      I agree. We have some of the best wheeling in the world where technical difficulty is concerned, but we don’t have the long distance “tracks” like the Aussies. Hope I can get there someday, but that’s a long, expensive jaunt for po folks.

      Lads, get down here! Hire a 70 series and go fucking anywhere! Best time of your life. Think desert, lots of water and fuel, plb/epirb, never leave the vehicle, you’ll be a shitload safer than south Chicago or Iraq!!

      As a real remote living Australian, I will have some word's for these guy's, mostly love their content, but I live there sometimes and it's just BS and destructive to our tracks for views.
      If I come across them I'll have a beer with them and let them know how the local guy's feel about their activities.

    • @mJlReplicanT001
      @mJlReplicanT001 9 місяців тому

      @@seancraven2361 .. interesting way to look at it all.
      Let’s not forget the other side of what these views and contents push’s too. Big advocates for CLEANING UP after the REAL terrors of the tracks.
      But I understand how someone would feel this way. But how far down the rabbit hole does one go and start thinking, finger pointing etc; at all the things that “ruin” our beautiful country ?
      Interesting discussion to have I think.

    If you find yourself questioning if your meats ok again, give it a quick soak with some vinegar, whiskey or whatever similar you have. This trick works wonders, but is only effective for meat that is suspect, not meat that is obviously bad.

    As much as the 47 looks cool being period correct and all, it might be worth putting a set of sunraysias on for the sand given how they can't be let down to those ultra low pressures. That and I couldn't imagine changing tubes in that heat with how often they tend to get flats, it's a lot of work and dangerous. Could always go for skinny white sunnies to stay period correct too 😁

    G60 for me. My old man had one when I was a kid. He used to have a private rubbish disposal business called Mr Neat. The G60 towed the trailer he used for years and years. It was custom made and would have weighed well over 5 tons fully loaded which it usually was. That thing would go up Plenty River Drive in Greensborough in 1st gear at about 5ks an hour, but up it would go, without fail. The definition of unkillable.

    I sat down with my dinner, steak and veg. I got to the end of this ep with my knife and fork in each hand, dinner untouched. Fantastic ep. Thanks for posting.

    Big credits to the guys who did this from when there were no tracks. We are kidding ourselves to think this is a tough trip these days with the modern equipment we have.....and knowning that we have the Australian Defence Force to come out and save us if the shit really hit the fan.
    Great fun video regardless.

    Thank you for bringing up first aid supplies! 2 pieces you guys need to carry is an AED and tourniquets. Anyone could have an event that causes cardiac arrest and without an AED they will die out in the bush. Know your CPR it could save a life.

    7:31 is a great idea, but incorrect. You can switch from 2x4 to 4x4 on the go, but the front shaft is always spinning since he is leaving the hubs locked in….
