Another great flosstube ladies. Thanks for all the inspiration and such a great idea for a wall of ladies...love it and thanks so much for sharing my charts 😘😊🙂 carolxstitch
I finally became caught up on all your floss tubes. What took me so long? You two are just the greatest! I have seen samplers like I’ve never seen before. What an inspiration you both are with all your hints and tips. I do have to stop and take notes and log onto Instagram to make sure I’m up on all the latest things. Can’t wait til the next one. And I’ve really spent a lot of time laughing as well. You two are fun!
Thank you so much Pamela!!! Your comments are so kind and so much appreciated!!! Glad you found some samplers to dream over and order!!! Happy Stitching!!!!
Always so much fun to catch up ith you both! I look forward to that 'girl sampler collection'! I was stitching whilst watching and when you showed the stork scissors .... I was using mine! lol They are such an excellent pair of scissors.
Hi Ladies! Thanks so much for recording these videos. I find them so much fun and uplifting!! Wish I lived closer to the two of you, although I’d be bankrupt for sure! Even after (and sometimes during) your videos I end up on Etsy. Then I take Laura’s advice (or is it a law?) that no chart can travel alone!! Looking forward to seeing you soon!! 💕
Thank you Laura; I downloaded MK the little Guernsey girl! She is adorable! And Brenda I Love your way of coping with these strange times! Buy and support all the shops; comfort at its best
I love watching you guys. I also hate summer and love, love, love fall - all things pumpkins, candles, books and stitching. You both have so many beautiful stitches and are such an inspiration. I loved Laura's new girl stitches. I have been looking at several girls in Kathy Barrack's designs - love the designs on their dresses!!! Thanks again for sharing - you always bring smiles - Deana
Hi ladies!! So much fun!! Love watching you and I love Brenda's advise on happiness!! I do the same "Do what makes you happy! My stash makes me happy!" Love you both!! 😁❤️❤️
I would love to watch one of your videos without having to stop! Unfortunately I keep hitting the pause button so that I can go shop for all of the lovely things you show. Thank you for all of your efforts to support the economy!
Thanks Connie!!! So happy you find things that you like!!! and thank you for supporting the stitching economy!!! We have to make sure it is around for years to come!
You ladies always inspire me. I have not been a sampler stitcher but because of you, I am going to give one or two or three a try. Another great video.
I'm Michele from Mill on the Floss Samplers. Thank you so much for stitching MK "A Guernsey Girl" I was so happy to see that you had included her in your video, and so honoured. I look forward to seeing your finish.
Hi Michele!!!!! I am so sorry I called your company Floss on the Mill!!!!! But I think every could tell the correct name from the cover of the chart. I am having such a great time with MK!!! She is so lovely!! And there were several more charts on your site that I will be purchasing soon!!! Thank you for your lovely reproduction samplers!!!! And thank you for watching our video!!! Hugs!!!!!!!
I keep checking you tube all morning on Sunday waiting for you Ladies to show up. I enjoy your floss tubes so much. Loved Laura’s comments of “Squirrel-o-Rama” on all her new starts this last week. Laura’s name The Serial Stitcher is very appropriate! You guys are the best.
Thanks so much Diane!!! We have started taping our floss tube at 11 instead of 10 a.m. on Sundays when we "film" so we might be posting a bit later than we have in the past. And yes, I am sure living up to my name. Hope to work on the same projects for a bit at least this week!!! Happy Stitching!!
Lol...Ladies, I loved it when Brenda showed her scissors and Laura said, " one for upstairs, one for downstairs and one for the road!!" Couldn't be better. Have a fantastic stitching week.
You definitely inspired me - Loved all your tips and tricks. What a great frame for the BBD stitch and the Brenda gervais piece is Gorgeous!!! Laura like your idea of girl stitches the ones you showed are very sweet . Happy Stitching. P.s. Quilting lesson was you always started a new project with a new needle lol
You both always make me smile :). And Brenda, you’re right, buying things that make us happy do not need justification! Laura, I loved every one of your “girl” patterns. You’ve inspired me to stitch at least one or two “girls”. Enjoy your stitching ladies.
Brenda and Laura, I don't think you can possibly know how much joy (and shopping) you bring to so many - thank you!!! I didn't realize there was a new Fancy Blackett so will head over to get her. I also did not know about BBD Flowers of the Field so I must investigate that as well. I love the idea of a sampler wall with girls. Brenda you WTNT Saltbox is beautiful and your BBD patriotic framed piece is stunning. Thanks as always and have a great couple weeks!
Afternoon ladies... Beautiful stitching ... wowwww lots o fab goodies... and Beautiful gifts to receive... I have been cutting oot decoupage and stamping making a birthday card and Anniversary card have one more to make ... tonight I will be stitching oan... Jane Fiddes 1835... Happy stitching... "what you need to keep in your stash"...."everything"...perfect! Loving the addition of a tips/hacks section AND you two look so on point...gorgeous hair, gorgeous tops...stay awesome...
I was in the middle of watching your old videos and deciding if I needed a nap....when I saw you had a new one up! Well...that made my day! 🤣 I really enjoy seeing all of the pieces you guys are working on, I’m in the middle of Jane Stanwix and making good process due to your encouragement ...it is truly inspirational to see old charts or even new ones that you show that I might not have seen before or thought about ....bad thing is ...I want to stitch all the things ! Don’t we all ...so I’m gonna go order a few things then go do my 5 miles instead of a nap .....have a wonderful week and as always, thanks for sharing!
Wow! That is great that we inspired you to walk 5 miles instead of nap. I (Laura) promptly took a nap on Sunday afternoon but then had a great stitching evening. So glad you are working on Jane Stanwix!!! She is beautiful!!! You probably have to stitch a lot of smalls also for your shop so you are busy!!!! Hugs!
Thank you Vicki!!!!! And that is hilarious about having the house to yourself!!!! Making it a special occasion with no interruptions!!!!!! That is what I do with some of my favorites too!!!! Happy Stitching!
LAdies CONGRATULATIONS...in my book another perfect video with enabling of course!! I was thinking Sulky threads might work with the Bright pencil box?? I would also add Victorian Motto fabric...she has beautiful colors as well as Seraphim. They both have beautiful sampler colors!! Nobody beats Lakeside and that's a fact!! Bread your finish voile!!! Can't wait to see it FFO'D!! Laura your starts on the samplers are GREAT!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2020!!
Thank you both for such delightfully fun visits. Brenda, I saw your stork scissors and bought a pair, then went and bought two more, so that makes us related somehow. :) On the Dovo with good sized finger rings, the very best I have found (and ordered several) are the Dovo #84404. It takes a lot of frog kissing to pass that prince on to you, so I hope you will try. Much love to you both.
Another great video...and I don't like Summer either, Brenda...hate the heat, but at least where we are, the humidity is quite low, but hot is hot, ugh! I've been gathering some of those cute girl samplers also...getting to them is another story, but you two motivate me in so many ways...I'm hoping that you plan to bring back your highlighted designer segment, it was really fun to see all of those charts.
Some laws are good suggestions and then some laws you just have to follow because it’s the right thing to do and we all need to exercise civic responsibility. Buying the sticker book would be one of those laws that fall into the latter category. My sticker book is on it’s way because I want to do my part as a law abiding citizen. I just love those little girls too! I stitched one a couple years ago and since then found a few antique ones on ebay. I’ve read that some of the little girl samplers are depictions of little dog trainers with hoop and stick in hand for training the little dogs in the stitch. You may have found this one already but the one I did was by Gigi R called Petite Fille en Rouge. It was a delightful, adorable, fast stitch! I’m going to enjoy watching you stitch those little girls. What a good idea to have a wall of them! So much good here ladies! Carry on!
Thanks so much Marcy!!!! Glad you are compliant with the laws!!!! I stitched that Gigi R one too!!! I love her so much!!!!!! Love that tidbit about the dog training!!!!! Loved reading your comments. Happy Stitching!
I love Peacemaker needles size 28. The 26 seems huge after using the 28. You mentioned these needles in one of your other episodes and have been using them since. Love love love them and love you ladies.💝💜 Till next time
It is always a good Sunday when Brenda and Laura do a Floss Tube video! Love everything you show - projects, bags, bling, and scissors. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching world. ❣️👍❣️👍❣️
You ladies are very dangerous for my pocketbook! Loved everything you showed today. I have Friends of the Hart by Plum Street Samplers at Total Framing getting gussied up. Can't wait to get it back. They've framed several of my projects already and I love love everything about them! Have a wonderful week!!
Oh boy!! Your Friends of the Hart is going to be amazing!!!!! So glad you are using Total Framing and loving them. They are true artisans! Happy Stitching!
Another fun Sunday evening viewing :-). Look forward to your flosstubes as you both make me smile :-). And I agree Brenda ....no justification needed for buying all the things that make you happy.
What fun! You always give me serious chart envy. My poor husband just shakes his head and reminds me that we still have to eat, he said ,”you can’t eat cross stitch, but you would if you could! “ well no, but I want one of everything. Thanks for sharing your stitching and fun.🤗🇦🇺
Thanks Ruth!!! Maybe you can make a list of charts that you want and that will take some of the sting out of it.....that is my idea of what to do. I mean, I need to do it right now, but I will start doing that someday instead of just getting "all the charts I want." On the other hand, I hope you win the lottery and can get every single thing you want!
Brenda, love your finish & stash, & new start. Laura, love your idea of the girls samplers. I too am miffed at the P.O. I am in WI, & sent a pkg to my friend in Iowa, so, not that far away. I mailed it on July 3, & she just got it last week! Marilyn
Hey Brenda, can you play Old Maid with those Angel cards? Ha. They are pretty. I am so envious of those beautiful fabrics! And now I want to do some Lady samplers Laura! You did inspire me!
Always enjoy sitting with you ladies. Such inspiration and enabling! And I'm still envious of Laura's connection to Bainbridge Island. One of these days I'll get there. (Churchmouse!)
Margaret, I have terrible news about Churchmouse. They are closing their beautiful beautiful store! They are going to be online only. I was heartbroken about it. That store was first class in every way (and I don't even knit!). So now you can rest easy that you are not missing anything. Well, aside from the rest of the island that is the best place on earth, but I digress. Thanks for watching and commenting, but most of all....thanks for getting back to stitching!!!!! We are so happy to see your posts on IG!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Nooooooo!!! I guess I should read my emails more carefully. I totally missed that announcement! Well, I'll continue to support them online at least. So sad. This pandemic has hit various online and offline businesses I love. Sigh.
Fun Monday morning for me watching you two. It's been so hot here in eastern Washington so all I can think about is fall and Halloween stitching. I don't like summer either. I only use stork scissors. They're what I use for frogging also. I've never been accomplished at the seam ripper thingy. Thanks for another rather enabling get together. Love you guys!!
Thanks Carol!!!!! Yes, I heard about how hot it has been in Washington. Can't wait for fall weather!!!! That is neato that you only use stork scissors. They are so beautiful!!!!! Happy Stitching and i hope it cooled off!
Always enjoy your flosstubes. Laura, when you started showing the "girl" samplers, it reminded me that I have one. It's an oldie from Handwork Samplers - The 1836 Sovine Palphreyman Sampler. I took a photo of it but, dang!, can't add photos to comments. Chart's dated 1999. Hope it's still in print. Looking forward to the next 'tube!
Thanks Mary!!!! Yes, that is one that is going to have to be stitched!!!! I am hopeful that I can get it from the Attic. It is perfection! Until next time, Happy Stitching!
Oh my gosh! I always have a pen and pad by my stitching chair to write down the goodies parade...I just bought the Guernsey Girl! The girl wall is genius! Thanks so much for another wonderful video. You both inspire me to explore the fun that is stitching! Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much for your lovely comments Jackie!!!!! Glad you found some inspiration!!! We all inspire each other that is for sure!!!!! So glad you bought that chart!!!!! Let me know if you make any color changes okay?
I told my husband that I was excited because today I get to watch Brenda and the Serial Killer!! He looked at me and said “WHAT” then I realized what I had said.....we both just started laughing 😆 I do so enjoy your floss tube! Thank you for taking the time to make these for us. Already looking forward to your next one. Happy Stitching🤗🤗
I am with you, Brenda! Summer is my least favorite season and Autumn is my favorite! I don't like hot and muggy one little bit. Both of you have the most beautiful projects and I thank you for showing us how to do the thread --- I kept hearing about being able to pull out one thread at a time but never could figure it out! Thank you!
Thanks so much Denise!!!! These days we are getting a little bit of a later start so look for videos in the early afternoon on the Sundays that we make a floss tube. Until then, Happy Stitching!
You have blown my mind! I never understood the whole thread drop and thread ring thing. Showing how to pull out one thread caused a brain explosion. I may have to rethink my whole thread organization. Thanks so much for another great video. I always love to see your projects.
Thanks Karen!!! So glad that we could "blow your mind" in a good way!!!! Yes, that was a game changer for me when someone showed me that method!!! It is fun to do!!!!!
What a fun and inspiring video. My birthday is this month, and I was busy making a list of your pretty and cute things and ideas -x maybe even stickers. I can’t wait. I like using cut fancy floss on drops for stitching, but my DMC is on bobbins for storage in three floss boxes that just fit in a sweet little antique sewing table. Don’t, however like to sew from bobbins. I’ll figure it out someday. See you soon.
I so love watching you gals and so happy you can be together again. I love Dovo scissors, can't have enough!!! You two always inspire me and I feel less guilty about starting things, thanks to Laura!!! I so enjoyed meeting you both and so hope to be able to do that in the future! I am with you Brenda, no retreats so more money to help out our LNS. I must admit, I have done a lot of that...that is my confession! I really enjoyed that and got lots of chuckles out of it. If you need another place to see some other bags and such, head on over to my FB group, "Judy's Project Bags & More". I will be adding more choices in about a week. Thank you for taking time to do these, bringing us some much needed giggles and enabling us with so many gorgeous pieces. Can't wait until the next video. Hugs!!!
We loved meeting you Judy!!!! And I hope that 2021 brings us all together again!!!! We miss retreats so much!!!!! We will both check out your FB group!!! Glad you are not feeling guilty about starting things!!! and yes, to supporting our LNS!!!! and even our not so local ones!!!! Happy Stitching and Hugs to you!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Thank you for checking me out. I am getting ready to go out of town and will be listing more bags on Sunday or Monday. Yes, I support a lot of the LNS.....Attic, Sassy Jacks, Reflection's Framing, mine..Heart's Desire just to mention a few. Hugs to both of you, look forward to meeting up again in 2021.
It really is a joy watching you two! So much fun, lots to see and listen to. Keep on being you and your fun selves. I can hardly wait for the next episode. 😊❤️
I have had the greatest birthday today, and a new video from you two has been the icing on the cake. Thank you for being such a joy and inspiration to watch!
Right there with you Brenda - summer schlummer. I like fall, winter, spring and late spring and am so-so on summer. I do not tan nor do I care to try. I am also an avid hiker but fall and spring are less warm and less mosquito infested hiking seasons. Winter hiking is also fun and guess what? No bugs at all during our winter!
You’ve blown my mind with another great video!! Laura I love your red dress girl theme, I must add the small Pineberry Lane to my collection, she is adorable. You two could get royalties for all your sales you inspire, it’s impossible to make it through your video without a shopping list!! Thank you for sharing the love ❤️. Brenda your framed Summer Jubilee is magnificent!! 🥰. I have a pair of your new scissors, love them and what a chuckle I got when you showed your two new stork scissors!! Good for you, no apologies needed.... again!! Happy stitching!!
Thanks so much Carrie!!! That is so kind of you to say! And glad you got a pair of those scissors!!! They are wonderful!!!! Happy Stitching to you too!
Ok, girls, I have sensory overload! I had to keep pausing your video and writing things down that I want! You two are so cute and funny-this was an awesome video, I loved every minute of it! Brenda, I promise I won't tell about those scissors. I love Dovos too. And Laura, I love those little needle books and pin pillow with the retro pictures! I think I have never grown up because I love all things from the 50's. Thanks for the video, I know it takes alot of preparation. Just know that we love you both out here in video land and look forward to seeing you . Hugs. Pam Miller
Brenda and the Serial Starter I’m trying to catch up with you Queen Stitchers, I need all the stuff but mostly I would love to be able to stitch like all you guys.😊
I love your channel. You two are a hoot-a breath of fresh air in these crazy times.

Can't wait to see it FFO'D!! Laura your starts on the samplers are GREAT!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2020!!
Thanks so much Karen!!! What kind words! And I agree with every word you said about the linens. Happy Stitching to you!!!!
Great video! Enjoyed seeing all of your things
Thanks so much Lorie!!!!
Well I guess I will head on over and do some shopping after seeing all the new stuff you all showed. Thanks for helping me spend my money.
You are quite welcome Kelly!!! We are all in one big circle of inspiration and nudges to spend stitching money!!!! Happy Stitching!
Love love love them and love you ladies.💝💜 Till next time
Thanks so much Heidi!!!! Stitchers helping stitchers find the right needles!! That is what we are all about! Happy Stitching!!!
It is always a good Sunday when Brenda and Laura do a Floss Tube video! Love everything you show - projects, bags, bling, and scissors. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching world. ❣️👍❣️👍❣️
Thanks so much Bonnie!!!!! It is always a good Sunday for us too...so much fun to talk stitching!!! Hugs!
Thanks ladies...sending off my first Total Framing package tomorrow. They could not have been nicer!
That is great to hear Julia!!! I just know you will be thrilled!
Great video!! ❤️❤️ you both!!
Thank you so much Jean!!! Hugs back to you!
Thank you dear ladies. Joy! 💐
Thank you for watching Judy!!!!
Another fun Sunday evening viewing :-). Look forward to your flosstubes as you both make me smile :-). And I agree Brenda ....no justification needed for buying all the things that make you happy.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! and let's all listen to Brenda!!!
Marilyn
Thanks Marilyn!!!! I hope that your friend received her package by now!
Hey Brenda, can you play Old Maid with those Angel cards? Ha. They are pretty. I am so envious of those beautiful fabrics! And now I want to do some Lady samplers Laura! You did inspire me!
That is great Cassandra!!!! I am so glad you were inspired!! We will try to play Old Maid with those cards someday when we run out of stitching! Hah!
After watching the two of you, I just feel so happy! Ready to grab my stitching and smile!
That is so sweet of you to say Shari and really makes us happy!!! Hugs and happy stitching!!!
Summer Jubilee is stunning.
Yay! Thank you for sharing about the thread!! I make a mess with mine, great information!!
That is the top tip I ever learned!!!!! Love doing that!
That is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy! Thanks Johna!!!! Hope you have some happy stitching these next two weeks!!!
Thank you!
Thanks so much Barbara! Glad you can do the pull one thread thing now. It is kind of life changing!!!
It makes me happy every time I see a video from you two. Darn !! Now I have to wait 2 weeks for the next one.. Wish I could hang out with you girls..
Thanks so much Connie!!!! Wish we could all hang out too!!!!!!!
Love you both!
Thank you so much!!! Sending hugs back to you!!!
That’s actually cool. Fresh start..all the way.
Thanks!
I keep checking you tube all morning on Sunday waiting for you Ladies to show up.
Thanks so much Denise!!!! These days we are getting a little bit of a later start so look for videos in the early afternoon on the Sundays that we make a floss tube. Until then, Happy Stitching!
Lovely girls, just love seeing all your goodies as always. I love the angel cards they are beautiful. 💓💓💓 stay safe and well.
Thanks so much Joanne!!!!! Happy Stitching!
Thank you sooo much. I can totally do that. You all are the best.
Thanks Katy!!!
Thank you for another FlossTube filled with information, inspiration, and plenty of laughter! Squirrel-O-Rama!
🐿 🐿 🐿
Thanks so much Bronte!!!!!!! Happy Stitching!!!
Wow your salt box houses are awesome. Can’t wait to see it finished.
Thanks Tara! Happy Birthday month!!! Hope you can get a lot of fun things to celebrate. Yes, we all need to figure out what works best with our floss!

Linda Manning Happy Birthday!!

Best podcast in the whole wide world.
Awwwwww......Jill!!! You are so kind to say that!!!! Hugs!!!!
Thank you! I love all the haul! The new frame is gorgeous! Happy stitching ladies. Can’t wait to see you again! 😃😃😃
Thanks so much Paulette!!!!!!! Happy Stitching to you too!!!!!
We all sound like we like the same seasons for sure!!! and no bugs!!!!!!
Thanks Again Ladies! Your videos are very inspiring! I am a little lighter in the "Pocket Book" LOL!
Hugs. Pam Miller
I can't find Stacy James on instagram. Could you give the entire name to look up, please? I must not have heard that. Thanks!
it’s STACEYJANE on Etsy. Let us know if you can’t find her
Love your Kristy bag! Yea, I;m getting one too, same colors, can’t wait.😊
So glad you are getting a Kristie bag Debbie!!!! You are going to love it!!! They are the best!
Brenda and the Serial Starter I’m trying to catch up with you Queen Stitchers, I need all the stuff but mostly I would love to be able to stitch like all you guys.😊
@@debbierice2618 As long as you put in a few stitches every day then you are keeping up with us!
Definitely inspired! 🤗
That is great!!!! Thanks Kim!
Great flosstube again, love the “I just don’t care” and thank you for all the ideas of what I also want to stitch you 2 give me 😉❤️❤️
