant,..... can u make this happen again PLEASE!!! I BEG U!!! ZEPPELIN REUNION 2020
Ain't gonna happen
Its a cute thought, but those days are far far gone. Asking Plant to do that is like asking you to go back to high school. It was a time in their lives music history when a certain thing was happening, and now its happened and now its over..Especially with Bonham gone....
Jonesy should be here..this is his song.
Still..they sounded great to me. Wish I had the chance to see them live..even for once.
Him and Bonzo the back bone of their sound ,and live fed off each other
From Jimmy's Guitar work Changing from Concert to Concert.
The seed that produced a thousand bands since
1,000,000,000
A shout out for Robert Plant 😁 I needed a Zeppelin fix - appreciate it ✌️
I saw this live in USA. Rest In Peace Michael Lee...
Saw them in Phoenix 98, Jimmy is bad man a very bad man and very loud bad man, so many jealous out there try to tear him down but all of rock and roll tried to get tickets to the 02 arena show, I'm so glad they made a DVD from it.
Saw them in Denver during this tour and it was an amazing show!!
Rain Song and this No Quarter are my favorites if there are some.......
There are more than some sir, almonds help.
That's about the heaviest guitar you will ever hear It stands the test of time
Without ANY doubt
Ill second that
THE definition of a power riff!
Indeed..!
Page is the best Rock / Blues guitarist in the last 60+ years. I always thought it was like Zapoa ..Hendrix ...Page...Duane Allman...Eric Clapton. But Page is beyond even Zappa. Well....hes at least equal of Frank Zappa
