Subnautica 1 was a big game made by a small indie studio in unity. Ofc it was filled with bugs. Subnautica 2 will probably have plenty of bugs too but this is not the same thing. It is made by a big experienced and skilled studio in urneal engine.
Below zero was not as scary as the OG game, we all know that. but why was it less scary, well i believe that if the Leviathans of below zero were added to the original subnautica, it would not have been such a big difference. but it was the size of the map. because it was so small, the area for the Leviathans were way smaller and i mean WAY SMALLER. Anyone who has played below zero will know, that the shadow Leviathan just got stuck all the time. this made it WAYYYYY less scary. if subnautica 2 will have deep open waters almost all over the areas where Leviathans spawn, it will be MUCH more scary . (This took me 15 min to write, so plsss if you agree with me like this comment)
i do argee but some of this guys points of how to make the game "better" just dont make sense like decompression sickness is gonna to be annoying as all hell and DIEING instanty as soon as you get out of your seamoth that is dumb.
@TheBonkMaster. dying the instant you get out of a vehicle might be a bit much, but maybe at extreme depths you would take damage without an upgrade to your suit or something?
@whimsical418 if crush depth is implemented to the player, i would like to have like the seamoth. once you go to deep you start taking damage. and the better diving suit you have, the deeper you can go. i believe this would add some more realism.
@@Whimsical418 That is what I had in mind. The way I stated it in the video made it seem like I meant instant death, but I just meant it should damage you and end you if you're out of your seamoth for too long.
im actually so excited for this, no matter the current state of it or anything, just like the first subnautica im here for the journey. (i will admit i wasn't with subnautica from the start but i was fairly early on.)
So who else is IMMEDIATELY buying it in early access even tho it's going to be FILLED WITH BUGS as well we have waited long enough for it
I think I'll wait. I don't want my first experience with Subnautica 2 to be filled with bugs.
@@a-socialite vaild, but I usually enjoy the bugs as they can be really funny when their not super major

Ooh ooh ooh me me me me me
Absolutely hyped for this game
Bigger isn't always better if they don't have the content to fill it, tho i do agree that below zero was too small
too be fair it technically is a spin-off so yeah

The original below zero story was better than what was released mostly because Robin didn't sound so... irritating.
i agree
