I got onto your floss tube a short while ago and I must say......you two are some of the very best enablers! Hahahaha 😂 and I LOVE it!!! I was at the attic last November for Blackbird and Merry Cox. That’s the first class I’ve had with Blackbird and omg it was a lot of fun. Those two Barb and Alma, are hilarious. Such a fun time. I’ve known Merry for several years and have taken many classes over the years. I hope to attend a summer school at the attic. I’ve done the January symposium which is amazing and I’ve heard a lot about summer school. So fingers crossed! I really want to say to you both that I look so forward to your videos! It keeps me inspired and you both are wonderful women. Hopefully we can meet at a retreat somewhere, sometime. Keep the videos coming and I know I appreciate the work you put into doing it for all of us to enjoy. 🤗 thank you both so much for sharing your beautiful work. But the fresh air is wonderful so.....I just started feeling so sad that I couldn’t attend Summer School....I would have been in Wonderland!!! My darlings Brenda and Laura! I am sick as a dog but you are bringing me joy! Now I have never stitched on Linen before this month and my first piece is Seraphim Dusty Road in 32 count. I have never done anything more than 28 count either but the two of you gave me the courage and I LOVE IT! Now I need 11 more pieces of the fabric to finish the FLowers of the Month from this year's Just Cross Stitch (I wanted to start small with my first linen project). But oh my head - I keep going back to that damn grass comment because the word Setpember is 2 over 1 - over 1 good Lord! BUt I still LOVE IT!
How exciting Tammy!!!!!!!! So glad you are having fun with the linen.....I think both of us could live without doing over one for the rest of your lives....but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I am a nurse and we are tough nuts usually but today I felt the loss...Im going to rewatch and make sure I buy all the projects that I should have received in person...might see you both next year? Brenda and the Serial Starter I’ve stayed there a couple of times. Very sweet downtown with yrekabakery = best palindrome! My nephew lived on Bainbridge Island for a few years...rather la de dah. He lives in England now though. Holding my breath til your on again.
I am not really a sampler stitcher but your videos a must-see TV for me and I am inspired! I just purchased a Little Gem and I plan to start it as soon as possible. I have a large collection of magazines from the 80s and 90s that were passed on to me and I am finding quite a few samplers I love. I can’t wait for your next video.

Hi Brenda and Laura-you know you’re old when...Stitchers talk about NPI silk thread. I got a glimpse of the label and kinda recognized it. So in my old age I googled NPI silk. Only to be reminded of how old I am. I started cross stitching about and year and a half ago/previously I was a needle pointer -purchasing threads and painted canvases (40 plus years )from...Needlepoint Inc...!!!! Omg!!! It’s like the circle of stitching life!!! Lol!!!😀
Love you guys!! You are my favorite floss tubers by a landslide!!! I am converting my thread from ziplocks to drops so I can be like you. (There should be a comb for the floss on drops. Laura’s mom would approve)

Another great video by my two favs... it always makes my day when I see a video notification from you two pop up! I know it's bad but I have started quite a few of the samplers you've shown (I have Mary Cook started, Jane Stanwix, and just stitched some more on Merrily We Welcome Spring over the weekend!) I also have Elizabeth Hunter (another Scarlett House) almost done... I am a Scarlett House junkie! When Carol (saltbox stitcher) mentioned she has 25 wips I thought, hmmm, I bet I have at least that many going (me and Laura -serial starter - would be bff's for sure!) But I can't seem to put down my HATS Louisa Coulimore and finish the others I have going ... stitching a monochrome works for me this month. What a swoon-worthy box of wonderfulness you received from The Attic!!! I just love the pillow and the We Are The Sampler Makers! H & H worthy!! I participated in Friendstitch, a virtual retreat on this past Saturday put on by Cecelia Turner of Heart In Hand and Elizabeth and Marsha from Bent Creek. It was my first ever cross stitch retreat and it was very well done and a lot of fun! I can see how fun it could be in person, tho, getting to meet and visit with all the other stitchers that were involved. At least I got the idea of what goes on at a retreat and it was very fun! Happy stitching the next two weeks! I am anxious to see what the Serial Starter starts!!! 🐝🌼🐿🍂🦔🍁🦉🍂🍁🐌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Good video! I saw the gal who went to summer school when she showed the projects. I talked to Tanya from Scarlett house and she said the small piece will definitely be released. That was my favorite thing. I wish we had some good news this week but its coming. The fires and smell here in Oregon have been terrible. But rain tomorrow. But one has to stay inside and stitch😉

My darlings Brenda and Laura! I am sick as a dog but you are bringing me joy! Now I have never stitched on Linen before this month and my first piece is Seraphim Dusty Road in 32 count. I have never done anything more than 28 count either but the two of you gave me the courage and I LOVE IT! Now I need 11 more pieces of the fabric to finish the FLowers of the Month from this year's Just Cross Stitch (I wanted to start small with my first linen project). But oh my head - I keep going back to that damn grass comment because the word Setpember is 2 over 1 - over 1 good Lord! BUt I still LOVE IT!
How exciting Tammy!!!!!!!! So glad you are having fun with the linen.....I think both of us could live without doing over one for the rest of your lives....but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I am a nurse and we are tough nuts usually but today I felt the loss...Im going to rewatch and make sure I buy all the projects that I should have received in person...might see you both next year? Brenda and the Serial Starter I’ve stayed there a couple of times. Very sweet downtown with yrekabakery = best palindrome! My nephew lived on Bainbridge Island for a few years...rather la de dah. He lives in England now though. Holding my breath til your on again.
I am not really a sampler stitcher but your videos a must-see TV for me and I am inspired! I just purchased a Little Gem and I plan to start it as soon as possible. I have a large collection of magazines from the 80s and 90s that were passed on to me and I am finding quite a few samplers I love. I can’t wait for your next video.

Hi Brenda and Laura-you know you’re old when...Stitchers talk about NPI silk thread. I got a glimpse of the label and kinda recognized it. So in my old age I googled NPI silk. Only to be reminded of how old I am. I started cross stitching about and year and a half ago/previously I was a needle pointer -purchasing threads and painted canvases (40 plus years )from...Needlepoint Inc...!!!! Omg!!! It’s like the circle of stitching life!!! Lol!!!😀

Another great video by my two favs... it always makes my day when I see a video notification from you two pop up! I know it's bad but I have started quite a few of the samplers you've shown (I have Mary Cook started, Jane Stanwix, and just stitched some more on Merrily We Welcome Spring over the weekend!) I also have Elizabeth Hunter (another Scarlett House) almost done... I am a Scarlett House junkie! When Carol (saltbox stitcher) mentioned she has 25 wips I thought, hmmm, I bet I have at least that many going (me and Laura -serial starter - would be bff's for sure!) But I can't seem to put down my HATS Louisa Coulimore and finish the others I have going ... stitching a monochrome works for me this month. Hopefully this Fall I will have more finishes to put up on my wall. Have a great week you guys!

What a swoon-worthy box of wonderfulness you received from The Attic!!! I just love the pillow and the We Are The Sampler Makers! H & H worthy!! I participated in Friendstitch, a virtual retreat on this past Saturday put on by Cecelia Turner of Heart In Hand and Elizabeth and Marsha from Bent Creek. It was my first ever cross stitch retreat and it was very well done and a lot of fun! I can see how fun it could be in person, tho, getting to meet and visit with all the other stitchers that were involved. At least I got the idea of what goes on at a retreat and it was very fun! Happy stitching the next two weeks! I am anxious to see what the Serial Starter starts!!! 🐝🌼🐿🍂🦔🍁🦉🍂🍁🐌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Good video! I saw the gal who went to summer school when she showed the projects. I talked to Tanya from Scarlett house and she said the small piece will definitely be released. That was my favorite thing. I wish we had some good news this week but its coming. The fires and smell here in Oregon have been terrible. But rain tomorrow. But one has to stay inside and stitch😉
