I get tremendously annoyed when a defense attorney says the convicted has no prior record when pleading for a light sentence. Well, every criminal has a first. And her FIRST was not stealing a car. It was MURDER.

Yeah i agree, but I loved how Judge Freniere kind of called that out. She brought up her past @1:16:39 stating she accepted a continuance without a finding. Christine was on a 6 month probationary period. She violated the agreement one month into it. Continuance without a finding? Well, she murdered her husband so that CWOF is null and void. Now the disturbing the peace and trespassing will be on her record. I know Judge Freniere brought that up on purpose to mock Christine's lawyer. 😂

Until she takes responsibility and acknowledges that she killed her husband she will not be rehabilitated. She is too narcissistic to be able to admilt her guilt.

By the time my three children sit in front of me and read out their victim statements, I would have collapsed. 😢💔
I haven't followed the trial and have only seen a few statements so far. Is this woman so strong, is she under sedation or is she just cold and heartless?
The children's statements are heartbreaking. I can understand all three of them.
Forgiveness is hard. Especially when one parent kills the other parent. I hope all three can forgive and move on with their lives. Healing of the soul. Forgiveness makes the heart lighter. Hate can destroy your life and prevent you from closure and living your life.
They do not betray their beloved Daddy by doing so. They will make him proud as they heal and move on with their lives. The life their father tried to prepare them for.❤
Whether they want to stay in contact with their mother is an individual decision and I hope all three find their decision.
I hope the three siblings will stick together forever and be there for each other forever. ❤️🙏
My love, strength and positive energy to the children, family and friends who are crying for Michael.

Her oldest son did not live in the home after the affair and never experienced the after effects and his dads alcoholism. My husband was an alcoholic for 10 years, our daughter was never home, she was in every sport she could be in year round, she graduated and he got worse. She would come home and he would behave... when I gave him an ultimatum she thought I was being harsh.... she didn't think he was an alcoholic. My son who is 5 years younger, hated him. He went thru all of it with me. Thankfully through the grace of God he hit rock bottom and got sober. He's been 4 years sober. But I still have PTSD and sometimes think I smell alcohol on his breath or think he's acting buzzed. This fear gripes me and I feel like I can't move. I can't imagine going through that plus an affair... being married to an alcoholic, there is no opportunity for growth or overcoming issues.... it's not a marriage.... it's just a struggle. He did not deserve to die, but I can understand how it happened.... he took the cowardly way out of his mistake by drinking.... and apparently she would have to go looking for him in the bars around town. That is a nightmare... and would drink any woman crazy.

I believe the opposite is true. He is the one who refers to her by her first name, rather than calling her his mother. He is also the only one of the three who asked for the maximum sentence. It think he DID love his mother, but he loved his father even more, and talked of his hatred of her for taking away his hero and best friend. I don't think she deserves forgiveness for what she did to them.

My heart broke for those kids. My own kids lose their dad when they were young, and I always felt sad for them because he was a man they would have been able to look up to and learn so much from. I would do anything to have him alive and be in their lives, and I can't. I think it hits me really hard because this family had a wonderful dad and the mother took him away from them! @@LoriAnnLuv Sorry if there is a joke there, but it went right over me. Woke BS is on the downfall, thanks to people actually fighting back and demanding the crap stop. And the girl has something funky with her speech. Could be she is hearing impaired, as I have hearing impairment and her enunciation is similar to what speech sounds like in some deaf souls. Also, she is a Bostonian, and we have very distinct accents (tendency to drop r's with words ending in the letter) but that is not a Bostonian accent she is speaking with. Maybe she just likes for people to wonder why she speaks so oddly. :D. No matter, that is her issue and not mine.

I live here, too.....park the car in the harvard yard is an old "joke" and does not represent the specifics of a true Bostonian accent (it's one of the hardest accents for actors to pull off without serious speech coaching.). My point is a) it's a her problem, not a topic for public gossip, and b). who the heck CARES?
