Thank you Sherry!!! Make sure you get a good Ott light and have good magnification!!! It is key. I also wear reading glasses in addition to the light and magnification. Do whatever you need to do so you can see. Let us know how it goes!!! Hugs!!!
Please don’t think any less of me, but I bought The Botanical Sticker book for my mother-in-law for Christmas. It was wrapped and under the tree. She’s a lovely lady, but...I needed the stickers! 😂 We gave her a beautiful William Morris plant pot instead! I love watching you two ladies. But Laura, when you talked about the Lori Holtz January PS color change I laughed because I had the same reaction when I saw it! I need to find that color green book!!
Happy New Year. So excited for another year of your videos. So many beautiful stitches and so much enabling. Have a great day ladies. See you next time.
Had to comment how much I enjoy your videos. I watch the videos on my TV and forget to leave a comment later. Thank you for the inspiration and fun! Your friendship shines through. I am fairly new to cross stitch and found out about Dyeing to Stich from you two lovely ladies. My ears perked up when you all mentioned Dyeing to Stitch being in Virginia Beach. As it turns out I live about 13 miles from the store. High tailed it there back in July, serious sensory overload. Thanks again for your fun videos! Happy 2021.
13 miles from Dyeing to Stitch????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to faint!!!! Well, you must be at the next retreat whenever it is!!!! Did you talk to Ann at Dyeing to Stitch??? If you need anything, she is your go to gal! We are seriously jealous Carolee!!!! Have fun!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Next time I am in Dyeing to Stitch I will be sure to meet Ann if she is there. The store had so many beautiful things to look at, I could have spent all day just admiring the stitching up on the walls! Happy Friday.
I know I repeat myself all the time , but I love your videos. The stitching is great and the conversation is always positive. There are charts and floss and thread out there that aren’t my favorite, but I always appreciate the art, talents, and time it took to create them. There is something for everybody. Thanks for your time and talents!
Watching this was my reward for taking down all of the Christmas stuff and putting it away. As always, thank you for lots of smiles and chuckles and enablement. Notes have been taken and orders placed. Let’s hope that 2021 is as joyful as you two are. xxjenny
Thanks Jenny!!! Good for you for doing that big chore first...you have more self control than I do!!!! Let's hope that 2021 sees us face to face! Love you!
So happy to welcome the New Year in with the two of you!! I agree with you that there had better be some retreat stitching this year!! Looking forward to Silver Needle! I loved seeing what the two of you have been working on; always so pretty and inspiring. I loved Lori Holt’s video too; Teresa Kogut also does finishing of her pieces using old books, love it. I also bought the “old needlepoint” fabric from Kitten Stitcher; I really like it too. Laura, I like your idea about doing seasonal stitching for the Wipgo. I am waiting on my Brenda Keyes Sampler Motif book to come; can’t wait after seeing it on your FT. I loved the things from your gift exchange; such gorgeous handmade items, which are just the best ever - happy for both of you. It was so good to see you both. Big hugs and happy stitching.......
Hi friends! Fun to see all of your sweet gifts. You bring so much to the stitching community, and it’s nice to see some of that coming back to you! ❤️ - Sheri
Love your video! My first counted cross stitch was on linen . I was shown by lady at Thumbelina in Solvang California in 1975. And then after a few years I found aida and then back to linen. I saw Lori Holt floss tube. I absolutely love Prairie Schooler but I rarely change colors and not Prairie Schooler But it was amazing. Carol's husband does make the shaker boxes. I have a set on order. Cant wait.
Thanks Darleen!!!! Did you have pea soup when you were in Solvang, CA? I remember that is where I had it at Pea Soup Andersons! Although you would not catch me eating pea soup anymore. Peas...yuch! Anyway, thanks for watching and loved hearing how you started stitching!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I did go to Anderson's. I lived at Vandenburg Air force base for 4years I did have pea soup once. We went there often. Just to say I had it. I too hate peas🤨
What a lovely episode again - thank you for stitching my stuff... if I didn't spend every minute stitching my own stuff ('coz I have to) I'd be seriously tempted by the lovely samplers you ladies show each episode!
Thanks so much Jacob!!! We are honored that you watched! We could all be happy for the rest of our lives just stitching your charts!!! Everything is amazing, gorgeous and delightful!!! Happy New Year!
As soon as Laura showed the PDF of ‘Little Lamb’ after Brenda showing her gift I went shopping. A must to stitch this year. Loved your basket Laura and with my birthday next month I’m going to ask hubby for that. Happy New Year ladies and plenty of stitching. Blessings to you both.
So much lovely shared in this episode. I always walk away adding a few more items to my wish list. :) I hope you both had wonderful holidays filled with family, fun and some relaxation.
This was another great video! I love all your plans and projects, and those wonderful gifts. Thanks for clarifying wipgo. I'll have to go watch the Michelle the striped rose video as it sounds like a very interesting way to work on some projects that need a little more love.
Thank you for another wonderful video! Hope you guys have a wonderful year! I am so looking forward to all the new things that you guys will be showing us. You keep me laughing and I love you guys! God Bless!
Happy belated birthday Laura..and thanks as always for the enabling...wishing you both and all your families a healthy safe and happy new year...Cheers!
It was such a pleasure to share my Sunday evening with you. My husband usually looks the other way from my mess/stash for cross-stitch, quilting, and Nantucket basket making. However, he is always very supportive, encouraging, and complimentary of my projects. Happy New Year!
I love your videos. They are so much fun. You all have talked me into starting a sampler. Sweetheart Hill by Plum Street Samplers. I’m enjoying it so much. Keep our spirits up and encouraging us. Thank you!
That is so cool!!! Definitely, great minds think a like! Brenda totally underestimates the time it takes to stitch something for us mere mortals!!!! Hope all is well down there in Texas! Love you!
Thank you for introducing me to Book of Days. FYI on Amazon a search for Dover Sticker Books revealed several $1.99 cute sticker books. ;-) Of course my husband looking over my shoulder thinks I am on the road to my second childhood.!
I don’t cross stitch but I love watching you. (I am a knitter mostly and maker). you make me feel great. On another note I rescued a sampler on linen from a thrift store for $4.00. It was done in 1984. The style is not my thing but I would send it to either of you to give it a proper home. if you are interested I can email you a picture of it. It appears to be professionally framed. Also when I do occasionally cross stitch I use 14 count aida. 😗You ladies amaze me with your skill.
Thanks so much Gloria!!!!!! Would love to see a picture of it! You can email me, Laura, at duetabode@comcast.net Thank you for watching!!! We sure appreciate it!
Once again, a very entertaining video. Laura, Teresa Kogut has finished many of her designs on old books. I have to agree with you, I love the idea and the look is great.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 ua-cam.com/video/ZzpdzTysCjU/v-deo.html Here is the link to a tutorial that she did. She also talks about this type of finishing throughout most of her flosstube videos.
Thank you again for always mentioning one over one stitching on your samplers. Now I can choose a sampler for sure because I am an Aida stitcher. Happy New Year to you both! Barb
I ordered the Motif Book from Silver Needle and WOW!!! Is all I can say. How many times have I wanted to add something or change something and this is the answer!!!! I have ordered some sampler/kits and really don’t want to do them either. Using the floss/silk for something else as well as the cherished fabric is what I planned to do as well. Everyone was crazy over one of these samplers I got, but for some reason, not me. I am amazed how you remember names and floss tube names. I am the worst when it comes to names. I’ve even forgotten mine when I got so excited meeting some girls I really wanted to meet. One of my weaknesses but I sure can remember how to get somewhere even if it’s been years since I’ve been. Strange how we have talents in different ways. I started Ann Morrison as well and it’s going really s....l...o....w... because I am sure the count must be at least 50. The top for 46 count is to be 7.13 and mine is only 6.70. No wonder I have to wear double cheaters!!! Have a great week! Thank you for your video!
Thanks so much Connie! Glad to hear that you too have used the floss and linen in kits for other things. That is true about the linen especially, it is like gold these days!!!!! Your Ann Morrison will be so amazing when its done. Things that are tiny like that look extra special and glorious!
So much eye candy! Such lovely pieces and lots of inspiration, as always! Stitching is therapy and here's hoping we won't need as much therapy during 2021 and can just totally enjoy our stitching for the pleasure it is! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit with us!
Just want let you know how much i enjoy seeing all of your video's and seeing the samplers you do. Both of your stitching id beautiful. The only thing i see wrong with your video's is i want to go out and buy all you show.
I love Lori Holt's Prairie Schooler conversion too!! I almost fell off my chair when you gals said you didn't care for that one pattern. LOL, I have never heard you say you didn't like something. That is OK, I appreciate the honesty. Happy New Year Ladies!!
Thanks Linda! I guess that is part of getting older...have to say what we think. I started the PS with Lori Holt's conversion last night and it is going to be fun!!!
My husband came in and actually sat down and watched you all today. Shock!! His assessment - I can see why you enjoy them”. 😊. Sometimes they DO get it🤣

Happy New Year! Wishing you both much health, happiness, and many retreats in 2021. So happy it’s Brenda and Laura Sunday. My sticker book arrived tonight. So excited. Thank you for the enabling and sharing your stitching and knowledge. 💕
Happy New Year to you both! Loved today's episode, as always. I love all of your gifts, oh my, what treasures! Love your Little Lamb, Brenda, great finishing, I would not have thought of that. I stitched this 2 years ago and need to get it framed, Laura, you will enjoy stitching it! Have a great couple of weeks!
You girls are just the best! You inspire me and I go racing to my stash! Don't think WIPGO is for me, but stitching what I love or what sings to my heart always works.
Another wonderful visit from ya'll. I like samplers but I don't like 1 over 1 or words (very much anyway). The Wipgo using seasonal pieces if brilliant...I always plan to do one a month and I never do!! Thanks ladies!
Happy New Year to you both! Laura - you don't have to choose all your WIPs/designs for WIPGO right away. I have put goals in my squares (stitch 10 days, finish a 2020 start, etc) and then I'll pick the WIP when the square is called. You could easily do several "stitch Christmas" or "Stitch Halloween" and then make a decision later ;) Just a thought to help you get started. I look forward to seeing the year unfold with your beautiful projects!
Thanks so much Annette!!!!!! I ended up picking out some projects and am excited! I even worked on one last night. Will show them on Sunday! Woohooo!! Your ideas are great!!

Thank you so much Melissa!!!!!!!!! Happy New Year!!!!
Thank you both so much. Your videos are like visiting with friends. 💜 Stay well. Wishing you a Happy, Healthy New Year.💜
Thank you Anne!! That is so sweet of you to say!!! Happy New Year!
Thank you for your wonderfully uplifting comments Pam!!!
Happy New Year!!!!! whooohooo!!!!! Another year with Brenda and laura!!!! That means its all good!!!!!
Awwwww!!! Thanks so much!!! Happy New Year!
Wonderful as usual. Appreciate the work you put into these floss tube videos.❤️🥰 because we couldn’t live without them. 👍
Thanks so much Betty!!!!!!! We have such fun making them!
❤️❤️❤️!!!!
Thanks Pam!!!!! I hope we are together at Silver Needle!!!!!!!!! Hugs!!!
Hi friends! Fun to see all of your sweet gifts. You bring so much to the stitching community, and it’s nice to see some of that coming back to you! ❤️ - Sheri
Thank you very much Sheri!!!!!! That is very kind of you to say! Hugs!
Love your video! My first counted cross stitch was on linen . I was shown by lady at Thumbelina in Solvang California in 1975. And then after a few years I found aida and then back to linen. I saw Lori Holt floss tube. I absolutely love Prairie Schooler but I rarely change colors and not Prairie Schooler
But it was amazing.
I lived at Vandenburg Air force base for 4years
I did have pea soup once.
I enjoy watching you two ladies. You stitch the most beautiful samplers and all your patterns. Just love your flosstube!!
Thank you very much Sandra!!!!! We appreciate your kind words!
Thanks Clare! I got the DMC for Little Lamb on the way home! Will start soon!!!!!! Happy New year!
So much lovely shared in this episode. I always walk away adding a few more items to my wish list. :) I hope you both had wonderful holidays filled with family, fun and some relaxation.
Thanks so much Michelle!!!!!!!! We hope you had a wonderful holiday too!!! I think we all need another one!
I look forward to your videos. You are both such an inspiration.
Thank you so much Karen!!! That is awfully nice of you to say!
This was another great video! I love all your plans and projects, and those wonderful gifts. Thanks for clarifying wipgo. I'll have to go watch the Michelle the striped rose video as it sounds like a very interesting way to work on some projects that need a little more love.
Thanks so much Donna!!!!!! Yes, definitely watch Michelle's videos. They are so much fun!!!
Thank you for another wonderful video! Hope you guys have a wonderful year! I am so looking forward to all the new things that you guys will be showing us. You keep me laughing and I love you guys! God Bless!
Thank you two tons Vicki!!!!!! Happy New Year!!!!
Happy belated birthday Laura..and thanks as always for the enabling...wishing you both and all your families a healthy safe and happy new year...Cheers!
Happy New Year Susan!!!!!!!!!!!
It was such a pleasure to share my Sunday evening with you. My husband usually looks the other way from my mess/stash for cross-stitch, quilting, and Nantucket basket making. However, he is always very supportive, encouraging, and complimentary of my projects. Happy New Year!
Thanks Marjorie!!!!!! Yes, my husband is the same...but even I think my mess is getting out of control!!! New year's resolution??
I love your videos. They are so much fun. You all have talked me into starting a sampler. Sweetheart Hill by Plum Street Samplers. I’m enjoying it so much. Keep our spirits up and encouraging us. Thank you!
Thanks Mary!!! So excited that you are starting Sweetheart Hill!!!! It is so beautiful!!!!!!! Hugs!
You guys make Sunday so special. When I see your video is up, I immediately have to watch! Love you guys! Take care!
That is so nice of you to say (and do!) Thanks Julie!!!!
Thank you lady’s for your time and stitching always a pleasure♥️ stay safe!
Thank you so much Margaret! Happy New Year!
So funny, Laura. When I got the Basket of Cheer pattern, I also got the Merry Yuletide pattern. GMTA! Oh, and Brenda, yeah, not a two day stitch! 😂
Thank you Mary......going to look at that now..........We probably never left our first childhood!!!!!
You ladies always make me smile & laugh! I love seeing what you are doing! Thank you as always.
Thank you so much Kari!!!!
I love you two. I have never attempted a sampler, but I always look forward to your video because I might see one to try.
Thanks so much Billie!!!!!! I hope you find one.....but if you don't, just enjoy stitching on your favorite things!
Happy New Year 🎈🎊🎆. Always wonderful seeing you.
Thank you so much!!!! Happy New Year!
Thank you ladies. Wonderful as usual.
Thank you Marsha!!!
Happy New Year, glad to catch up with you two fabulous peeps. Loved your starts and plans.
Happy New Year Suzanne!!!!! Thanks for watching!
Wonderful video. Loved all your projects and gifts.
Thank you very much~!!
Once again, a very entertaining video. Laura, Teresa Kogut has finished many of her designs on old books. I have to agree with you, I love the idea and the look is great.
I need to watch Teresa's videos!!!!! Does she show the finishes on floss tube? Thanks Lisa!!!
Barb
Happy New Year Barb! Luckily they are plenty of samplers without any over one!!!!! What were those girls thinking!!!
Thank you so much Chrie!!!
You gals crack me up! Everyone needs a good stitching friend; glad you have each other
Thank you so much yts mom!!!!
Just want let you know how much i enjoy seeing all of your video's and seeing the samplers you do. Both of your stitching id beautiful. The only thing i see wrong with your video's is i want to go out and buy all you show.
Thanks Gaila!!!!!!!!! Yes, there are so many great things to stitch!!!
Thank you so much for being here to keep me company. I love EVERYTHING you dear ladies show/stitch.
Thank you so much for watching Patricia!!! Hugs!
Another amazing video! So many great ideas. TY and Happy New Year🎉🌟🎉🌟🎉🍅🍅🍅❌❌❌
Thank you so much Mary!!! Happy New Year!
So great to see you all again!!! It had seemed like alot longer than 2 weeks! So much inspiration. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Lois!!!! Yes, it was a lot of stuff packed into those two weeks!!!! Happy New Year!
😊. Sometimes they DO get it🤣
My husband loves these two also. It’s amazing what he notices and some of his comments ❤️.
@@Stitchingplanet_Janet I know! he even looked up the Prarie Schooler pattern - but I notice he didn’t order it🤣🤣🤣
Oh my starts. That is amazing. Please tell him thank you! And thank you for letting us know Brenda!
@@Stitchingplanet_Janet Thanks Janet!!!!!!!!!
I just re-read my answer. It is supposed to be oh my stars!!!!! Hah!!!! but I said starts!!! Well that works for me too!
Thanks, ladies. Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year!
Happy New Year Nan!
I look forward to Brenda and Laura Days like you just don't know. I love watching your camaraderie as well as the bountiful inspiration. xx Michele
Thank you very much Michele!!!!! You know as soon as you have a new video I am there stat!!!!!! Love your projects and thanks for the Wipgo inspiration!!!! Hugs from both of us to you!

Thank you Vickie!!!
Beautiful stitchy things girls❤️❤️❤️ The little gift which is a box with a zipper is so cute! Just got the pattern to make one, maybe two😁 Have a great week ladies🤓
Thank you so much!!!! Happy Making!!!! It is a wonderful little present!
Happy New Year! Wishing you both much health, happiness, and many retreats in 2021. So happy it’s Brenda and Laura Sunday. My sticker book arrived tonight. So excited. Thank you for the enabling and sharing your stitching and knowledge. 💕
Happy New Year Bunny! Glad you got a sticker book!!! It is really fun to add those to the months.
Happy New year ladies!! Always so excited to c a new video from you.😊
Thank you Trieva!!!! Wishing you a very happy new year!!!!
Thanks so much Cindy!!!!! Yes, I cannot wait to start Little Lamb!!! Will do so this week I am sure. Happy Stitching!
You girls are just the best! You inspire me and I go racing to my stash! Don't think WIPGO is for me, but stitching what I love or what sings to my heart always works.
That sounds great Betty!!! I totally agree with you! We shall see if I get my rear in gear and get that WIPGO thing in order this week! Hugs!
The best ‘shenanigans’ ever!! Thank you, wonderful ladies ♥️💙
Thank you for watching Marion!!!!
Another wonderful visit from ya'll. I like samplers but I don't like 1 over 1 or words (very much anyway). The Wipgo using seasonal pieces if brilliant...I always plan to do one a month and I never do!! Thanks ladies!
Thanks Suzy!!! I just got my WIPGO holiday charts sorted out and I am excited!
Loved a visit with you this afternoon. Hope you have a great stitchy 2021
Thank you so much Lynette!!! Happy New Year!
Enjoy your video very much. Also love the shoutouts.❤️☮️🇨🇦
Thanks so much Deb!!
Thanks for sharing ladies!! So lovely to stitch along while I watch you! I also saw the Lori Holt video and it was fabulous! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Thanks so much Chris!!!!! Glad you watched Lori Holt's video too!!!! Amazing!
Thank you ladies for a fun flosstube to start my New Year off with a lot of smiles! Love you guys!
Thanks so much for watching Cleta!!! Hugs!
