Same. There is one of a girl crying over her nails (or something like that, she doesn't speak clearly) and saying "this, this is what I wanted" and something about pastel colours. Every TikTok about someone being disappointed by their hair dresser uses that soundbite and I find it unbearable to listen to. I've heard it so often on this channel; I can't believe Hair Buddha can still stand it.

Years ago I used to bleach my hair trust me your not missing out on anything there's also the itching and burning during the process plus damage dryness after, the faster your hair grows 'like mine does ' the more root touch ups you need

I really don’t think anyone is doing this purely for attention, it’s really not that deep. They’re just filming themselves doing their hair, big deal. Everyone does silly things and everyone makes mistakes with their hair, make up etc.

I wanted to thank you for making me realise that I don’t need to bleach and recolour my hair again. I’m just growing out my natural hair colour now.
I went to her channel video and appreciate the fact she addressed this reaction video. She mentioned that her video was from 4 years ago. I’m happy to see she’s doing well because she has suffered a history of depression and self-harm (e.g. cutting). I really dig her look - she’s so beautiful inside and out.

When I was young (many moons ago!), I had so many hair fails that my friends could tell there had been a disaster when they saw my long hair tied up on my head in braids … “Well, I guess it went green again!” 😂 I sure wish we had Hair Buddha back then!

Me too many a time I’ve gone to get colour correction by professionals. I’ve had hot roots didn’t know about how to avoid the hot roots back then, then freaking out and toning it only for it to grab the purple then I ended up with patchy purple blonde hair. (Not the look I was going for). Then spending hundreds at the hairdressers to get a brown to cover it all. Luckily now I’m in the process of growing out my natural silver greys and can’t wait for it to end. 😊

I don't feel bad for her. I don't feel bad for most anymore. An hour of research could prevent a majority of these issues. Being lazy with application is also a massive issue. If you half ass it you will get a half ass result or worse. It's one thing to misunderstand the chemistry and screw it up, it's another to make no effort to learn and not understand why it doesn't work correctly.

"That's one way to get a pixie cut." That's one reason I've stayed away from hair dye. It took my hair a few years to get to the length it is now. Another reason I avoid hair dye is the red undertone in my color. Didn't learn this until watching a few of these videos. Thank you for the great education you provide Hair Budda.

I have been watching your channel for a little less than a month (I’ve had a lot of videos to keep me content and catching up). I use purple shampoo for my gray hair…long story short my husband took it out of the shower because I had left it on the shower floor; he says “I put your purple stuff (he didn’t know it was shampoo) on a bag because I wasn’t sure what you used it for”. I told him it was for my gray hair and he says “Don’t forget! It’s not for toning and it won’t help with bleaching!!”. I don’t bleach my hair anymore, it’s been 4 years that I’ve touched it but I definitely wasn’t expecting him to use Hair Buddha against me! 😂 I hope everyone is having a great week. 💚

I had the same hair: blonde tips and brown regrow. I did myself foil highlights only at the top of the head and it worked out so great. Because of the foils it was so much easier to avoid the tips. ✌🏼 In the end it was more blond then I expected. 😅

These videos are so helpful. Lots of young gals especially try to do their own because having it done is so expensive. I remember a girl in highschool who used so much peroxide..her ends were burnt off..and always had dark roots. Yet..she kept doing it. There was no one around to teach her properly. I KNOW girls still do this kind of thing. Thank you for your help.

Dearest Hair Buddha, you would be so proud of me bleaching my hair but I had no way to video it. I think I went overboard with the fine sections and applying enough product. I had a surprise shock that it traveled into my roots that I had not bleached. Anyways I fixed it by bleaching the orange ends again to match the yellow roots and although it's much lighter blonde than I wanted, I'm getting so many compliments on the even color.
I got tired of hairdressers not doing my hair white how i want it as they're always too scared, but i had it done back in 2008 and loved it so i know my hair can handle it. Few days ago i just did it myself again and loved how it turned out. I got it very pale then went over with colour royal 9.65 (ultra light violet mahogany blonde). Now it's white with a light pastel rose tint. I'm more happy with it than what i pay over $250 for a hairdresser to do lol

I see two things that she did correctly: 1. She started at the line of demarcation. 2. She waited until the end to do the roots and she didn't get hot roots.
So, giving credit where it's due, she didn't do EVERYTHING wrong. If she had taken thin sections and not used the hair dryer, I think she would have had a pretty decent result.

@Hair Buddha or someone who knows, for a bleach wash, do you follow the same procedure for putting on bleach? Lengths first, small sections, etc? Or are you just supposed to apply it like a shampoo/ less meticulous?

I went to an expensive hair salon with great reviews to do my roots and the lady fried my hair completely. That was four months ago and I'm still shocked. After almost 20 years of being blond, I now need to look for plan B. My hair grows very slowly and I have no idea how to deal with it until it has at least a chin length. I'm definitely NOT a type for pixie cut. So yeah, hair salon can ruin your hair completely as well.
The best thing for you would be to get a wig. After it grows for about 6 months, you can start looking into getting extensions. I know someone that has level 4 hair but has blonde tape in extensions to her shoulders. No one but me and her stylist know she has extensions.
Also, vitamins might help your hair grow faster- but check with your doctor first.
@@justbecause9049 Where I'm from good wigs can cost up to couple of thousands euros. I was thinking about getting extensions, but I was told that my hair need to be at least 15 centimeters long for that. The worst thing is that they burned the great amount of hair at the very top of my head, it's almost impossible to style my hair in any way. I'm taking the crazy amount of vitamins and supplements right now, I really hope it'll help))

Heh. We all have to learn the hard way. I started high school bleaching my shoulder-length hair for a couple years, then I wanted it my natural dark blonde color. Got a box dye of said dark blonde. It turned greenish-grey. I didn’t know that yellow and blue make green…My mom made me go to school the next day, and classmates called me Grandmother Seaweed 😂until I had my hair chopped short and dyed in a salon after school. 😂
Definitely was entertained by this video. Watching someone destroy their hair,and come out with the same result . She could have just dyed her length purple, and the roots and ends black. She didn’t know what she wanted. Her poor hair! Color looks good in the end…but she made it so confusing! Again, I wish they could hear you! 😊
