We used to buy half gallon milk jugs of draft from a gas station in high school. Memories!

The CO2/tap system on the mini keg is ridiculously sized. I’m surprised none of the mfrs for the mini kegs have not come up with a more compact system to attach to the mini kegs.

I would personally highly recommend the hydro flask growler, it’s a solid product with a great seal, and outstanding thermal performance

I think you guys have a great channel and I can’t wait for it to take off. I love the consumer centric model you have. I love how you show where you buy it. I love how, by showing the product purchased, opened and consumed on camera, you hold these companies accountable for what’s in the can. I love that it’s not pretentious. It helps uphold standards and shows people how to be a knowledgeable consumer, which most people definitely aren’t, as someone who worked retail for years. We could use a good weed channel like this in California. All the weed channels seem aimed at babies. Also it’s really hard to find good weed while spending “normal people” money.

We try to give a fair assessment to everything we do on the channel from the average person's point of view. Glad you like the channel! - Special K

I found a pressurized growler that is called “trail keg” and is probably the most versatile of all...everything is interchangeable so you can change the faucet and your co2 source and even the thermos container if you want....and it’s from lexington Kentucky.

Sounds pretty cool. I will have to try and contact them some time, also according to their website they seem to be a Canadian company.
Drink tanks has somthing very similar, they actually sent us a bunch of their version recently, we should have a video up soon.

i wish 32 ounce pressurized growlers were available (or easier to find if they do exist); my main issue isnt keeping anything cold or out of the light, i have plenty of fridge space, i just want that carbonation retention. id love to split up 32 oz into two 12 oz portions + a half pint, and not be forced to drink all three of those servings within a couple days. its also not just preference of draft over bottles and cans, but the few local breweries i have around me have amazing prices, and dont do bottles or cans !! id love to take some beer home with me for a great price, but have the same convenience of making everything last that individual, smaller cans and bottles give you!

You could just fill the growler half way.

Ha funny intro. I’ve never had a growler but then again I’m not much of a beer drinker. Whiskey and bourbon is what I stay with. I learned a lot from this video. Thanks for the work in putting this channel together.

It looks like the Growler Grip / Growler Gasket is no longer available --- do you have a similar product that you would recommend? Thank you!

Great review and love the information. However, one thing you should mention is that there are a lot of states (18) that don't allow "plain" growlers to be sold. AND in those states, the growlers must have a label of the brewery and sealed.

In Louisiana we call 32oz a crowler in it comes in a big ass can. Not a pre canned can. It’s filled right off the tap.

Fuck does the guy in the white interrupt on purpose? It was definitely frustrating when the guy in black is educating us and then has to pause or change topic because of the interruptions
