- One of the best parts about ac unity for me was the weapon variety. Though statistically the sword is always better, for me ac is about freedom of expression and a specific power fantasy. Allowing players to dress arno how they want and then use a large variety of great looking weapons was an amazing aay to facilitate the type of assassin fantasy YOU want. So i made a video showing off some stealth gameplay in ac unity but using a rifle, cos who doesn’t love a rifle.

i love that there are still people actively playing unity, I can launch multiplayer on a daily basis and have some quick fun stealth run missions with people still trying to collect all the armor pieces and sync points, once you really fully understand the combat and get creative with your stealth tools it is by far the most satisfying ac experience you can have in some of the most recent games in my opinion.

They should really make another unity, the idea of you and your friends as a group of assassins is one of Ubisofts best ideas and I think would especially flourish in today's gaming world

That's one of the things I like about AC games, they go the extra mile even to include features that only 1% of the players might even notice. Indie games lack the budget and team size so tend to have only bare minimum making the game worlds feel a bit empty and characters a bit robotic.
I remember ending up using rifles on co-op missions just to show off lol

Using single-handed weapons generally feels like the best option, but I really like trying out non-lethal/blunt weapons as well. ACU definitely does make the non-lethal weapons feel really nice, even though the game encourages you to take a more lethal approach to stealth and combat.

@@soccerandtrack10 Origins handled melee weapon archetypes better because they actually feel different. Every melee weapon in Untit swings like a sword.
Personnaly, i don't mind they tried a "non-lethal" gameplay, but it feels weird when a mace with spikes is categorise as "non-lethal".
@@memecliparchives2254 a hitbox based system really helps differentiate things considering that range would actually mean something
This game was released 8 years ago imagine what would have happened if it was released today : an amazing storyline with great graphics
The story could of been better but I still appreciate the story it’s kinda cool

Dude i find the mechanics super laggy and clunky. It's always so hard to make Arno go the direction i want him to go. Sometimes i wanna go just up and for some reason he wall ejects or goes to the sides lol. Im just finally trying to collect the coins so i can delete and not have to play again lol. This guys makes the maneuvering seem so smooth
@@clopez1961exa17 That wasn't the point, you haven't even come close to mastering the gameplay yet and once you do, you won't feel the same again. Also yeah, it is still a bit laggy and clunky but isn't as laggy as it was during release.
The guns in Unity did allow weapon variety, but every other melee weapon archetype just felt the same with the sword lol.

U can insta-knock enemies (even brutes & defenders) by using heavy attack on long & heavy weapons

ofc objectively it's faster and more reliable to just knock them on the floor normally then shoot them...
Unity is a really underrated game. The story is eh, but the game itself is amazing!

I love how us players who love AC Unity are completely used to the bizarre fact that pistols and rifles in this game have an identical range, like that totally makes the slightest sense

And also how pistols have higher capacities than rifles, like that makes sense.
Personnaly, when i realise Rifle range and handgun range were the same plus the fact that you can't use the rifle while standind on a rope/branch etc. when it's possible with the handgun, it was a HUGE disapointment.

The outfit he’s using is the legendary sans culotte hood, Aron’s master coat, legendary military bracer, legendary brigand belt, and either Arno’s master trousers or legendary prowler breeches.

@@D3V14G0D You have to change to the Tailored Sans-Culottes Hood, it has less protection and low stealth but it looks better imo
I love Unity for this exact reason. It's so cool to see an Assassin actually implement a full-sized firearm. Somehow grounds them more in reality than the historical fiction setting itself.

@@Hamzaxx369 regular enemies see from the same distance that you can use the phantom blade, whereas snipers see you at the same distance you can use rifles/pistols, so it balances out.

As a non-player of Assassin's Creed games, I've always wanted to see more action around the rifle, especially as I love the aesthetic of running around with a rifle strapped to one's back. But man, you are _dripped_ out of your mind, that hair pipe is really underrated. If I like your other videos I might just subscribe.

Yeah. Mosina Rifle is one of the earliest decent sniping weapons and Saint-Peterburg centre as a whole is an architectural UNESCO site.
Russian Empire also kept conservative in therm of weapons, so there were sabers and epees and also pocket knives too. All easy to buy with not much regulations.
Males in Russian Empire would be also normally wear long coats, a leather coat is a symbol of Russian Revolution in particular, a Bushlat or the army winter coat would also do great as a kind of assassin's uniform.
I also want the plot of Block's 12 poem as an Easter egg, may be even a mission.

Damn bro, I used to be my friend groups designated marksman, I always used a rifle and never anything else, I never ran out of ammo because I was always looting, and giving blunt force trauma to enemies was entertaining to say the least, this brought back those great memories.

If I could record some gameplay I would like to showcase difference between blunderbuss & multi direction-duck pistol.
Well, in short blunderbuss works when multiple enemies are inline/spread diagonally like in combat. Where duck pistols works best when multiple enemies are spread paralleled like the enemies that guarding entrances

watching this I can't help but realize that if it was me the character would randomly get superglued to at least 1/3rd of the course. I also like how the majority of civilians aren't running and screaming from the direction of a gunshot XD
