  • When choosing a budget ECU from the link ECU range it might be worth considering stepping from an Atom 2 up to the monsoon as for only a tiny bit more cash you get lots more ecu and a built in Map sensor.
The Cartune Company (2003) Ltd in New Zealand does 1uz and 3uz conversions / parts and wiring. We have been working on UZ Toyota V8 engines since 2004 when we did our own Hiace van to transport dirtbikes around NZ. Since then we have swapped to doing mainly just Lexus V8 work from a family owned farm hidden away in our paradise , surrounded by the NZ native bush. We sell parts and simple to follow wiring instructions for the 1uzfe engines. For enquiries email info@thecartunecompany.co.nz Take Care. Kelvin

I see Link have released a new line of ECU's (Monsoon X and Atom X) - have you had a chance to play with these yet - if so what's your take on them?

Sold one the other day. They are going to be awesome once a couple of bugs are ironed out.

The g4 and g4+ have different processors, different hardware and different software. Really they are borh different ecu. Generally both contain a speed density tune in with the base map some maybe you would be best to check the tune profile. Cheers Kelvin
