You spend a lot of hours testing new builds and combinations, bringing contents with sense, speaking clearly and always explaining why you use this instead of this, I don't use this 'cause of this etc, I really appreciate your effort, thank you man, you're the guy!
First build that enables me to finish T100, few tweaks for my style but this is hands down best build i've seen in all seasons and was able to put together easily.
Thanks for still doing D4 content. I'm still rocking your Blizz build which is pretty much maxxed out. I wish there was more to since I don't really need anything from duriel and Malp is boring to farm.
Interesting version of the build, will try it out! How do you feel this build compares to other top builds this season? Im playing a Lightning Druid now as my next character, comparatively it feels very strong vs the Sorc.
nice polish work. +1. the fact that the helm spot is taken by Starfall means the build’ll always be trailing Blizzard ice spike + x’fal, cuz of the 15x lost on Andariel for tal rasha. test with that setup, i killed beast in ice in about 1.5s, duriel 5s, etc. all that being said, fun in play style is not to be replace by raw strength.
You do know 99.9% of people still will never have an uber at all so banking on it is pointless. 100s of runs with my guild and only a few of us ever got any..
I tried the pure meteor build and hated it. Immediately switched back to blizzard. Now I’ve been running ball lightning with spear of lycander and it’s insanely fast for speed clearing t100s
I use hydra in a pure meteor build. Puts burn, adds to conjuration mastery. No xfals. It’s way faster for speedrunning and better more consistent damage.
Might try this version. Right now I use firebolt/ice blades ench with conjuration passive. Seems it works kinda nice with 6CDs and everything on screen burns procs Xfals. But I guess Firewall has higher proc vs firebolt for Xfals.
Hey boss, so i got the headpiece but no tal rashas and no xfalls on world tier 3, shpuld i keep ypur firewall leveling build until i can get all the pices? Or can i run it with just the helmet?
i been using you build but i use the fist of Fate with 300% dmg roll, and seems to do alot of dmg , way more than having the normal glove with AS, crit, and so on with 25% dmg while a barrier. Any thoughts on this? maybe i see bigger numbers on Blizz with Fist of fate but overall maybe the normal gloves better? ive tested it in NM 100s and also Duriel and Fist of Fate always seems to do better overall. Please let me know what u think?
thought the same, but been testing it alot and fist jst crits for 2-3mil alot of times where normal gloves i barely get to 1mil ticks the difference is Huge , id like u to test if you could. ty for the response love ur vids@@NickTew
I managed to build a meteor only build that can kill Son of Malphas and the Butcher in tier 100. It takes about two minutes tho, but is pretty tanky. Also kills echo of lilith, faster than the Son of Malphas lol. Everything else dies pretty quick. It might actually be hardcore capable.
@@NickTewonly tried Rogue and Barb myself before Sorc this season - thing i most enjoy about Barb and Sorc are the variety of fun builds; Rogue felt sweet with Twisting Blades and I hear Rapid Fire is strong now, but those feel like only two options
Pure meteor requires good roll items which is aim for good cdr+lucky hit + meteor helm 6 secs+ good tal rasha+ good xfal. Once all req satisfied youll be having 100% lucky hit+ crit + good def with army of swords that reduce cdr further. The pure meteor is not for everyone with no time to get gears😅
Not only that, people already made their builds, so now for anyone that made a gimmicky bouncing fireball meteor build, will have to get new gear. The problem is d4 is still going through balance in their builds that there is still new metas and even then, its not easy for people to test metas since it requires a lot of time to farm and even test. So while i appreciate people putting the time to make builds work, d4 has made it a miserable experience that still in s3 you have builds that are trying to be 'meta' but are gimmicky like the bouncing fireball meteor build for s3. I can tell blizzard doesnt want meteor or fireball to be OP on purpose because you can not see enemy attacks with everything on fire. Its only builds like lightning ball which look small, so you can see the enemy attacks that conveniently scale much better as a meta build. And again, thats just d4 as a game wasting peoples efforts and making people burn out when they have to refarm for what ever end game such as AoZ, or the gauntlet. s4 should be much better with itemization i assume, since reading 100 affixes per dungeons run is making eye doctors richer, and hopefully an actual trade system that at least streamers and some can benefit from but not casuals as much. Thats also another problem in how people are benefiting from the game in different ways out of the game.
I have over 100% Lucky hit (with Fortune), 40% CDR and a 6s Starfall helm. Pure Meteor still doesn't feel good to play because you still can't spam Meteor.
@@mcarr416ix I think there might be a mid season patch to rebalance the game, they should definitely buff meteors to be just as viable as other builds.
Since X'fals is a large portion of your damage I don't think it's ideal to put three curses on amulet, but if you want to see big meteor numbers then feel free
I just have on question.. what is that blue halo with fire skills. I trried to figure it out last season with fireeball.. is it a skill orr just graphic settings.. ? I use fireball..meteor and I dont have it..can smn explain it ?
For my build i get 100% crit and 96% lucky hit sadly no luck on getting 100% on both. I am doing full meters and it is a full cool down buld. I see issues with random mobs leftover after a hit but it kills everything. I got it off ragegaming if people are looking. I do think in the end blizzard builds are a better choice this season though.
Why would you ever give up on fire ball enchantment, chain reaction is so satysfing as it 1 shots, I would add fire ball, it still 1 shots by chain reaction with high movement speed
I want to try meteor build but how does it play on console ? Im only asking because pc players have more control placing the firewalls on the ground whereas on a controller it kind of goes anywhere or nearest monster I’m assuming i haven’t true it yet
I don't understand how your Xfals hits so hard, im lucky if i get 3 million to proc. I ligerally cannot find any way to inprove my gear at this point. Last season on my Necro I could proc 14-15 million with Xfals. Just doesnt feel like the Sorc can scale it enough. I have no issue clearing nm or vault 100s, but all vsriations on this build don't feel like enough, and i still can't seem to scale Xfals as much as you here.
@@Underfaith sure 🤣 I moved on from the Sorc for now - been playing Lightning Storm Druid this week and it makes all versions of this Meteor Sorc feel very underwhelming.
Im sure there are work around but this is more of an end game build when you have all of theae required peices for it to work like this. If you dont have everything you probably sholdnt be playing it nr complaining about it not working or asking for gear replacements
Normal legendary pants is fine, use any defensive legendary you prefer. Just make sure to put resource support on your pet as your mana won't feel great without it

also a note on “why teleport version is safer” - you teleport a lot, each time it triggers protection passive for the barrier, which is 40% hp.

Is it not worth moving 3 paragon points around to be able to grab Flame Touched in the Searing Heat Board for an extra 20% fire damage?

Blizzard is definitely better and its not the best build out there, but its still very good for leveling and doing t100s

What makes your firewalls and meteors blue? Do they get stronger? Mine are just regular
When you get 10 ranks in a skill they turn blue. It’s purely visual

but sucks killing boss, I've switched today to this Meteor build to test how it works with bosses

You keep saying the point of firewall in this build is not damage but to apply burning. Then why not going with firebolt enchant instead?

the loss of crit makes it not worth it IMO

what can i use until i have a X'Fal's Corroded Signet
U can get xfals easy on duriel

Above skill rank 10 it does that
I try everything and I can't kill the echo of Lilith nothing works no matter what I try the paragon is done as this guys show it on their videos.

I played fireball meteor on ps4. It’s a lot of fun. No issues with aim even before I got the helm.

Not sure. The gear I showed is exactly what I used when I got all the footage.
