Geoff interviewing Geoff lol. I am starting to like his content more , but I’d rather he ask the questions and let the person he’s interviewing answer them. I’m 24 minutes in and all I hear is Geoff talk about his shop and the persons he’s interviewings shop. 😅

So true. Geoff’s thumbnail ‘Getting SCHOOLED’ then he proceeds to talk 90% of the time. I doubt CardsHQ is still in business 2-3 years from now, and maybe even sooner. You can’t dismiss a proven market venue like eBay in favor of WhatNot and expect to succeed. Just ask Burbank’s and try LISTENING to Got Baseball Cards owner. Over 300,000 eBay listings. If you sell 1% of that inventory monthly at an average of $2 per card, that’s $6K in revenue, and basically free customer acquisition costs. The future of sports card shops is found in those two stores already.
I always feel bad for any of his "guests" because he NEVER let's them talk. Worst interviewer on the planet. 🤣
Geoff- you should do an internet segment like Complex does with sneakers where u get athletes or celebrities to come in to Cards HQ to card shop and buy some product. Would be a cool show
Poor Joe didnt get to say much. Which is a shame bc he is a very smart guy that Geoff could learn from. It’s getting harder and harder for me to watch anything Geoff is on

Love these videos you are doing lately! It's great to hear that there is an increase of kids coming into the shops. I see my 9 year old nephew and his friends give each other slabbed cards to each other as birthday gifts. Such a great gift idea

Geoff...I know the answer to your question. where does all the Pokémon graded cards go. Some are PC but most go to Asia and Hong Kong and the secondary market there is crazy for anything PSA!
why did u open a physical store when most of ur effort is about on-line live and on-live breaks and ur website ? seems like could have just done that without the physical store front ???

Hi . I have some old cards that I think are perfect condition and if graded are worth big bucks that I can see online. Some I just opened from boxes from the 90s. I need to sell. Who can I contact . I can send pics. I need money. 😂 Ive have my collection untouched for over 30 years.

Lmao people actually COLLECT the Pokémon slabs😂 you don’t see them bc they are in peoples (like me) collections! Unlike sports where everybody and their mother is a flipper🙄
Sports have flippers because a player’s weekly performance (as dumb as that is) can affect the market for that player’s cards. Cartoon/comic characters do not have that variable as part of their market.
Believe it or not, before covid sports cards had collectors too. Thanks to all these "influencers" that blew up a few years ago, every idiot that gets into the hobby now is only interested in money.
Typically a good interview is 20% the interviewer talking and 80% the guest. This was the exact opposite. It was impossible to labor through the entire video.

Tcg people are actual collectors so there slabs stay in there collection. This is one of the things that worry me about sports cards, does anybody actual collect anymore or are they just trying to make a buck?

1/3rd of sales means nothing. What are the total sales? If sales of sports cards/slabs is not at a certain high level then Pokemon $$ would be a bigger %. 😂

I'm glad Jeff is shying away from eBay and I hope he stays completely away from them. EBay, get so much of your money in the form of fee's that it's almost impossible to make any profit through eBay.
