I've tried everything to restore the System from USB Recovery. It recognizes drives in BIOS, but it fails any recovery attempt by saying it was not successful. What happens if I Reset to Factory settings? Out of options. Again, it boots from the USB Recovery drive, presents me with a menu but all diagnosis fails, all restore fails.
Hey so i did that and everything worked as I wanted to have a dual boot for windows and linux, but now when i go to to the BIOS it wont load and it will just bring a black screen with a white line that looks like a text thingy, what do i do and how do i fix it?
Helios 300 same windows version I try uefi boot from usb drive doesn’t boot now I try legacy it boot stuck on windows logo after then now I’m using dvd drive to legacy boot windows 10 version 1607 is installing. Try with external DVD drive I felt very sad can’t able to use laptop two weeks 10.Jun.2022 I hope above suggestion help you.
This helped me several times lately. It got me through some obstacles. Im trying to revive an ASUS Predator Helios 300. I just got a new SSD and was finally able to get an OS installed. (Linux Zorin) But im not having the same luck with Windows. When i start the WIN11 installation it sits at a black screen saying "Setup is starting" that seems to last for 20-30 minutes. After that it will progress through some options slowly, then take another 20-30 min when asking about what drive to install on. Its extremely slow and ultimately doesnt install WIN11. Any ideas why its behaving so slow and not working with the Windows installer? Ive tried several USBs. It seems like i might have someone in the BIOS set incorrectly.

help. is it possible to replace my standard ssd card of my predator with a new faster and bigger ssd as the new boot drive? i was thinking of cloning the old one on to the new one while installed on the empty slot of the computer. is it possible that the computer will boot from the dedicated slot? your reply is highly appreciated. thank you.
yes, is posible , you can install any graphics card same size or smaller than the original, and once you clone the ssd properly everything will look the same on software but faster.
@@TinoPerez RST error I boot my Zorin OS 16 pro I have a UEFI yes I disabled secure boot anyway he gives me the RST error again says restart the computer it is annoying because I can not dual boot and one day I will actually want to install this on external drive Zorin OS 16 pro a Linux distro I basically cant do anything I tried the Registery I tried the Command prompt nothing seems to work out for me do you know what could be wrong oh and how rude of me. My m.2 stoipped working i got noo botable device, so i bought an ssd partitioned it on another computer so it was windows ready, Put it into the predator. And windows cant find the hard drive but the bios in predator shows the hard drive. Now im stuck.
Solved. I had an USB drive with an ISO on it created with rufus in *MBR* sheme for classic *BIOS* systems, but what I needed was an USB drive with an ISO created with Rufus on *GPT* sheme for *UEFI* systems. Now it works. Great video thank you
These PCs are garbage. I went through 2 of them. Both gave me the same problems with error screens, and not booting up properly. The hard drives that come with them are crap. But that's all the computers today. Buy an SSD. Buyers beware. This PC is garbage. It's a total waste of money. I have owned many PCs, and all were reliable, but this one is different. It's very unreliable. You don't know when it's going to crap out on you. I would blame windows 10, but I have that running on a GPD win 2 just fine without any problems... and I had that device longer than the 2 predators I am about to sell.

At you 3:05 I don't get an option to boot from USB. I only have option ‘windows boot manager’
when you change the bios setting and set the usb as bootable device, automatically will boot from the installation usb as you see in the video!

You need to enable boot menu from the bios
