This is the first video that shows what i needed..I was going to buy a new harness with marked wires, but when I see how expensive it is, I decided to use my old one..Too bad I took it out without taking pictures, now I have a mess..this will help , thank you
Thank god! Someone has finally made a video fully describing and showing where the wires are routed. Thumbs down to ALL the other videos having to do with wiring. Thank you for finally putting out a video that clearly makes sense and no bs talking about their dang car instead of the wiring.
Very nice and I see and get what you’re doing but I don’t understand why you didn’t go with both electric water pump and fans simply for what they can do for your engine longevity and performance since they can be on and off while driving and after you shut off and walk away but again very nice
Because we wanted as close to a factory look in the engine bay as possible with our engine build and this car isn’t a daily driver, anyway. It’s a weekend cruiser and show car.
I am currently trying to wire my wiper motor. The yellow wire ACC 905 is on the inside of the cab but needs to be in the engine bay. Did you reroute it through the bulkhead connector? Or is that the one wire poking out through your firewall near your wiper? It is hard to tell what's happening because it is all taped up
The wiring kit we used did not have a yellow wire going to the wiper motor. It has a light blue wire and a white wire going to a connector that is for the wiper motor. The yellow wire inside the cab was for the clock in the dash. This is a link to the wiring diagrams/instructions for the wiring kit that we used for the Nova: api.americanautowire.com/shopify/instructions/500878_1969-72_Chevy_Nova_Classic_Update_Kit_First_Design.pdf
The wires themselves are all labeled. The text is most likely too small to show up in the video, but each wire is labeled (i.e. left turn indicator, headlights, side marker, etc) and there is a diagram in the wiring kit that also tells you which color wire is for what component so there are plenty of labels and diagrams to help someone understand what everything is for.
Loved your video. It helped me a lot. Where did you find that channel that you can tuck wires into at the top of your firewall? I don’t have that channel. I’d love to get one
Looks good

Loved the video where did you get the engine bay wiring harness
It’s from a complete update wiring kit made by American Autowire. We ordered it from John’s Classic Cars.

That is a Firewall Wiring Gutter. They can be found at a lot of different places. I just added a link to the one we ordered in the video description.
