I absolutely loved this video which brought back great memories of off-roading with friends back in the 1970's and '80's in British Columbia, Canada. We didn't have all the fancy gear these guys do but with winches, jack-alls and chainsaws we made it one way or another. Yank's Peak in the Cariboo, the Jade Mine in the Shulaps mountain range, Middlepass crossing over the continental divide from the Flathead valley in B.C. into Alberta, P Line in the mountains above Squamish....all amazing trips. I'm a little too old now to get back into off-roading but watching these Aussies exploring the U.S. where I now live helps me relive my glory days of my youth. Thank you!

What an epic trip. Can we take a minute to Appreciate the Guy at Napa. He's the one i look to talk to on tricky fixes, not that a brake line is a tricky fix, by a long shot.

This was over the highest road in the world in Kashmir India camped at 4200m at Pang-gong lake on the same trip. I'm from CO and love this video, 4wding in CO is one of the most different and fun kinds you can do! Tire selection is also extremely important here, getting a cold weather compound and tread with siping is extremely important. Hey fellas. love the show. I live in Colorado and hope you enjoy your time here and in the us. Would have loved to show you around some amazing trails though my rig was stolen and the guy drove it through a house moving the house off of its foundation. 96 bronco fully kitted out. dude these videos are amazing. what an adventure. as an american GX/prado owner myself, wheeling the soccer mom rig is always a good time 😂 they are becoming pretty common rigs out here at least on the west coast these days.
How many US featured episodes will there be? So far it's been very entertaining. Awesome to see the Lexus GX470 making a main appearance on this episode instead of just being in the background 🤙👌
I have been to 5000 meters on the border from Chile to Bolivia. And the most stunning thing was that over that pass the other day heavy haulage trucks passed with a big load of maybe 100 tonnes!😮
You guys are incredible I love to see people appreciate the Colorado trails. Your attitude and mechanics skills are very impressive. Colorado is Amazing and hard to beat anywhere.
Glad you're enjoying Colorado! Its worth mentioning that high alpine tundra is very fragile so driving off trail can cause damage that can take decades to recover and puts trails at risk of being shut down. I'm sure your camp was sanctioned but it's an important detail for others watching this video that may not know.
Funny how they comment Jeeps being prone to breaking (a brake line and a tie rod, from hitting boulders etc on the trail btw). Yet two Toyotas break their drivelines from basic climbs, and another's rear brakes stop working, but somehow no criticism...
Last time I was there 2 years ago, 4 of our rigs(7 total) broke parts. 1 taco, 3 jeeps. 2 of the jeeps were out and had to get to a shop. The other broke a U joint, which we fixed on trail and was good to go, and the Taco broke a tie rod end, easy 10 minute fix. It's just luck of the draw and how you drive. I'm thankful my Taco has never broken a part yet, but I'm always ready with extra parts and tools just in case. Also, I religiously check before and after trips and replace as necessary. I don't think Jeeps or Toyotas are better than the other, they are just different and I like them both. Just run what you brought and atop the haye🤦🏾♂️. 🤘🏽
So glad to see y’all enjoy the trails I love to go on here in Colorado. I moved here 4 years ago and it changed my life. So blessed to call this beautiful place home.
As a native coloradian who runs up and down webster pass and redcone on a yearly basis, seeing others' experience makes me realize how privileged I am when this is in my backyard, you guys are more than welcome to come again I hope one day to see you running the trail
We are reallllly lucky that these trails are hours and less from us. We have to do our best to protect them too and keep access open since everyone seems to be gunning against motorized trail users anymore.
Nice! I grew up in Summit County running those trails. I didn't know there was any other wheeling than shelf roads and driving over mountain peaks. 😄 I love seeing the Australian trails these guys run. Those islands look out of this world.
Love our Aussie brothers! I’ve spent a lot of time traveling SE Asia and of course always run into many Aussies as it’s so much closer for them to get there. I’ve met so many fun, friendly and genuinely great Aussies on these trips! Great to see some come here and have such an amazing journey in the US.
It truly is amazing and incredible that you boys got to go to a place that I visit regularly. It’s almost like my son and I are there with you guys. What a fantastic episode.
I’ve played that brake game with 3 different Jeeps in my day. YJ, XJ and WJ all failed at the rear line. I got ahead of the issue on my current JK and regularly keep an eye on it. Needless to say, now I always carry spare coils of 3/16” brake line and several Parker 3500psi 3/16” compression couplers. Jeep life. 😂🍻
I live relativity close to Ouray. Its brings me such joy to be reminded of how blessed i am to live here. Seeing the joy and wonder you've experienced brings me back.
At least they speak English, unlike the majority that come across our southern border. They'll probably also return to their homeland as well & not wear out their welcome
I came back to watch it in HD and man!!! There is nothing like these guys. They are funny AF and just so different than all the content of "overlanders" here. I mean for f*ck sake Shauno is chucking the butter on the salmon with dirty hands!!! YES!! That's how it's done! On other channels here you got "guys" donning latex gloves just to check their air pressure on their tires. The difference between soy boys and men I guess. 😜
As a Colorado native who's been wheeling in the San Jauns my whole life, and a MASSIVE fan of this channel, this is AMAZING!
Dude pretty much same here, always thought they would love it here.
Me three XOXO we are so lucky 🙂
Me as well! So glad to see a bunch of Aussies in CO this year as some of the drag car guys also did rocky mountain race week!
It was an amazing video, except for the part where they illegally drove off trail onto the tundra to camp in an area where camping isn't allowed.
What trail are they on? Parts of it look like Alpine Loop, but the challenging snow spot I don't recognize
This is why I love Aussies. States he's out of depth, scared, and afraid of heights but sends it over the snow while laughing. Got to love it.
It's a survival instinct 😂
We are usually pretty truthful too. We also love to say “Send it”. Or if in doubt, peddle out.

Just goes to show that nothing in Australia can come halfway as close to being amazing as these views, my God what an incredible country the USA is
Don't kid yourself. Australia packs a punch in the scenery department also.
Yes it certainly does but not to the extent over there
Yeah nah
@@andysparks1973 aah yeah

Thanks
amazing video guys thank a lot for taking us along BUT got to love what we know as a PRADO thats the only van that didn't break ;-]
TELL EM
as another colorado native who's driven all over the san juans I was sooo stoked for you guys to see this incredible place! i'm a huge fan of you guys and was so proud to see you guys enjoy it like i have. what an episode! can't wait for the moab episode! p.s. did you go thru the rock tunnel thousands of feet above telluride?
Thank you!
Yep. Blown away. Great to see you guys having fun. The scenery is awe inspiring.
These are men among men. I can’t put into words the respect and admiration I have for these gentlemen. To live life with the positive joy they do is off the charts. Infectious it is mates!!! Much love from the great pacific NW!!
Wow guys that was totally epic. Oh what fun that all looked like. It just goes to show that the dirty 30 can run with the big boys even on the small tyres well done guys. I’m so jealous 🤙😎🇦🇺
This is AMAZING 👏. I'm only a quarter through and I'm FROTHIN ❤ . What an epic trip, good on the Americans for looking after you so well
I like all the friendly banter the Prado/GX was getting and it absolutely preformed 💪🏼
What an epic trip. Can we take a minute to Appreciate the Guy at Napa. He's the one i look to talk to on tricky fixes, not that a brake line is a tricky fix, by a long shot.
If you have problems with the dirty 30 at 12000 feet buy a Marhindra XUV 500 AWD I took mine up to 5602m 18000+ never missed a beat. This was over the highest road in the world in Kashmir India camped at 4200m at Pang-gong lake on the same trip. Overnight went done -2c she started up next morning sounded like a tractor for a few seconds then like a Swiss watch. I am a Pom living in India planning a 2nd big lap next year for 6 months. 1st lap was 27300 km but was on road next year is off road. Will be 72 then wife and myself next year off on another adventure.
I'm from CO and love this video, 4wding in CO is one of the most different and fun kinds you can do! Tire selection is also extremely important here, getting a cold weather compound and tread with siping is extremely important. And as a Coloradan it makes me proud how much they respect and enjoy my state
Shaun with his shoulders shrugged with a beer watching his mate obtain hypothermia while he goes “u alright” is just gold.
Started to crack up when he said he was getting sympathy shrinkage 😂
SYMPATHY SHRINKAGE....Classic!!! Greetings from South Carolina USA!!!! I think ya'll need to to do an ENTIRE EPISODE OF JUST BLOOPERS!!
Hey fellas. love the show. I live in Colorado and hope you enjoy your time here and in the us. Would have loved to show you around some amazing trails though my rig was stolen and the guy drove it through a house moving the house off of its foundation. 96 bronco fully kitted out. The heavy duty bumper I welded up saved his life but the truck it in a sad state. Anyways have a great time Fellas.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you can fix it
Ive never watched an offroad show with this much laughter. You guys are good for the sport!
You can 4wd in bolivia across the Andes at 17,000ft. Top gear did it
I caught a glimpse of the Dirty Thirty in Moab. I was in the old 60. I can't wait to see to footage!
Yer the Prado! Absolute rig!
I've been wheeling the Rockies and the Sierras for over 50 years. It's a blast watching these wonderful lowlanders enjoy it and conquer the routine obstacles like broken rigs and testing your sanity. Great job friends! I have a dream to see Australia, but will probably have to make do with your wonderful filming. Thanks for visiting us.
This is by far the best episode you guys have ever done that scenery was amazing. 😮 keep it up do our brothers in the NZ next!!!
Howdy from Texas. I’m glad you boys from down under are enjoying our country. Thank you for the video. I really enjoyed seeing how y’all were in awe at every turn. Colorado is a beautiful state. My wife and I vacation there every few years. There’s always something different to see and do there.
Awesome glad you guys are hitting Americas trails its alot different than Australia. I would love to purchase some stedi lights but damn they are expensive.
thank you for coming all the way to my home trails. And doing so with the respect and ability you all showed. Come again theres so much more waiting for you
dude these videos are amazing. what an adventure. as an american GX/prado owner myself, wheeling the soccer mom rig is always a good time 😂 they are becoming pretty common rigs out here at least on the west coast these days.
Love mine. Theyre popping up all over the East Coast too
You guys have some sick drives. Absolutely amazing Keep up the great work.😊😊
As a Colorado native, I’m Glad you enjoyed my home! Colorado wheeling is special. Cheers mates!
As a fellow GX470 owner. Thanks for the proper representation! Great rigs. Cheers 🇺🇸
🎉🎉🎉
You guys are incredible I love to see people appreciate the Colorado trails. Your attitude and mechanics skills are very impressive. Colorado is Amazing and hard to beat anywhere.
Glad you're enjoying Colorado!
Its worth mentioning that high alpine tundra is very fragile so driving off trail can cause damage that can take decades to recover and puts trails at risk of being shut down. I'm sure your camp was sanctioned but it's an important detail for others watching this video that may not know.
Someone should tell the wildlife to stay off of it as well... the heards of wildlife are causing irreversible damage. 😢
About 100 years with short growing seasons
@@crabbitkClearly that's not the case but it is with 4wd tires
Yea that wasn't cool. That's what gets trails shut down.
@@crabbitkwildlife has no brain, hopefully u do
Some of the happiest smiles and laughs I’ve ever seen! And that four wheelin’!
Funny how they comment Jeeps being prone to breaking (a brake line and a tie rod, from hitting boulders etc on the trail btw). Yet two Toyotas break their drivelines from basic climbs, and another's rear brakes stop working, but somehow no criticism...
I was thinking the same thing lol I think they are in denial after watching the JKU stroll through the stuff their rigs are struggling through !
Jeep is shit
'It's slightly bent... but so are the Fellas..' You guys are awesome with the one liners! Looks like a blast!
So glad to see y’all enjoy the trails I love to go on here in Colorado. I moved here 4 years ago and it changed my life. So blessed to call this beautiful place home.
Nothing like the Rocky Mountains. Every time I visit I'm in awe. Glad you guys had an epic time!
What an epic trip ❤️ Australia has some amazing tracks but the US is on another level. 🍺🍺🍺😎👍👌
It truly is amazing and incredible that you boys got to go to a place that I visit regularly. It’s almost like my son and I are there with you guys. What a fantastic episode.
"Chase did it, and he drives a Prado.".... classic
😂😂😂
I’ve played that brake game with 3 different Jeeps in my day. YJ, XJ and WJ all failed at the rear line. I got ahead of the issue on my current JK and regularly keep an eye on it.
Needless to say, now I always carry spare coils of 3/16” brake line and several Parker 3500psi 3/16” compression couplers.
Jeep life.
😂🍻
If the 12,000 " pass doesn't kill you, the Norwegian Farm Raised Salmon surely will . . . . .
I live relativity close to Ouray. Its brings me such joy to be reminded of how blessed i am to live here. Seeing the joy and wonder you've experienced brings me back.
I think we're going to see a lot of Aussies coming over the southern border in their 4WDs soon after watching this video 😮
They're welcome! They can bring the 'good' 80 series stuff with them to haha
At least they speak English, unlike the majority that come across our southern border. They'll probably also return to their homeland as well & not wear out their welcome
Awesome video as always 4WD24/7 Crew. Shaun and Graham this was a epic adventure can't wait for the next adventure with Jocko.
They might've even boiled those chips in brake fluid haha
5:08 This possibly the most stunning scenery on UA-cam. The green is so exquisitely intense, it seems unreal. I'm super jealous. 🤩
