In the second “proposal” Fern tentatively accepts Stark’s gesture, which I personally think means that Fern is starting to realize how she feels towards Stark

Well it wasn't just manners for either of them, Fern learned how to dance, eat, dress, and act properly. Stark learned that as well as how their family uses a sword. Seeing that he doesn't use a sword *at all* and is much lighter than his usual weapon, of course it will take longer to get used to. I'd assume it was also hell for Fern since she only had a month to prepare, meaning she was likely rushed to learn everything. They both worked equally hard.

I don't think Fern deserves Stark until she can be more honest with herself and stop projecting. Stark may lack confidence but he's true to who he is and what he feels. He, as a character, deserves so much more than to be constantly put down by Fern who is unable to be honest with herself.

Ah, 3D models makes sense. I assumed the key poses would be rotoscoped and then redrawn to keep the characters on model. At least, that's how I would do it. But using 3D models as reference is basically the same thing.

this monsters of this show are so different from other fantasy/isekai anime riddled with ogre, goblin and slimes like the monster out here are actually a threat.
A native flower combined with the power of chaos creates a monster that threatens a vast land, it also has automatic intelligence that protects its core as well as the ability to reflect magic and " curse "puts to sleep a large area that mages cannot resist. Frieren's party could also fall prey to it if they didn't have a priest like Sein in their team.
The merchant from the previous episode did say he specifically specialized in selling accessories, and then later when he gave Frieren the spell he said a bunch of people from his village kept losing accessories, so though it was a convenient plot device, it was not an amazing a coincidence that came out of the blue with no context. I mean, if you sell pricey jewelry and you keep misplaching shit, it's not that weird to have a spell that locates the shit you misplaced, even if I do agree that it's a bit too convenient that he was planning to give that spell to Frieren as payment from the start.
4:10 actually yes. Fern has much more long range detection magic and fast shooting magic. Fern kinda sleeping in the cart because her mana detection got in the area of the curses (Frieren's got the amount of Mana, and FirePower with battle experience tho)

Back in E12, when Stark was trying to carry Frieren, I think Fern was feeling the first hints of jealousy thinking about him holding another girl. She just didn't understand what she was feeling, and her pausing before saying she'd carry Frieren was Fern trying to process her emotions. She couldn't understand it and just fell back on calling him a perv.

Now I'd go for a JRPG where you will get to fight a nasty boss but the twist is that your weakest and least used character will fight it alone and try to last for the time being. Regarding spell for making money/gold... You'll get why it can't be done later or next season if ever. That complex character is one of the best this story produced.
🤣It's actually Frieren's fault they're so low on money since she tends to blow their money on useless curiosities. 🤣 But yeah, Sein coming into his own as an adventurer, Stark getting to sort through old emotions and help someone else come to term with theirs, and Frieren, like you all observed, growing to appreciate her time with her new companions. I loved this episode.

She just didn't understand what she was feeling, and her pausing before saying she'd carry Frieren was Fern trying to process her emotions.
