Happy birthday, Brenda🎂. I’m new to flosstube this summer and have found you two wonderful gals. I’ve watched up to #20 and have learned so much. I’ve been a quilter for 38 years. And now I’m collecting ALL the Blackbirds!! I live in Yorktown so I guess Dyeing to Stitch will be my LNS. Thanks for all the fun and I loved your home tour this past year. What a talent you both are and it’s nice to see how y’all support each other and educate your viewers!! Thanks Laura for setting me straight on all the rules. 🥰. Blessings to you both. ~~ Karen McFaddin
Thank you Karen!!!!!! So glad you are collecting all the Blackbirds!!!! They are fun to look through over and over and over! You have a great LNS in Dyeing to Stitch!!!!!! What fun!
I teared up with you Brenda, when you were showing your friends card, at the end of the video. When half of our life is working, the people become like family. Some of my best memories are from working with Doctors and medical personal. As a retired nurse, I miss those days even with all the stress. Hang in there Brenda, and don’t let the Turkeys get you down. Laura, I like your wipgo pieces. I had seen that word floating around on IM but wasn’t sure what it was. Now I know. Have a great two weeks and post your progress on IM. ❤️❤️
Well dear Brenda, I cried during the last part of the video. Thank you for all your kind words. You know I feel the same way about you. ❣️❣️❣️ I too miss you every day. I feel bad about the stress you are experiencing and wish I could be there so you would have someone to share your frustrations. Remember that you are better than anyone else there! And on the stitching subject, you have helped me today to get over a mistake I made and move on. ☺️ You two still are the best Floss Tubers - funny, informative and always inspiring. So glad you take the time to do videos every other week. 👍🥰❤️
Hi Bonnie!!! Laura here......I loved hearing about your friendship with Brenda and I hope that the two of you can hang out again as soon as possible!!!!!! Sending you lots of love!!!!
Today is my birthday! I'm turning 70 YIKES!!! The 3 of us share a birthday month, how awesome is that? I've only been cross stitching for almost a year and a half, I am a quilter, sewer, crafter and have been since I could hold a needle or use scissors. Working with my hands gives me pleasure and feeds my soul. Not everyone understands these passions that we have and that's okay, we do it for the love of it. You thank us for lifting you up but you girls lift all of us up just by coming into our lives every 2 weeks......when it is the off week I go back and repeat a previous video! Gotta have my fix! When I see your floss tube is up I get "the triple H"! Seriously! I'm not a usual commenter (I need to get better at that, I have comments in my head during the whole video but can't seem to get a comment sent). Friendships are truly treasures and it is plain to see you have a special friendship between you and have found many more in this wonderful community. Oh and did I mention I live in Arizona and live only 20 minutes from The Attic! :):):) THANK YOU for sharing your talent and your time with us! Return the DMC???? BRAHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday Dyann!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a great time celebrating! Thanks for your lovely comments!!! I am the same way when watching floss tubes...I have lots of comments and then forget what they are by the end.....But I am glad to hear that you have a triple H when our video goes up. That just means the world to us. You live 20 minutes from the Attic??????????????????????? oh my stars! We would be broke for sure if we lived that close. Or we would just have to rent some space and live in the other space next door!!! Hugs!!!!
Okay you two. My husband says that you are enablers. Hahaha. Lol. I said to him during dinner that you say, “buy all the Blackbirds”. I bought two of their books on 123 Stitch today, a ton of Blackbird and Plum Street patterns and now I am officially shut off. Just kidding. I love your channel and your sparkling personalities. I follow many Flosstubers now and you are both on the top of my list. ❤️❤️
Thanks so much for your wonderful videos and funny stories ! I sometimes wait a day or two to watch when i have some quiet time, and sometimes watch in segments to stretch it out! ( but that’s hard to do) Yes, Brenda, good idea to stitch some easy Stitch smalls to get you thru your busy work times. Love to see all of your stitching and enabling.
Bless you sweet girls! What a special treat it is every other Sunday to see your happy faces and hear you gush and giggle over all the beautiful needlework you share with us. You have no idea what a joy it is to watch your videos. This pandemic has cheated all of us from sharing time with friends and loved ones but how faithful you both have been to bring happiness to everyone that watches you. Thank you so much for spending your precious time to cheer us all along on our stitching journeys. Take care of yourselves.
Brenda and Laura, not only do you make the stitching world even more fabulous (if there were Oscars for flosstubers, you both would win Best Flosstubers... unanimously!) but you have become a treasured part of my, and many others, stitching life. Yesterday I hopped in my car and went to checkout Inspired Needle (from South Elgin) and spent $350...that was because of you, lol! I now have another shop to inspire me...that was because of you. I have had a gut churning, trauma filled last few years (not because of you!) but am finding joy, friendship, community, beauty, and laughter again...and that dear Brenda and Laura is most certainly because of you! Thank you.
Oh thank you Teresa!!!!!!! So glad that our little videos have inspired you! and so glad that you shopped at Inspired Needle!!!! I was there yesterday for a thread run and really went to town! Sending you lots of hugs!
Happy Belated Birthday, Brenda! Sunday was my 65th bday! Cheers! 🎉🍻 One of the reasons I love watching your floss tube videos is the friendship you and Laura share! Your friend Bonnie's card was super thoughtful & beautiful! You are blessed! 🥰🤗🙏
Oh my gosh you make me cry with your heartwarming comments on friendship. They truly are the most precious treasures. I feel like you’re my friends. I can’t tell you what joy you have given me these past few months. Bless you both and keep safe and well 💖💖💖💖💖
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRENDA! Glad you a wonderful day. It's always good to celebrate a birthday. Oh my, so funny-returning a skein of floss-LOL! And, Laura, how many different tools do our husbands have? Mike, on a first name with Brenda Gervais? So funny. Good he's taking an interest. So glad to hear the Dutch Sampler is coming out for release. Can't wait! Brenda, lovely Jane Southworth. You are right, the Attic's conversion is beautiful. I might need to call Jean. Can't wait to see the Loose Feather's heart stitched. Have a great two weeks, ladies.
Happy Belated Birthday Brenda! 🎂🎉🥇🛍🎈🪡🧵. Love you ladies! This may sound corny, but when I stitch in the evenings, I think of you both and find comfort in our “virtual friendship,” knowing you are stitching too! Wishing you both oodles of stitching time! 😘
Thank you both. What joy to have discovered you (well, recommended by UA-cam .. Sometimes they get it just right)! I am addicted to your channel. I'm watching all your videos from the very first one. Sometimes I watch them twice, sometimes three times. You do a great job together. It really is like spending time with friends. I love it. Thank you for all the contagious joy you bring to my life.
Thank you so much for sharing all of your goodness. I also have a special friend whose name is Bonnie; something about that name. You are both a treasure to the stitching community and all who know you. God bless.
I always get excited when the two of you post a new video!! Men just don't understand that we can never have enough floss, silk fabric, charts, thread keeps, etc! I ordered the Anniversaries of the Heart charts today....well all but 3 that are out if stock. I'm collecting the Garden Club charts too. I better live till 500 years old so I can stitch all things!! Having a friend that truly "gets" you is and is with you in the good times as well as the bad times is priceless!! I am blessed to have a few really wonderful friends. Happy Stitching!!
I had to laugh about returning the floss! What! If I grab a floss and get 2 in my hand, it goes in My basket anyway. So funny. You are both such a dose of sunshine. Thanks again.
Thank you both for sharing yourselves with all of us. You make me smile and it’s a great escape from all the stuff that’s not fun. Can’t wait to see you both again. Be well.
Awww, poor Brenda. I could see you were tired out from your hard days at work this time. And missing Bonnie at work probably didn't help. Loved seeing everything as always. Laura, the Sue of the new flosstube you found (Floss Toss) is the Sue of the Sue and Chelsea that I thought matched Priscilla and Chelsea in the stitching world (I thought you said Sue at the time. Whoops!). Sue and her daughter run a yarn dyeing business, and Sue has a wonderful eye for dyeing yarn! She's a good knitter too, as is her daughter. Rachel is also a wonderful knitter. So I started watching them as knitters before their flosstube started. Love their flosstube too! Now I have to go back and find out what that GiGiR piece was that Brenda said had the silk conversion from the Attic. OMG, that was a stop and gasp piece for me!
Thanks Margaret!!! The Attic has a lot of silk conversions for Gigi R charts...but the one that Brenda showed most recently was Jane Southward. You must have a lot of floss/knit tubes to watch with your dual hobbies!!!!! Hugs!
Hi girls, such a welcome flosstube. Woo hoo Laura has a finish! I think wipgo is going to be great for you. Can't wait to see some more finishes. Brenda so glad you had a nice birthday. Please take care of yourself during tax season. Do something for yourself each day, even if it is for 15 minutes. Sending much love ❤️
Back in 2010 I took a transcription job downtown ( I had worked from home previously). When the supervisor who hired me moved out of state, I took her position and she worked for me in her new home state. Over the years we have become good friends as we both love needleart and we both know what the job entails!! She is still working from home for the same company but I had to retire a couple of years ago. My husband and I recently bought our burial plots and lo and behold we will be just a few spots away from where my friend will be buried eventually and where her husband and son have been laid to rest. Forever friends and “neighbors“!!! lol I love watching you two and hearing and seeing all things crossstitch!! Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us! 💖🌟😊
That is an incredible story!!!!!!! What kind of transcription? I was a medical transcriptionist for several years. I really kind of liked it....but it was not easy. Thanks for your fun and interesting comments!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yes, it was medical transcription! My bachelors degree was in medical technology (lab) so with just remote learning classes I easily made the jump to transcription. For the first 10 years at home my work was every specialty all across the country. When I worked downtown, it was for a large pediatric cardiology practice here in NV. I loved doing transcription, but the pay went down with EHR and drs doing their own documenting. The drs accents when I worked nationally were really difficult. My local practice was so much easier and the drs worked hard trying to be clear for us so that even the ones with an accent were very quick to type up. I missed it terribly the first six months after retiring but flosstube and the extra stitching time took care of that!! 😊
I just got all caught up on all of your videos - went allll the way back to the start and loved every minute of it. It started with Brenda's recent home tour, which popped up as a recommended video and was so INCREDIBLE that I just watched it a second time when it came up in chronological order among your videos!! I'm not even a sampler stitcher (YET!) but was so inspired by everything you showed. I loved that you said everything you have in your home is special to you in some way and has meaning, and you can certainly tell that's the case. I mostly stitch smalls, ornaments, serial starting of things, but I've been itching to start an actual sampler. I've just seen so many great ones in your videos, I haven't decided where to start!! Anyway, thanks for the lovely content!
Happy Birthday Brenda! I hope it was a good day! I have to confess that work has been very stressful, it’s exhausting! I pray that it calms for you as well. I only get to stitch for maybe 30 minutes a day during the week, the weekend is when I get a lot of stitching done. I want to enjoy it!! Which brings me to last times excitement over the Kathy Barrick Christmas project, still haven’t started it Laura, but it’s next up!! Can’t wait! I’m doing the house on Christmas at Hollyberry Farm... love it. Decided I had to finish the house before I could start anything. And then I’ll do an ornament and start Kathy Barrick. You pulled that out of your Wipgo and I was so excited, all over again!! Y’all make my day, your banter and friendship plus all the stitching goodness!! Thank you for sharing!! PS: the framed FOF is beautiful!! and I laughed my hinder off over returning one DMC, LOLOLOL!! Also when Brenda says ‘we’re not in a very big spot Laura’ 😂😂 Have the best couple weeks ladies!!! PSS: I hope the BBD heart stitch is coming along!! Even though it’s 32ct that fabric is too pretty!!
Oh my gosh... how much joy do you guys bring to my day? Sometimes I have to wait a few Days to watch just to be sure I can soak up every minute ! And because I’m a giant baby I of course was teary at the end. Treasure those friendships for sure ❤️❤️ thank you gals!!
I spend all your videos going "oh , that's lovely!" "Wow, that is beautiful!" , "wonderful! What a lovely sampler", "oh my goodness , that is just adorable"... Every time you show something😀
Ok where have you both been all my stitching life!! This is my first time watching and I am so grateful I did. Thank you and looking forward to catching up on your previous videos. Stay safe and well, happy stitching!!
So happy when it's a Brenda and Laura Sunday!!! You both make me smile and sometimes cry ...like this week. I'm an accountant Brenda....I feel your pain. Not one to wish away my life but come in April 15th :-). Have a great two weeks ladies.
Laura, your January PS sampler is gorgeous!!! Love the colour changes and will definitely check Lori's flosstube. Brenda, your drums are just amazing! What a fabulous idea to repurpose and revitalize pieces you still love. Feast of Friendship is magnificent!!! It was fun to see your WIPGO choices! Friends are the best and I am so thankful that you guys share yours with us - you are both such inspirations. Thanks as always. Stay safe and happy stitching.
You ladies are just wonderful! What a boon you add to my day. You are both instructive, funny funny funny, gracious to each other and so informative. You are a blessing. Up here and way east in Maine we do not have a LNS and I don't know anyone who does needlework on linen so you are a huge blessing in my life. Thank you for all you do to inspire, inform and instruct. Beribear from Maine
Thank you Beri!!! I think there is a Facebook group of stitchers from Maine...see if you can find it. I think there are lots of stitchers in your beautiful state. Not sure how close, but just maybe there is someone near to you. Thank you for your kind words!
What a sweet and touching video. You two have such a beautiful friendship and I love how you can laugh together. You always make me laugh and I love to see your projects. Thank you.
I LOVE you guys!! You are my favorite flosstubers. I have now, as of tonight, gone to episode 1 and will binge watch them all. Well, with a brief intermission of Jean Farish. 🥰🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗🤗
I always look forward to your video - watching you both makes my day :). Your friendship is a joy to see and your stitching is a great enabler. And happy birthday Brenda :)). I wish you a wonderful stitchy year!!
Great floss tube today! I save them and usually take two or more days to watch because I want my Brenda/Laura fix to last a bit longer. Also, you two enablers! I bought two needle minders from the company in California Laura mentioned. One for my sister who does not even sew or cross stitch but loves all things for Halloween and the one about being the daughters of the witches you didn't get back in good old Salem sort of fits my mood right now.
Laura, you are pretty cool. I love that you have a spread sheet and you sound like you're going to do great! Short enough time to be excited by the project but long enough to get ahead. I like your style Laura! Brenda- Hope work stops irritating the crap out of you. We've all been there. My dad was an accountant (recently retired) and this time of year was hard for him too. I'm thinking aboutcha. -M
Well, I tried the method of hanging floss from a drop card that you have described twice. Gloriana 12 strand silk on their own card (I still keep the whole thing in a floss bag). But...perfection. One clean strand from the bunch and I am not wearing expensive silk strands on my clothing outside or to the kitchen. Thank you!
I am gobsmacked! Being mentioned in a Brenda & Laura Flosstube is such an honor. ❤️ I’ve been stitching for over 40 years and have never set foot in an LNS. (I live in a stitching wasteland). Your videos make me feel like I’m accompanying you both on your LNS visits...and make me a bit jealous, too. 😉 You’re both so inspirational!
Karen!!!!! Never set foot in an LNS! As soon as this Covid thing is over you have to go to a retreat with us!!!! You simply absolutely must go to a LNS!!!!!!!!! I am not kidding!!!!!!! Get ready!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 OMG, that sounds like heaven! If you think that the LNS thing is bad, you’re going to be shocked to learn that I’ve never met another stitcher in person. I’m so grateful for Flosstube! It’s almost like being in the room with all of you!
I so enjoy your channel. Thank you so much Brenda for sharing Jan Karon books about Mitford. I live in eastern NC and enjoy them so much. Keep all the stitchy goodness coming. ❤️
Was so good to see you ladies today. Brenda, you look like I did for the last 2 years I worked. I retired in Dec of 2018 and have never been happier. I hope work gets a little better for you because I know what it's like to go to a job that is no longer fun to be at. When I retired for the first year all I did was make quilts and a little shopping here and there. In 2020 I found floss tube and now I have a whole new stash of projects I must start doing. I'm hoping 2021 will find me quilting and cross-stitching instead of just watching others. Laura so glad your doing wipgo because you are so close on some of your projects. Love you girls see you in 2 weeks.
Friends are definitely a blessing, but you two are a blessing to the stitching community especially those of us who don't have stitching buddies. Happy stitching, happy birthday and thank you so much for your videos and inspiration!!
Hi Brenda and Laura, am enjoying your video and wanted to thank you for your kind words about my drum.Faye as always did a beautiful job finishing it and I am thrilled with how it turned out. Brenda hang in there,we’ve all had those weeks! .
Thank you for your sweet comments Trieva!!! I hope that you can find a stitching buddy. Do you watch Just Keep Stitching? They have a program that tries to match stitchers!
Happy Belated Birthday Brenda!!!🎁🎉 ! As promised, I worked on a simpler project this time so I could pay attention better! Holy Moly! Love Laura’s Holiday WIPGO projects! I can’t wait to see progress on all of those during the year. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
You two are the best... I look forward to watching your flosstubes... Everything you are working on or have finished are exquisite...Brenda, I love the drums you had finished...those pieces are just my style... You always make us laugh and just enjoy the time we watch...we need this now more than ever...THANK YOU
Happy Birthday Brenda! You are so lucky to have wonderful friends. And we so are lucky to have you guys doing floss tube. The hardest thing for me to decide when I am starting a new project is the fabric. I do not have a local shop that I can go see the fabric colors, so I just guess most of the time when I order. But since I've started watching you guys I am making a list of all the fabric and colors that you are using. Having problems finding colors now, but will still keep my list. Thank you for another wonderful video. I hope you never run out of things to show us.
Thank you so much Vicki! I hope we never run out of things either. But we can always start at the beginning and show it all over again. Your list sounds like a good idea and you could order some fat quarters of linen and start a stash. I find it helpful when starting a new project to pull out a couple of different options and look at how the thread looks on each one. Sending you a hug!
Happy belated birthdays to both of you! Always lovely to watch you every couple of weeks. I usually am knitting while watching. Sometimes I stitch though if no counting is involved (just fill stitching), lol. Happy Stitching 💕 - Stacey
Thank you Ladies -you are both such an inspiration - I love watching you and have taken your advice Brenda and subscribed to PNPS magazine - I'm in the UK and the cost was minimal for a download copy - only problem is, not I don't have enough stash!!! I have just ordered my first 32 and 26 count fabric, so lets see how that goes, Lights, Cameras, magnifier and very confused looking kitties - you are really wonderful and I am now watching all your Floss tubes for the 3rd time xxx
Laura, you got me stitching in hand ... I did it on the Beverly Ellis COVID ornaments on 14 ct. Aida. I completed, but not ‘finished’ the two pieces we picked out at Inspired Needle and now I’m stitching the Ann Morison SAL. It is so relaxing.always enjoy listening to you and Brenda!
Wowza Mindy!!!!! You are going to town!!!! Are you posting your stitching on Instagram? I would love to see it. Hope to run into you again at IN soon!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 again, you inspired me to start an Instagram, but I haven’t kept it up. Love to meet up at IN and hear your suggestions.
Laura, that needle book, the SS United States, when my family moved here from England back early 60's...we came over on that ship. Just last year I found that same needle book. So excited Audrey 💙🖖
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 it has been in storage in PA for years, everything has been taken out of it and there have been people who try to but it to restore it, but the cost would be outrageous so it sits there. I keep trying to find a copy of the passenger list from our trip, but no luck...to date, you had me searching again
I always look forward to your projects, ideas, helpful hints, and Laura's sweatshirts. As an educator of almost 40 years, I have quite a collection of college sweatshirts, myself!
Thank you Laura for showing your wipgo progress! Brenda, I know how you feel about work friends...I worked at the same hospital for 28 years. My husband got a wild hair and decided...let’s move! I worked at another hospital for a few more years and it was not the same. I miss my longtime friends! But I am so glad we have flosstube and stitching to cheer us up! Thank you for the video. Happy stitching and happy belated birthday 🍰
Oh lovely to see you girls, Brenda, a big hug for you, you look sad. Laura champion today lovely stitching projects, stitch all the prairie schooler theme definitely!! I have been investigating the Wip go stuff I saw it with you and the sunshine stitchers. I am kinda doing my version as I don’t have as many wips on the go lol. I love Christmas stitching. I finished BBD Christmas the first in the series and finished it so I brought the rest in the series ..lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 love and hugs girls chin up Brenda.don’t let the BS get you down.
Happy Birthday Brenda❣🎂 Your employer is so very fortunate to have you working for them for so long. ✍ I hope you can retire soon and enjoy more stitching! Take care and be well❤
The Stitchery Nook is amazing. I live too far away to go, and I do everything by messenger. Super nice, great service, and the best advice and lessons on how to stitch. The best!
I’m not doing 56-count but saw it @ The Attic. How funny, return that, lol. Mine walks and says “Oh, the girls are on”, he knows, to be quiet. Nice video, as usual. 🥳 Happy Birthday Brenda.
Thanks Dee!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't wait to go back to the Attic...definitely need to see Jean's 56 count finish of that BBD Christmas Morning drum! I may have the name of the project wrong...
Love your WIPGO choices, Laura! It will be fun to see your progress throughout the year! What a beautiful card Brenda! Such a special one with the things you have given her over the years! Always love your videos! Hope the next 2 weeks are filled with lots of stitching for both of you!
Another great video ladies~ Thanks for the shout out! And, yes, I’m currently not able to take on new clients due to volume.. I do, however, have a waitlist for those willing to wait... Fully finishing for others is a passion of mine! Keep up the great work♥️♥️
Brenda, happy belated birthday. I worked in a high-class CPA firm whose clientele was very moneyed. I was an admin assistant working on financial reports during the year and processed the tax returns during tax season. I loved the principals, the staff, and my work during my time there. When you talk about how your job drains you, I feel so bad because I have seen what the CPA’s and accountants go through up to April 15. You will appreciate retirement for sure. I so appreciate you and Laura and the time you put into entertaining us.
Oh, happy birthday! Carrot cake...score! Laura, you are making great progress with WIPGO! Jane Southward is coming along so beautifully. Love the cloche and goodies. Best story, taking back one skein!🤣. See you in two weeks👏🤗
Happy Belated B’Day Brenda🥳we almost share the same day, I’m the 18th of January. My take away from today was your overwhelming work schedule. 34 years! Oh my gosh time to put in those retirement papers! I am with you in spirit, my position as an RN on my team can leave me burnt out. Maybe you need some shopping therapy 🤣
Thanks!!!! Yes, we working girls really need a break! Thank goodness for stitching or we would be stark raving mad. You are doing holy work as a nurse!!! Hugs to you!!!! p.s. we are constantly doing shopping therapy!
Brenda, I love the card from your friend, Bonnie. Such a lot of thought, care and love in one card. I too have former colleagues that have become firm friends. Everybody needs a Bonnie in their lives. And a Brenda and Laura. 💗💗 Laura, your story about Mike and the DMC made me chuckle! But he redeemed himself by his flosstuber knowledge! Every other Sunday, after I have said goodnight to our children, I come downstairs and my husband says ‘is it a Brenda and Laura week?’ and gets the TV set up for the video whilst I make a cuppa! 😂
Thank you so much Christina!!! I cannot wait until we meet in person!!! I have left two other messages for you today...one on your website after a purchase and one on your floss tube. Loved your most recent one! Such great stories about the sampler stitchers. Hugs!!!!!
Enjoyed watching your shenanigans ladies, Happy belated birthdays. You always make me smile, It must be a lot of work getting all this done so thank you for taking the time and sharing all your goodies how fun was that. See you in two weeks.
Oh Thank you Brenda for the cutting in half, I have been known to do that with a few things sewing projects, cross stitch etc or just walk them out to the garbage can. I usually follow up with a chocolate fest. Happy Birthday and thank you both for all of the inspiration and I think I'm next on WIPGO.
So many fun things in today’s video. Loved the DMC story, Laura! Loved the beautiful Mercury bowl, which I have not seen before. Loved the friendship story, Brenda. Thank you both for keeping me company in my stitching today. (And thank you for the shoutout!) - Sheri
So great to stitch and catch up with you ladies! I love all your finishes and although I don’t have enough old things to refinish, your repurposed pieces are swoon worthy Brenda ❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Laura your starts always inspire and I think it’s so smart to work on Christmas all year. Think of all the finished pieces you will have at the end of the year 😉 as usual I had to make a purchase while watching... those house floss tags are irresistible. Happy stitching and see you in a couple weeks ⭐️
Another fun video and always makes Sunday the best!!! Belated Birthday wishes Laura and Brenda - looks like you are loved. The DMC story is hilariously funny one that we can all relate to!!! Love the haul and the WIPco is going to get you some cute finishes Laura . Hope the next two weeks are Less stressful and stitching takes you to your Happy place . Like water off the ducks back !!!
Another great episode! I look forward to this every 2 weeks! I wanted to mention, my sister, Jan Calvert, is a finisher thru Keepsakes in Sharonville, Ohio, I’m a tad prejudiced but she does beautiful work!! See you girls in 2 weeks!
Thank you Ellen!!!!!!!! Yes, I think I referred to Jan but maybe not by name. I have seen the stuff she finishes for Pam and Steph and it is amazing!!!!! She does exquisite work! I will add her to the list!!! Hugs!
I'm so glad I got to catch up to you ladies. Beautiful stitching, sentiments, and laughter. Thank you for all your inspiration and information. Fabulous gifts 🎁 . Have a wonderful few weeks, keep grounded with your stitching.
Hi Brenda and Laura, I look forward to Sunday. Laura your DMC story is hilarious. Happy Birthday Brenda! I have a co-worker best friend that moved to Florida. We use to laugh so hard when we worked together. Whenever we see each other we still laugh a lot. I miss working with her so much. I hope your stitching brings you joy during these busy work times.
You Two Ladies are too funny. I came across your channel on Tuesday night wanted to look at some Cross-stitch something different since I'm wanting to switch from crocheting for awhile.
I had a good laugh about Mike thinking you would return the floss. Don’t you wonder how men’s minds work? We need pictures of your growing kittens soon. You two had quite the bounty. How great to have really good friends.

Love you!
Happy Birthday!!! I just turned 60 and I share in your YIKES!!! 😉😄
Hugs!!!!
@@sewpieceful Happy Birthday Teresa!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday Teresa, I hope you had a fabulous day! It’s just a number right??? 😂😂😂
Thank you so much Barb!!!!!!! So glad you had a little shopping spree on 123 Stitch!!!! You will be thrilled when that package comes!!!
Thanks so much for your wonderful videos and funny stories ! I sometimes wait a day or two to watch when i have some quiet time, and sometimes watch in segments to stretch it out! ( but that’s hard to do)
Yes, Brenda, good idea to stitch some easy Stitch smalls to get you thru your busy work times.
Love to see all of your stitching and enabling.
Thank you so much Jan!!! We so appreciate your sweet comments!
“Thank God I have you.” My heart🥰
Thank God the Flosstube community has the two of you! Happy stitching 🧵
Hugs to you Natalie!!!!!
Thank you so very much for your sweet and kind comments Darlene!!! They just mean the world to us!
Thank you so much Vicki!!!!! Happy Birthday to you!!!!!!
“Are you bored?” Said Laura. NEVER!!!! More more more!!!! 😂. You guys are great!
Thank you!!!!!!!!! Hugs!
Thanks so much Tammy!!!!!!!!!! Hope you are having a good stitching week!
That is so sweet Nancy!!! Yes, we are all stitching in the evenings and joined together in spirit. I know that is true! Hugs!
Your videos are like coming back home after a long trip, ladies. Warming and comforting. Have a great 2 weeks and happy stitching!
That is the kindest compliment ever. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much for sharing all of your goodness. I also have a special friend whose name is Bonnie; something about that name. You are both a treasure to the stitching community and all who know you. God bless.
Thank you very much for your kind words Joan!!! Hugs!!!
That is great that you are starting all those projects Laura!!!!!! If we keep planning new starts maybe we can live longer!!! Hugs!
I had to laugh about returning the floss! What! If I grab a floss and get 2 in my hand, it goes in My basket anyway. So funny. You are both such a dose of sunshine. Thanks again.
Thank you so much Kathy!!!!!
Thank you both for sharing yourselves with all of us. You make me smile and it’s a great escape from all the stuff that’s not fun. Can’t wait to see you both again. Be well.
Thank you Laurie!!!!!!! We all need escapes these days!!! Thank goodness for stitching!
Thank you so much Ruth!!!!!! Hope you are getting some good stitching time too!
Tears and laughter. A great mix on today’s video. Thanks for showing viewers how two people can get along, enjoy each other, and spread kindness. 🤗
Thank you for your kind words Tamara!!!! It just means the world to us!
Thanks again ladies. Wonderful re-purposed stitching and great wip go plans. You made my day. Robin
Thank you Robin!!! Hugs!!
Thank you so much for your very lovely comments Agata!!!!! So glad you found us and are thinking about stitching a sampler!!! How exciting!!!!
Also when Brenda says ‘we’re not in a very big spot Laura’ 😂😂
Have the best couple weeks ladies!!!
PSS: I hope the BBD heart stitch is coming along!! Even though it’s 32ct that fabric is too pretty!!
Thanks so much for your fun comments Lisa! Loved reading through them!!!!! Your projects/plans sound so fun!!!! Hugs!!!
Happy belated birthday, Brenda!! You and Laura have a beautiful friendship, and we all know that is priceless!
Thank you Sarah!!! Hugs!
Oh my gosh... how much joy do you guys bring to my day? Sometimes I have to wait a few
Days to watch just to be sure I can soak up every minute ! And because I’m a giant baby I of course was teary at the end. Treasure those friendships for sure ❤️❤️ thank you gals!!
What sweet and kind comments Renee!. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for watching!!!!!!!! and leaving such a lovely comment!!!
So happy when it's a Brenda and Laura Sunday!!! You both make me smile and sometimes cry ...like this week. I'm an accountant Brenda....I feel your pain. Not one to wish away my life but come in April 15th :-). Have a great two weeks ladies.
Thank you Marcy!!!!! Sounds like we can understand your pain for sure!
Thank you very much Wanda for your lovely comments!!!!
Great tip on the landmark stitching! Especially for a new stitcher! Thanks!
Thank you.
Thank you so very much Barbara!!! What sweet comments!
You guys are the very BEST company!💜
Awwwwww!!! Thanks so much Anne!! Love your minion avatar!!!
I LOVE you guys!! You are my favorite flosstubers. I have now, as of tonight, gone to episode 1 and will binge watch them all. Well, with a brief intermission of Jean Farish. 🥰🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much Judie!!!!!
I always look forward to your video - watching you both makes my day :). Your friendship is a joy to see and your stitching is a great enabler. And happy birthday Brenda :)). I wish you a wonderful stitchy year!!
Thank you so much Linda!!! That is very kind of you!!!!!! Hugs!
Thank you so much Denise!!!!!!!! So glad you got some needle minders!!!
Oh happy birthday Brenda! Mine is next month, one year closer to retirement! Thank you ladies always a joy to see.
Thank you Margaret!!!!!!! Hugs!
I am listening for the third time. That cuckoo is the best! Laura, your timing was the best. I really appreciate both of you. Happy birthday month.
Thank you RoseAnn!!!!!!!!!
Another fun visit. Happy Belated Birthday! Happy Stitching!
Thank you Dee!!!!!!!!! Happy Stitching to you too!!!
Happy Belated Birthday!!!!! Always enjoy your floss tube and stitching all the things
Can't wait to see your choices and unexpected starts!!!!
Thank you Dian!!!!!!! I have a couple of unexpected starts to show on Sunday!!!!
Thank you from both of us Mary!!!! We appreciate your kind and sympathetic comments!!!
Happy Birthday Brenda! Wishing you all things wonderful! Thanks again girls for a lovely visit! Took your advice and swooped some linen today..😉💐
Thank you Joanne!!! Glad you got some linen today!!!!
Thank you!
Isn't it the best???????????????????? Love pulling that one strand out. So glad you are loving it too Rachel!!!
Thanks so much Sherry!!!!
Thanks so much!!!!! We hope that you can get to lots of stash busting this year!
Happy birthday, Brenda! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Thank you Tonya!!
@@barbaradespain4471 Oh it is your drum that Faye finished!!! It is so beautiful!!!! Great stitching!!! You must be thrilled!!!!!
I can never tell you enough how much I appreciate you making these videos. Thank you for the usual inspiration!
Thank you for watching and leaving such lovely comments Marjorie!!!
Thanks Jackie!!!!! Hope you got some progress on your project!!! Hugs!
Friends are the best! You guys are proof of that. Look forward to our next visit.
Thank you so much Marjo!!!
Love you ladies. You make me laugh and you inspire me. Happy birthday Brenda.
Thank you Tammy!! That is kind of you!
🤗 Thank you Brenda and Laura for a very enjoyable visit! Take care.
Thank you Carlene!!!!! Happy Stitching!
First a Very Happy Birthday!! You two are so very sweet! I pray you will have a wonderful two weeks! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you very much Christina!!!! Hugs!
You two are the best...
I look forward to watching your flosstubes...
Everything you are working on or have finished are exquisite...Brenda, I love the drums you had finished...those pieces are just my style...
You always make us laugh and just enjoy the time we watch...we need this now more than ever...THANK YOU
Thank you so much for your sweet comments Carol!
Love watching you ladies. I’m enjoying going back to see all of your videos. Thanks for all the inspiration love and blessings xx
Great video as always.Brenda, your friendship with both Laura and Bonnie are so caring and deep❤️❤️
Thank you so much Carol....that is so sweet of you to say.
Happy belated birthdays to both of you! Always lovely to watch you every couple of weeks. I usually am knitting while watching. Sometimes I stitch though if no counting is involved (just fill stitching), lol. Happy Stitching 💕 - Stacey
Thank you so much Stacey!!!!!!
So excited
Audrey
💙🖖
That is so cool Audrey!!!!!! I did not know it was an actual real ship. This makes the gift even more special. Hugs!
Thank you Billie!!!! I thought I had enough sweatshirts, but I think I need a couple more!!!! Going off to look now!
Thank you so much Diane!!! Hope you found some stitching friends in your new town!!!
Wonderful wipes finishes etc. happy birthday!!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you Patti!!!!
Thanks Joanne!!!!!!! Yes, we will keep our chins up!!!! Hugs!
Laura your story of your husband & the dmc cracked me up lol

Thanks Crystal!!!! Hugs back to you!!!!
Happy Birthday Brenda❣🎂 Your employer is so very fortunate to have you working for them for so long. ✍ I hope you can retire soon and enjoy more stitching! Take care and be well❤
Thank you so much Donna!!!
The Stitchery Nook is amazing. I live too far away to go, and I do everything by messenger. Super nice, great service, and the best advice and lessons on how to stitch. The best!
They are so amazing!!!! I want to visit someday.
When Covid is behind us, we could have a meet and stitch there!
Happy birthday Brenda! It sounds like you had a very happy day. It is always pleasant to spend time with you.hugs to both💕🇦🇺
Thank you Ruth!!!! Hugs back to you!!!!
Another great visit! I did as instructed and checked out the story for the stitcher of Jessie Watson
Thanks Dee!!!!! Hope you are having some good stitching time too!!!!
Another great video ladies~ Thanks for the shout out! And, yes, I’m currently not able to take on new clients due to volume.. I do, however, have a waitlist for those willing to wait... Fully finishing for others is a passion of mine! Keep up the great work♥️♥️
Thanks Faye!!!!!! I will make a note that you keep a wait list!!!! I can see why that is the case!!! Hugs!!!!
Thank you Mary!!!!!! I know Brenda is looking forward to a time without tax returns in her life!!!!!!
You two made my day. You had me laughing out loud literally. Wishing the two of you a happy birthday. I did enjoy the visit.
Thanks so much Mary Ellen!!!!!
Oh, happy birthday! Carrot cake...score! Laura, you are making great progress with WIPGO! Jane Southward is coming along so beautifully. Love the cloche and goodies. Best story, taking back one skein!🤣. See you in two weeks👏🤗
Thanks so much!!!!!!
Happy Birthday Brenda 🎈🍰🤩. Great video ladies 👏🏼
Thank you so much Sheila!!!
Wishing you a very Happy Belated Birthday, Brenda. And Laura...we also think you're cool :)
Thank you Jeanna!!!!!!!!!!
Brenda, I love the card from your friend, Bonnie. Such a lot of thought, care and love in one card. I too have former colleagues that have become firm friends. Everybody needs a Bonnie in their lives. And a Brenda and Laura. 💗💗
Laura, your story about Mike and the DMC made me chuckle!
Hugs!!!!!
Ah ladies, what can I say? Pure gold. Thank you so much. And all the Happy Birthdays 🎉🎉
Thank you very much Marion!!! Hugs!
Thank you for sharing! Happy Birthday Laura and Brenda! My birthday is also on January, the 10th 😊. No wonder I like you both so much 😃
Thank you!!! We are all kindred spirits!
Enjoyed watching your shenanigans ladies, Happy belated birthdays. You always make me smile, It must be a lot of work getting all this done so thank you for taking the time and sharing all your goodies how fun was that. See you in two weeks.

Well, don't think I am that great....I have not picked up anything Wipgo related since our last floss tube. I get sidetracked to easily!
Thank you Donna!!! Glad to know that you are in the get rid of it if it is not making you happy club!!!!!
