Bro.. I couldn't have done it without you. After 2 years of trying to find someone to wire my 81 El Camino for me, I decided to do it myself. I watched hours of videos and was still confused.. until I found this one. Thanks for posting ✊🏾💯
Thanks! I'm glad it helps you out! Mine was beyond usage lol the only way to do it, was to gut the whole car. It had been hacked up so many times In it's life
Thank you for this. I am using the same wire kit for my 75 f250. I have searched all over UA-cam for someone with the same harness. I definitely and intimidated but your description detail helped calm me down. I saved it for constant go backs when I am stumped. Thank you for this!!
Best vedio on the net iv watched them all very easy to understand thanks. Im doing a universal harness n a 40 pu with chevy engine n tilt not intimidated any longer THANKS
Thank you! It's a pretty straight forward job! Especially if you aren't switching to fuel injection! Fuel injection is straight forward too, but you'll have to plan ahead a little more!
Hell yeah bro I’m about to do my first required on my 77 coupe deville and was supper intimidated before watching this video! Good looking out big time for explaining and simplifying I feel way more confident 👍
Thank you Kevin! It was a few day process, because I purposely broke it down like that! I just worked a couple hours a day on each section and got it knocked out.
It's a very intimidating process. There are a ton of wires, but just knocking out a little at a time has been the best approach for me. Can't wait for the EFI
Is there another video that shows how you did the instrument panel, signal lights thermal plugs, and the ignition. I have no other experience whith automotive wiring. Please help.
This video is giving me so relief! Thank you. Can I ask some questions though? I'm rewiring a 1972 Jeep CJ5 with a 304 AMC engine. I just wanted to confirm the IGN SW Start is connected to the starter.
Thanks & how is everything grounded I just got the same harness you have in the video burn up my original cab harness & I'm a diy-er Doing a LS swap I also have the Dakota dash & Terminator X max tht I'm runnin
I have the same harness and there are 2 wires that didn't come with any labeling they run through the same bunch it's a grey wire and a black wire. Where do you use those?
Thank you for the great explanation! I’m planning on ordering this kit for my truck. I just had a question as far as relays, are they needed to run this kit?
It’s a carbureted 350 with mechanical fuel pump and hei. The fan I was thinking about ordering a separate relay kit for simplicity. As far as pump I was also planning on putting a inline pump since it’s takes a while to get up to the mechanical pump.
The truck kinda turned into a wiring nightmare, the harness was solid and I did the swap. I had to move it around while it was apart and broke the column, so I grabbed one from the junkyard. I guess it had a short and I was having issues. So I decided to build a whole simple harness for the truck from scratch since the drivetrain doesn’t need much. Now I’ve gone 2 years back and forth and I want to use something that is straightforward.

Hi what type of wiring harness did you use on the Nova Car. I am looking at using a painless on my 1994 302 engine. Thanks for the info
Thank you for the great explanation! I’m planning on ordering this kit for my truck. I just had a question as far as relays, are they needed to run this kit?
If you have an electric fan setup, or an electric fuel pump drawing big amperage, it might be necessary. What is your setup?

How do I run the A/C wiring
nice video. just a warning those cheap rubber grommets turn to dust in 5-10 years
Where did you get the harness? Trying to retire my 74 nova
What harness is this
Man that really really helped me…… thx
you don't need a starter solenoid for this do you?
I need your help 😮
I'd love to! What are you working on?

Are you having issues with the engine side or the rest of the car?
What are you using to run the LS?
@@JakeHarrington i’m confused with the whole thing to be honest lol.. I’m running a aftermarket wiring, hornist plug-in play kit to run the LS
Can you tell me what that type you used is. Is it gaffer tape or friction tape. Thank you in advance
Type this into the Amazon search bar, and it should show up!
TESA BLACK FUZZY WIRE LOOM TAPE
Nice viedeo it's a good looking harness wat brand is it
Thank you! The link is in the description of the video! It all works flawlessly! I'm very happy with it!
