This is such a great idea. I wonder if anyone will try to do something similar with maybe 2001 rahi or something

If you want to be more accurate, the yellow print "european architecture" is a building material called wattle and daub, where a lattice of interwoven wood (wattle) is covered in plaster (daub) and supported by the black timber supports you see.

Fun fact: the tiny "ancient jail cell" to the right of the portcullis is similar to an "oubliette" or "forget-me-not" in French. Same concept where a particularly nasty or unwanted criminal would be placed into a small hole just barely large enough for a man, a grate or stone cover would be placed on top, and they would be forgotten.

Building this one right now with all my old parts. Had to spend about 80 euros on part picker to get the more recent elements but it's so worth it. Such a fun build, I basically got a very big set for 80 euros + all my childhood investments from my parents 😀

If I have a 6086 set do I need to buy a lot of extra rare parts to build this?

I got the original Black Knights castle from when i were a kid and it always was my favorite lego set. I kinda want to buy the instructions for this as i think i got like 2/3 of the parts. Just a question, are the instructions good or do i need to know lots of lego building techniques before attemting it? It looks amazing.

    Hi men. Beautyfull work.

I‘m really hyped to build this castle because of your review! Great work! But it‘s too expensive to me all build in Lego. I ordered Most Parts via webrick, and the flags via ali (I went for Black Falcons too 😉). I only ordered necessary Parts at bricklink. I went for all plain black and yellow panels, because of the price too. I also ordered stickers for the Stone- and Black/Yellow look. That way I went with hardly under 250€. To me, it’s about the building, so I‘m absolutly fine with this 👍

Just rebuild my Royal Castle so this was fun to watch. What I don’t likes is that the big tower doesn’t have a wall that opens. The always open sides in a castle always annoys me when they were bei my sieged

I imagine that you could do an opening wall to cover that. What I miss is that the front bridge looks like it has no closing mechanism.

I personnaly NOT love the design of the yellow panel integrated.. I even hate it, tu fotos you show at the beginning seems very cool things but this castle I don’t really like it, to much things , details that arent integrated smoothly enough, it’s disturbing for the eyes. But I would love to see the others

SORRY.
