I finally became caught up on all your floss tubes. What took me so long? You two are just the greatest! I have seen samplers like I’ve never seen before. What an inspiration you both are with all your hints and tips. I do have to stop and take notes and log onto Instagram to make sure I’m up on all the latest things. Can’t wait til the next one. Thank you Laura; I downloaded MK the little Guernsey girl! She is adorable! And Brenda I Love your way of coping with these strange times! Buy and support all the shops; comfort at its best
I love watching you guys. I also hate summer and love, love, love fall - all things pumpkins, candles, books and stitching. You both have so many beautiful stitches and are such an inspiration. I loved Laura's new girl stitches. I have been looking at several girls in Kathy Barrack's designs - love the designs on their dresses!!! Thanks again for sharing - you always bring smiles - Deana

Another great flosstube ladies. Thanks for all the inspiration and such a great idea for a wall of ladies...love it and thanks so much for sharing my charts 😘😊🙂 carolxstitch
Hi Ladies! Thanks so much for recording these videos. I find them so much fun and uplifting!! Wish I lived closer to the two of you, although I’d be bankrupt for sure! Even after (and sometimes during) your videos I end up on Etsy. Then I take Laura’s advice (or is it a law?) that no chart can travel alone!! Looking forward to seeing you soon!! 💕
I would love to watch one of your videos without having to stop! Unfortunately I keep hitting the pause button so that I can go shop for all of the lovely things you show. Thank you for all of your efforts to support the economy!
Thanks Connie!!! So happy you find things that you like!!! and thank you for supporting the stitching economy!!! We have to make sure it is around for years to come!
I keep checking you tube all morning on Sunday waiting for you Ladies to show up. I enjoy your floss tubes so much. Loved Laura’s comments of “Squirrel-o-Rama” on all her new starts this last week. Laura’s name The Serial Stitcher is very appropriate! You guys are the best.
Thanks so much Diane!!! We have started taping our floss tube at 11 instead of 10 a.m. on Sundays when we "film" so we might be posting a bit later than we have in the past. And yes, I am sure living up to my name. Hope to work on the same projects for a bit at least this week!!! Happy Stitching!!
You ladies always inspire me. I have not been a sampler stitcher but because of you, I am going to give one or two or three a try. Another great video.
Always so much fun to catch up ith you both! I look forward to that 'girl sampler collection'! I was stitching whilst watching and when you showed the stork scissors .... I was using mine! lol They are such an excellent pair of scissors.
I'm Michele from Mill on the Floss Samplers. Thank you so much for stitching MK "A Guernsey Girl" I was so happy to see that you had included her in your video, and so honoured. I look forward to seeing your finish.
Hi Michele!!!!! I am so sorry I called your company Floss on the Mill!!!!! But I think every could tell the correct name from the cover of the chart. I am having such a great time with MK!!! She is so lovely!! And there were several more charts on your site that I will be purchasing soon!!! Thank you for your lovely reproduction samplers!!!! And thank you for watching our video!!! Hugs!!!!!!!
You both always make me smile :). And Brenda, you’re right, buying things that make us happy do not need justification! Laura, I loved every one of your “girl” patterns. You’ve inspired me to stitch at least one or two “girls”. Enjoy your stitching ladies.
"what you need to keep in your stash"...."everything"...perfect! Loving the addition of a tips/hacks section AND you two look so on point...gorgeous hair, gorgeous tops...stay awesome...
I was in the middle of watching your old videos and deciding if I needed a nap....when I saw you had a new one up! Well...that made my day! 🤣 I really enjoy seeing all of the pieces you guys are working on, I’m in the middle of Jane Stanwix and making good process due to your encouragement ...it is truly inspirational to see old charts or even new ones that you show that I might not have seen before or thought about ....bad thing is ...I want to stitch all the things ! Don’t we all ...so I’m gonna go order a few things then go do my 5 miles instead of a nap .....have a wonderful week and as always, thanks for sharing!
Wow! That is great that we inspired you to walk 5 miles instead of nap. I (Laura) promptly took a nap on Sunday afternoon but then had a great stitching evening. So glad you are working on Jane Stanwix!!! She is beautiful!!! You probably have to stitch a lot of smalls also for your shop so you are busy!!!! Hugs!
It is always a good Sunday when Brenda and Laura do a Floss Tube video! Love everything you show - projects, bags, bling, and scissors. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching world. ❣️👍❣️👍❣️
Brenda and Laura, I don't think you can possibly know how much joy (and shopping) you bring to so many - thank you!!! I didn't realize there was a new Fancy Blackett so will head over to get her. I also did not know about BBD Flowers of the Field so I must investigate that as well. I love the idea of a sampler wall with girls. Brenda you WTNT Saltbox is beautiful and your BBD patriotic framed piece is stunning. Thanks as always and have a great couple weeks!
Oh my gosh! I always have a pen and pad by my stitching chair to write down the goodies parade...I just bought the Guernsey Girl! The girl wall is genius! Thanks so much for another wonderful video. You both inspire me to explore the fun that is stitching! Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much for your lovely comments Jackie!!!!! Glad you found some inspiration!!! We all inspire each other that is for sure!!!!! So glad you bought that chart!!!!! Let me know if you make any color changes okay?
Lol...Ladies, I loved it when Brenda showed her scissors and Laura said, " one for upstairs, one for downstairs and one for the road!!" Couldn't be better. Have a fantastic stitching week.
I am with you, Brenda! Summer is my least favorite season and Autumn is my favorite! I don't like hot and muggy one little bit. Both of you have the most beautiful projects and I thank you for showing us how to do the thread --- I kept hearing about being able to pull out one thread at a time but never could figure it out! Thank you!
You have blown my mind! I never understood the whole thread drop and thread ring thing. Showing how to pull out one thread caused a brain explosion. I may have to rethink my whole thread organization. Thanks so much for another great video. I always love to see your projects.
Thanks Karen!!! So glad that we could "blow your mind" in a good way!!!! Yes, that was a game changer for me when someone showed me that method!!! It is fun to do!!!!!
It really is a joy watching you two! So much fun, lots to see and listen to. Keep on being you and your fun selves. I can hardly wait for the next episode. 😊❤️
I have had the greatest birthday today, and a new video from you two has been the icing on the cake. Thank you for being such a joy and inspiration to watch!
Right there with you Brenda - summer schlummer. I like fall, winter, spring and late spring and am so-so on summer. I do not tan nor do I care to try. I am also an avid hiker but fall and spring are less warm and less mosquito infested hiking seasons. Winter hiking is also fun and guess what? No bugs at all during our winter!
Oh my goodness! Thank you Laura for sharing the items you bought from my shop! I'm so happy you liked them (and Brenda, thank you for your kind comments about the items too!). I'm so pleased the doily banner will be going to your mom, hope she enjoys it. I've been getting sales though the day thanks to your mention, so thank you so much for sharing!! I'll need to re-watch and take notes because I love so many of the charts you showed. Brenda, your Saltbox house (I forget the name of the pattern) finish is gorgeous!! Love to you both - Stacey
Thank you for your wonderful wares Stacey!!!! So glad it sent some business your way!!! My Mom already loves the banner so much!! Hugs and happy stitching!!!
What a fun video, I need to watch again since I didn’t have pen & paper handy. I was stitching on Anna Morgan instead and was excited to see Laura’s start. I have a box of just “girls” charts, love them! Loved spending an hour with you two, always inspiring and brings lots of smiles! ❤️
What a fun and inspiring video. My birthday is this month, and I was busy making a list of your pretty and cute things and ideas -x maybe even stickers. I can’t wait. I like using cut fancy floss on drops for stitching, but my DMC is on bobbins for storage in three floss boxes that just fit in a sweet little antique sewing table. Don’t, however like to sew from bobbins. I’ll figure it out someday. See you soon.
I told my husband that I was excited because today I get to watch Brenda and the Serial Killer!! He looked at me and said “WHAT” then I realized what I had said.....we both just started laughing 😆 I do so enjoy your floss tube! Thank you for taking the time to make these for us. Already looking forward to your next one. Happy Stitching🤗🤗
Afternoon ladies... Beautiful stitching ... wowwww lots o fab goodies... and Beautiful gifts to receive... I have been cutting oot decoupage and stamping making a birthday card and Anniversary card have one more to make ... tonight I will be stitching oan... Jane Fiddes 1835... Happy stitching... You ladies are very dangerous for my pocketbook! Loved everything you showed today. I have Friends of the Hart by Plum Street Samplers at Total Framing getting gussied up. Can't wait to get it back. They've framed several of my projects already and I love love everything about them! Have a wonderful week!!
Oh boy!! Your Friends of the Hart is going to be amazing!!!!! So glad you are using Total Framing and loving them. They are true artisans! Happy Stitching!
You ladies make my Sunday complete!!! That was so much FUN!!! Love the framed Summer Jubilee, the saltbox houses, all the darling stitchy girls (a wall of those darling girls is going to be amazing) I’m off to buy the new pineberry lane chart!! Thanks for making life way more fun!!!
Another great video...and I don't like Summer either, Brenda...hate the heat, but at least where we are, the humidity is quite low, but hot is hot, ugh! I've been gathering some of those cute girl samplers also...getting to them is another story, but you two motivate me in so many ways...I'm hoping that you plan to bring back your highlighted designer segment, it was really fun to see all of those charts.
You’ve blown my mind with another great video!! Laura I love your red dress girl theme, I must add the small Pineberry Lane to my collection, she is adorable. You two could get royalties for all your sales you inspire, it’s impossible to make it through your video without a shopping list!! Thank you for sharing the love ❤️. Brenda your framed Summer Jubilee is magnificent!! 🥰. I have a pair of your new scissors, love them and what a chuckle I got when you showed your two new stork scissors!! Good for you, no apologies needed.... again!! Happy stitching!!
Thanks so much Carrie!!! That is so kind of you to say! And glad you got a pair of those scissors!!! They are wonderful!!!! Happy Stitching to you too!
Thanks so much Denise!!!! These days we are getting a little bit of a later start so look for videos in the early afternoon on the Sundays that we make a floss tube. Until then, Happy Stitching!
You two alway inspire me. Laura with her magic thread pulling trick - I can’t wait to try that myself. Brenda with her confessions and ‘I’m not going to feel guilty about it” attitude - I took that too heart and ordered a few things. Nothing wrong with bringing a little joy into your life. Have a good couple of weeks ladies! Blessings and take care.
Thanks so much Kristin!!!!!! Wait until you try that thread pulling trick! You will love it!!!! Glad you ordered a few things!! Hope they arrive fast and that they bring lots of joy!
Thank you both for such delightfully fun visits. Brenda, I saw your stork scissors and bought a pair, then went and bought two more, so that makes us related somehow. :) On the Dovo with good sized finger rings, the very best I have found (and ordered several) are the Dovo #84404. It takes a lot of frog kissing to pass that prince on to you, so I hope you will try. Much love to you both.
Thank you Vicki!!!!! And that is hilarious about having the house to yourself!!!! Making it a special occasion with no interruptions!!!!!! That is what I do with some of my favorites too!!!! Happy Stitching!
You brought up a really great point when talking about wanting to do a wall with the little girl samplers. I'm trying to learn to plan more with more intent when picking patterns. I have tons of random things that really don't go together so sit in a box. I think I'm gonna plan a theme and try to do a wall that way.
Themes are great Barbara!!! You can do red samplers or blue samplers or black samplers or girl samplers or flower samplers....possibilities are endless!!! Very exciting!
You definitely inspired me - Loved all your tips and tricks. What a great frame for the BBD stitch and the Brenda gervais piece is Gorgeous!!! Laura like your idea of girl stitches the ones you showed are very sweet . Happy Stitching. P.s. Quilting lesson was you always started a new project with a new needle lol
Another fun Sunday evening viewing :-). Look forward to your flosstubes as you both make me smile :-). And I agree Brenda ....no justification needed for buying all the things that make you happy.
What a great video! I may have a few of the same scissors as well. You just never know when you may need them. Love all the girl pattern and the Saltbox is gorgeous. Brenda, I am a new needle for each project as well, it just makes sense. Love all the fabric. There is a place called Stitchery Row in Endicott, NY and the owners are retiring, I may have bought some yards of linen, think there was a percentage off but she has Lakeside linen and 40 count so just in case you need to stock up. Love the bags and gifts from Tracy and those tomatoes on the back and of course you both have inspired and enabled. I think we all find joy in getting anything stitch related, so much fun.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 We are and he's enjoyed her first frogging..lol the poor guy.. we both frogged in the same day! lol jeepers. We hope you are all well.. love seeing your smiling faces and stitching. Love to you and yours.
LAdies CONGRATULATIONS...in my book another perfect video with enabling of course!! I was thinking Sulky threads might work with the Bright pencil box?? I would also add Victorian Motto fabric...she has beautiful colors as well as Seraphim. They both have beautiful sampler colors!! Nobody beats Lakeside and that's a fact!! Bread your finish voile!!! Can't wait to see it FFO'D!! Laura your starts on the samplers are GREAT!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2020!!
Absolutely love you ladies!! It takes me twice as long to get through your videos because I have to pause you ladies and go to the sites you mention....and well of course by the time your video is over I’m broke!! Thank goodness you’re only on every other week...lol Keep the videos coming...you guys make my day!
I don't know where to start for this video!! I have always loved patterns with little girls and the ones you showed are no exception. I had to make a list to check to see which ones I have; I always have to pause your video to go shop and then come back. Today was no exception; I was off to order from Picocrafts. Love her things; this is the second time I have ordered from her after watching your video. I love her style. Brenda, I totally agree that there is no guilt for anything we order as it all brings joy!! I love all of Laura's squirrels; so fun and we benefit from them. Brenda, I am with you about having lots of scissors; I even bought one pair of the handmade scissors with the box shown on The French Needle. They are expensive but I didn't want to wait until he retires and then wish I had bought a pair - they are exquisite. Brenda, your Saltbox piece is fabulous; it would be pretty in a painted box using the VMSS of the red or the pale aqua blue. This hour went so fast; I turned around and watched your video three times; 1st time to just savor everything, 2nd time to write down everything that I want to order, 3rd time to listen and stitch while I watch. Best three hours I have spent in a long time. Hugs to you both, and happy stitching....................P.S. watch out for those squirrels LOL
Thank you so much Pam!!! Loved reading all of your comments! So glad you have ordered from Pico Crafts!!! She is the best! Also, thank you for forgiving me for not starting Mrs. Pearson yet...you can see why now. Your scissors must be gorgeous!!!!!!!! I am glad you got a pair!!! Sending hugs and love!
Fun Monday morning for me watching you two. It's been so hot here in eastern Washington so all I can think about is fall and Halloween stitching. I don't like summer either. I only use stork scissors. They're what I use for frogging also. I've never been accomplished at the seam ripper thingy. Thanks for another rather enabling get together. Love you guys!!
Thanks Carol!!!!! Yes, I heard about how hot it has been in Washington. Can't wait for fall weather!!!! That is neato that you only use stork scissors. They are so beautiful!!!!! Happy Stitching and i hope it cooled off!
What fun! You always give me serious chart envy. My poor husband just shakes his head and reminds me that we still have to eat, he said ,”you can’t eat cross stitch, but you would if you could! “ well no, but I want one of everything. Thanks for sharing your stitching and fun.🤗🇦🇺
Thanks Ruth!!! Maybe you can make a list of charts that you want and that will take some of the sting out of it.....that is my idea of what to do. I mean, I need to do it right now, but I will start doing that someday instead of just getting "all the charts I want." On the other hand, I hope you win the lottery and can get every single thing you want!
My grandfather on my father's side was a beautiful embroider. Unfortunately I never saw his pieces because they got stolen when I was very young and they were never recovered. It makes me feel sad, but more so for my late father because they were left in his care and they were very precious to him. My dad was a beautiful weaver and weaving instructor and was once asked to move to America to teach weaving but it never materialized which again is very sad. Now, at 62 years young, I have recently (this year!) started cross stitch and I am determined to leave some beautiful pieces behind me in the hope my sons will keep them safe. I also dearly hope that somehow my dear father will be looking down on me and seeing my efforts. I am the youngest in the family and the only sibling that shows any flair for craft work. I am currently working on a beautiful piece with blue flag irises. I want to finish it and give it to my hubby who tends our small garden. Unfortunately he has not been able to do so much lately as he is unwell and there is a chance he has cancer for the second time, this time on his tongue. It's breaking my heart. I help him as much as I can but I have developed a problem at the base of my spine and I am in constant pain but I'm hoping to see the neurosurgeon soon. I have to use a walking stick indoors. I didn't mean to offload lol. I was just letting you see why stitching is going to be so important to me. Last time I watched one of you videos (earlier today) I covered both sides of an A5 envelope with the names of patterns I just adore. So I think it's safe to say I've fallen fast and furiously down the stitching rabbit hole!! Haha. You probably stopped reading this ages ago but if you're still in the vicinity I just want you to know I really like you two ladies and I hang on every stitchy word you say!!! Stay safe and well. Kate x
I love your channel. You two are a hoot-a breath of fresh air in these crazy times.
Thank you so much Natalie!!! That is very kind of you to say!!!!

Thank you dear!!!! Just wish we were all at the Attic right this second!!!!! Happy Stitching~!
Thank you sooo much. I can totally do that. You all are the best.
Thanks Katy!!!
Lol...Ladies, I loved it when Brenda showed her scissors and Laura said, " one for upstairs, one for downstairs and one for the road!!" Couldn't be better. Have a fantastic stitching week.
Thanks Marty!!!! Happy Stitching and snipping to you!!!
I loved watching your purchases!
Thanks so much Cleta!
Thank you!
Thanks so much Barbara! Glad you can do the pull one thread thing now. It is kind of life changing!!!
Thank you for your very kind words Linda!!!! We really appreciate it!!! Hugs and happy stitching!
I have had the greatest birthday today, and a new video from you two has been the icing on the cake. Thank you for being such a joy and inspiration to watch!
Linda Manning Happy Birthday!!
Thanks ladies...sending off my first Total Framing package tomorrow. They could not have been nicer!
That is great to hear Julia!!! I just know you will be thrilled!
Great as usual. Always look forward to your flosstube
We all sound like we like the same seasons for sure!!! and no bugs!!!!!!
Thank you! I love all the haul! The new frame is gorgeous! Happy stitching ladies. Can’t wait to see you again! 😃😃😃
Thanks so much Paulette!!!!!!! Happy Stitching to you too!!!!!
It makes me happy every time I see a video from you two. Darn !! Now I have to wait 2 weeks for the next one.. Wish I could hang out with you girls..
Thanks so much Connie!!!! Wish we could all hang out too!!!!!!!
Thanks so much!!! Ohhhhh!!! A box of just girls charts!! I would love to see that!!! Happy Stitching!
Thanks Tara! Happy Birthday month!!! Hope you can get a lot of fun things to celebrate. Yes, we all need to figure out what works best with our floss!
That is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy! Thanks Johna!!!! Hope you have some happy stitching these next two weeks!!!

That is the top tip I ever learned!!!!! Love doing that!
Great video! Enjoyed seeing all of your things
Thanks so much Lorie!!!!
Thank you for making our lives way more fun!!! We love you Kristie!!!!!!!
Wow your salt box houses are awesome. Can’t wait to see it finished.
I keep checking you tube all morning on Sunday waiting for you Ladies to show up.
Thank you for another FlossTube filled with information, inspiration, and plenty of laughter! Squirrel-O-Rama!
🐿 🐿 🐿
Thanks so much Bronte!!!!!!! Happy Stitching!!!
I love your finishes, wips and stash....so much inspiration.
Thanks so much Jacqueline!!! We are lucky ducks for sure!
Great video ladies, what an inspiration. Thank you for sharing so much. I like the idea of the "lady" wall. Have a great week. Blessings
Thanks so much Terry!!!!! Happy Stitching until next time!!!
I love your videos, i always wait until I have the house to myself to watch your videos
Thanks Linda!!!!! Good to know that Brenda has been following best practices!!!!
Another fun Sunday evening viewing :-). Look forward to your flosstubes as you both make me smile :-). And I agree Brenda ....no justification needed for buying all the things that make you happy.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! and let's all listen to Brenda!!!
Great flosstube again, love the “I just don’t care” and thank you for all the ideas of what I also want to stitch you 2 give me 😉❤️❤️
You both always inspire me! Not sure I will ever catch up with the two of you but I'm going to give it a shot! Thanks for your time!
Thank you so much Fay!!!!!! Hey, as long as you are having fun no need to "catch up!" We just all need to stitch what makes us happy!!! Hugs!!!
Thanks Renee!!!!! Glad you got some yards of linen!!!!! That is so much fun!!!! Thank you for your kind comments. Happy Stitching!!!
Lovely girls, just love seeing all your goodies as always. I love the angel cards they are beautiful. 💓💓💓 stay safe and well.
Thanks so much Joanne!!!!! Happy Stitching!

Thanks Cindy!!!!! That is great that you finished a border!!!!!! That is always a good feeling!!! Happy Stitching!!
Thanks so much Karen!!! What kind words! And I agree with every word you said about the linens. Happy Stitching to you!!!!
Absolutely love you ladies!! It takes me twice as long to get through your videos because I have to pause you ladies and go to the sites you mention....and well of course by the time your video is over I’m broke!! Thank goodness you’re only on every other week...lol
Keep the videos coming...you guys make my day!
Thanks so much Chris!!!!! Someday this stash buying may all come to a screeching halt, but until then....let's live it up! Happy Stitching!
Great starts, finishes and haul!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday afternoon with you both!! 😊😊
I always enjoy your floss tube.
Great video! Keep ‘me coming!
Kate x
Hi Brenda and Laura, my least favorite season is summer too. I’m looking forward to fall and winter. Love watching both of you.
Thanks so much Elizabeth!!!!! Bring on the Fall!!!
