I have the identical problem with my Suzuki xl-7...thanks for the great presentation.
Great job. Easy to follow. Step by step
Thank you Len.
Great video with perfect visuals.
At the risk of sounding unknowledgeable, are axle seals and wheel bearing seals the same thing in this instance?I've seen the seal between a driveshaft and transmission referred to as an axle seal as well
Great informative video but them shoes can be cleaned with brake cleaner well, let to dry then place them back on ...it works & saves 1 some money !
Love the signature ziptie with safety green tape end :)

What grease is on the axle seal? My new seal is leaking on the drivers side of my 2008 Civic. I removed and reinstalled once already but maybe I need to add grease to it.
Great video.
Thank you for your kind words Adam!
Are you able to turn the drive shaft like he was if you don’t have the car off the ground (just the back jacked for ex.)? Also what did he put on the seal when putting it in?
Nice job i thing i might want you to change mines but where are you located at send some info
I think I have this on my Jeep Wrangler on both front wheels... Does this cause the wheels to shake as well as make the steering wheel jerk and stutter when turning?
My brother, as soon as I spun the driveshaft both gears fell out. I hope they aren't too hard to put back in. Also, I noticed mine doesn't have that S clip /clamp in the middle of the gears like yours does. Is that normal? I have an 03 liberty sport v6
I just changed a bearing and seal 2 months ago came out this morning saw gear fluid on the ground is the seal a defect or can something else cause it to leak?
Made it look easy. Not bad if you know what you're doing.
And even if you don't Piri, that is what the videos are for!
Thank u

how long should this job take for a garage?
Nice job man..also don't get grease on YA..smells forever
You make this look so easy. Lord know if I tried to do this everything would go wrong. I guess I will just go to the shop and get charged a arm and a leg wish me luck guys 😭
How’d it go? Did your issue get solved or was there another reason for the oil leakage?
What are some symptoms of bad axle seal, aside from the leaking? I have a Nissan frontier 2wd. I notice when I accelerate from a dead stop, it feels like the truck rocks back almost like a tiny slip in the gears finally catches. It drives smooth without a problem when I'm cruising, then once I brake and come to a complete stop, it'll do the same jerk/rock back feeling. I honestly thought my driver's seat wasn't fully bolted down and when I accelerate or brake it'll rock a little bit but that's not the case. Also, it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes the throttle response is perfect and braking is normal. At least 4 times a week it'll do that rocking motion
Check your universal joint.
You ever find out the issue to the jerk/rock back feeling? I got the same thing happening on my car when slowing down/accelerating, does not happen often maybe once or twice a week.
If you're this far into it just replace both bearings and seals. New bearings and seals is about $25. Just rent a bearing puller from the auto parts store. Also, refill with Amsoil severe gear oil. Its the best.
You didn't mention what kind of grease to you, where to put it in, and how much.
How much it cost?
Common cause(s) for front and rear axle seal leaks?
Normally age and/or driving conditions. Sometimes things like larger/wider tires can cause more stress on the seals and cause then to wear out prematurely as well.
You dont put rtv on the outer part of the seal...
Do you guys have the seal and wheel bearing for a 2006 crown Vic?
+Danny Garcia We have the rear bearings, but not the seal. They can be found at the link below. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

What type of oil is that leaks? 🤔
You didn't explain what "gasket maker" you are using. You just showed some tube.
And you need to ck the axle vent to make sher it claer of debre. And in your rust belt states free of under coating A plued vent will blow out a axle seal and is vary offen over looked .
I messed up. I turned too much and one of
the small wheels fell out.
Both of mine fell out too. Did you fix it yourself?
Have you heard of a seal leaking because of clogged vent hose?
Roughly how much do a axel job cost
I'd be charged about $500.
Around $600 or $700
Trans shops usually charge between $400 - $500 Normal auto shops charge between $500 - $700. Always call a trans shop first.
dang the dealer is charging me $1,400
You forgot to grease the seal lip!
Gooood my brother
I hope you are in my city I’m from Saudi Arabia
